Ive been here in AWMA long time ago for my karate uniform and gears which this store is the go to place for Martial Arts Supplies in the Philadelphia area

An excellent place with excellent selection. I generally come in here for uniforms but they offer a wide range of training literature & equipment like makiwara, wooden dummies, sparring gear, boxing gloves, etc.

The company changed the cut of their uniforms and did not notify their customers. They also changed the sizing with some 30 lbs difference between sizes. Absurd!THREE attempts to get correct sizes and still an issue. One of the replacement white tops came in an off white color (looked like somebody had worn it as their smoking jacket for a couple of years)Management wanted to argue irrelevant points (where is the tournament were now are going to have a real difficult time putting students into because of their multiple mistakes)Replacement shipment was a day later than promised.Management offered no viable solution or to make things right. Loyal customer of about 15 years received TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.Im sure century or martial arts supermarket will do better.

Been going there for over 10 years. Huge store, tons of stuffs! I wish they have more Gojuryu products. Mostly it for TWD brands. I enjoy browsing there.

Placed a large order only to receive an email that it was placed on hold. How and why would you encourage us to order more and then place it on hold because its so big. I have never had any martial arts supply vendor do this....EVER. Please let me know if I am ordering too much and I will find someone who can handle the volume.

Amazing selection for people who want to pay double or triple for training equipment.

Its been quite awhile going to AWMA since they moved locations. Ive been buying online until my first visit to their new store. It was great to be in their. The selections were great. Prices are reasonable and the service was top notch. Unfortunately I can only go on my day off. But what a place to spend it. I bought myself a new Karate gi and a few other items to continue my training in martial arts. All my needs were met and I even found a couple of new friends in the process. Thursdays will be my days up their. Im already working on my list of items to buy on my next trips to Asian World of Martial Arts. See you their fellow practitioners.

Wow what a store or should i say big as a warehouse. Whatever you need i am sure they will have it. Staff was very nice and friendly also hepful. They have a fitting room to try stuff on so you know you have the right fit. And the prices are good sure you can go online for cheaper stuff but you get what ypu pay for. I am close to an hours drive away but it is so worth the trip and traffic. 5 stars thanks guys.

An amazing company to do business with. I have ordered EVERYTHING from them for years for my schools and have had nothing but success. I get all of my orders quickly, including when I ran a school overseas! My orders are almost always shipped the same day I place the order. I have had to call in for several reasons. Duplicate invoices, documents for tax purposes, accidentally ordered wrong color Gis and MORE. I always get a person instantly who is friendly and able to get me what I needed instantly. The staff, prices, and quality is unbeatable.

Weve used Asian World for quite some time. Ive called & called, emailed, left facebook message no one contacted me us back. Placed an order on May 2nd asked for it to be expedited, called again May 18th for follow up was told they were sending it, its May 31st & no one has contacted us from Asian World, but we have been charged for the uniforms over a week ago. Disappointed with poor customer service, & no follow through.

Hands down the biggest and best martial arts equipment store Philadelphia has. Wherever you are coming from it’s well worth the drive. Located in a non congested part of Philly . I drive over an hour to get my martial arts equipment there and it’s worth it every time. They always have a bunch of neat low priced karate uniforms and martial arts weopons too.Their selections are especially good if you are looking to buy nunchucks or to buy sais. Beautiful and sturdy. When I started a martial arts program in my area, I need low cost kids karate uniforms that still looked legitimate, so I was pleased to find they had what I needed.

Ive been a customer since 1983 purchasing items like Chinese throwing stars and Katanas for example. Im still a customer to this day and bypass other competitors online as well as stand alone stores. Their service and reputation is outstanding.

The company sent a completely wrong size. I called to the AWMA with this question and did not receive any apologies. The company refused to pay for the return shipping. AWMA refused to admit company mistake and I paid shipping. Disgusting service with customers.

Ive had a wholesale account with AWMA for years, but recently had the chance to visit their Pro Shop in Philadelphia. Great selection of equipment, and it was nice to see/feel the gear before buying.
