Wonderful place to get your world food, I’m Jamaican so it’s a great thing that I can find things to cook my favorite Jamaican meal and also I get to try other foods from around the world. The staff are always nice and the customer service is top of the line. Also get there early for the best experience.

I like what you can find here, theres a lot of variety. They have good brands and decent prices. Love stopping here for cool snacks and the bread.The employees can be curt if you ask where to find something/whether something is in stock, so be prepared to wander around. The aisles are very narrow, and it can be difficult to get around people stocking shelves.

Great selection of fresh veggies and any type of ingredients to make Asian food. Plus a small selection of Saki as well I was happy to find this place close to my home.

Forget about the smell that will greet you at d doorstep ;) always buy my asia goodies here, its not typical walmart type but they have good variety of asian goodies here, they sell fresh meat & seafood as well ^^

Wanted to visit this place hoping to be able to purchase items I needed. This store is disappointing. Not only it is a tiny store, their products are overpriced and employees are not nice. It is worth driving to 99 ranch or Hmart for better store with better deal.

My first time going into this store..mainly my boyfriend was buying Fresh Fish..It was a OK store..fresh vegtables were high for local produce.

My girlfriend I have been going to this market for awhile. Everyone’s nice and things come at a good price. Until recently, when we went to get our food, some of our groceries were moldy. We are specifically referring to the Spicy Rice Cake packages. We feel as though it is due to them not refrigerating it correctly. I would have posted pictures of it as well but it was just too appalling at the time. Same goes for the meat and vegtables we purchased. The vegatables look like they went bad and the meat has the worst smell. And it wasnt even close to the expiration date on the package. I would not have been so upset, but this is our weeks worth of groceries all gone to waste. I cannot get my money back either since this has never happened, Id never expect it. So, the receipt is gone. I’d like to say I’m very disappointed especially since someone could get sick if they don’t notice these kinds of things. For anyone seeing this, check your food closely.

I live in northern Arizona and every time I go to Phoenix I stop by this lams location to pick up some Asian goodies. Its always well stocked and clean, but I wont deny that there is a funky smell in the store 🙂 lol I have never identified they source of the smell but I suspect its coming from the meat/fish department. They need to work on that.

Well laid out Asian grocery store with fresh produce. Smaller than Lams Fresh Seafood. Very clean.

The best place in the West Valley for Asian vegetables. They always have what I need. Cant find Chinese celery at Lee Lee? Lams has it and their vegetables are always fresh! Ripe lychees, great selection of sauces and other hard to find ingredients.

I like this store. Its not as big as Mekong but they have the essentials here. Even the small Jamaican and African section had the main essentials youll need. Store is well organized too and not pricey. Will be back here more for sure

This is the biggest Asian store I have ever seen. They have lots of veggies that Ive never seen before and shelves stocked with everything. The staff doesnt even know what all they have. I Was told there was no dark soy sauce. I found it in another section of the store. He still gets an A for effort.

Great place to get natto. They have a huge selection of natto. Also lots of high quality Asian spices and Asian sauces at good prices. And a great selection of fresh seafood.

They have live crabs!! Also a good selection of kitkat that are hard to find.

Great place fresh catfish and trout.Those who are complaining about the smell should go to a true Asian market overseas.

I bought 15 pounds of ground pork from here and it’s literally disgusting! Funky smell and when you cook it just smells super bad. Don’t buy meat from any lams I went to another lams on Indian school to just check and same thing. Smells just nasty going to have to report this place.

They have a very well stocked produce department, the rest of the store is well stocked as well. Even with so much inventory it is well organized making items easy to find.

Large variety of products.. I purchased several ramen products along with some hot chili oil.. I will return to peruse the meat dept. very soon (left my freezer bag at home and had other stops to make)... also, they have fresh fish...

They have everything I need especially soju my favorite Korean alcohol beverage lol. A must visit store while you are in the area.

They have oysters here and accept EBT food stamps. But the downside is that the aisles are pretty small.

Lams is a fantastic resource for Southeast Asia groceries in central Phoenix that seems to focus on Mekong River cuisine.

Im very new to the area and glad theres an Asian market that carries a variety of Filipino products for just about everything I could need. From pandesal, to seasonings, and frozen tocino, snacks like Boy Bawang, Skyflakes crackers, frozen lumpia, and much, much more. They also carry a variety of other Asian products such as Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. However, thats not a comprehensive list of regional products and crowd they cater to. You can also find fresh and frozen meats along with seafood. Additionally, the staff was friendly and the store was very clean. All in all, Ill be visiting them again in the not too distant future.

Found everything we needed here to start making asian food at home. Cant wait to try more frozen foods as their dumplings were to dye for. Have tons of options and prices are fair. We will definitely be back!!

This market has been upgraded. They have more food stocks up mostly from Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, China, & Japan.

It was nice.but smaller then expected half the produce went bad after a day we got it and alot of the veggies on the shelf had gone bad. The store other then that and the meat section was well stocked and every thing was nice. I found a few things I never would have expected. I would go back but only for the dry things.

Lams well lit, wall-painted, and aisle signs make an inviting shopping experience. With their friendly service it is a 5-star Oriental market with a wide variety of seafood at affordable prices compared to the competition.

Very nice market, possibly the mother teresa of asian markets here in AZ.. also the cleanest asian market i have been to. They always have my favorite ramen noodles in stock here (samyang noodles).

They speak many languages. They helped me find everything I was looking for. I am new to cooking Asian so I dont know what I am looking for and the employees were happy and eager to help me. My new store! Clean and helpful!

Great place for getting everything you need for asian night at home.

There is a man who works in the fish case who serves you the fresh fish. Well I wont publicly post his name, however, his boss should know he treats your customers with disrespect. Each time I return to purchase fish, he sees me standing there and makes me wait 10mins to serve me,when no one else is around. I even seen him spit into someones fresh fish bag, so I wont be returning here. Please have some type of surveillance in your fresh fish case on your employees as theyre not trustworthy.

Love this place. Great for all my Japanese and Korean needs. Be sure to check dates and sometime expired products are on the selves. But where else can you get quail eggs and steamed buns.

Fresh and reasonable priced oriental vegetables and fruits. However, Im find many items without prices on items nor the shelf / boxes they are in. Its frustrating to ask cashiers for the prices to figure out which items are more cost effective or better buys.

This store has become a local favorite of mine for when I need any Asian supplies, from dishes and pans, to raw ingredients and pre-made noodles. I always buy my cooking sauces from here, soy sauce, rice vinegar, Maggie sauce, and the sorts. They also carry other ethnic food style ingredients. Fresh meats, frozen specialty products and large selection of other items.
