If you are into sports betting and not into waiting in a line that is never moving then this is the place to go to place your bets. its not the nicest place in the world but it is a good old South Philly place and the fact of the matter is they move the line at the sportsbook three times faster than any casino, or other spot you can place a bet in Philadelphia. If youre serious about your games and getting them in on time, and tired of pulling your hair out of your head while youre at some other fancy casino that has no clue how sports betting goes, then come to the turf club. youll get your games in and youll get them in on time and at the counter youll deal with a good old South Philly native who understands the importance of what youre trying to accomplish on Sunday morning. if you want fancy and dont care about getting your bets in on time go to one of the casinos.if you plan to enjoy your day at home and are most concerned about getting your bets in and getting them in on time this is the only place to go. most of the casino sports books are a joke, this place runs like your bookie. Always right on time...

It needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughly .

The clerk behind the counter are train to be unprofessional. When they process your bets, they always put the wrong bets in for you. Then they ask you to look on the screen to see if everything is right. You have to fix and adjust it. It throws you off guard. Even after you adjust your bet, before they print out a ticket, they will change your bet real quick to something else you you didnt play and then they print the ticket out. I didnt notice she switch one of my bets unotice during the ticket printing process . And when I got home and look over my ticket again, I notice it was switch to a bet I didnt play, and made back there before one hour of when the ticket was printed . And they didnt let me change it and refuse to even give me my money back. And its was half an hour before any game started. I would give it negative 5 star if it was a option to do it. And in the building, it didnt look like it was up to date, seems all ghetto in there.

Place needs new management how are you a betting facility and have no tellers to bet ..... manager is terrible

This place is great it has seating for several hundred people plus the food is good but the alcohol is a little overpriced. But other than that its a great place to just sit down bet some horses and have a good time win or lose

An extension of Parx, has everything but slot machines. Sports bet, Horse bet, no live races, all simulcast. Bar and some food.

Not even an option on Eagles game day. They have the room and TVs to do something there, but the staff and beer/food selection are in a contest with each other to be the worst.
