It isnt possible to give a poor enough review. I would like to give them a negative 5 star review. I told them that I was busy and I wanted to come in to their shop and get my windshield chip repaired. Unfortunately, they only do on site repairs. I would never allow a company to pin me down for 3 hours to wait for windshield chip to be repaired. I was told that I would be the first appointment in the morning at 8am. But they still said it might be between 8 to 11am. But the girl assured me that they would come to my house first and I should be done a 8:30am. I called at 8:15am asking if they were on their way. They seemed put out that I was asking if they were on their way. They didnt show up until 10:20 am and didnt finish the job until 10:40am. I would never allow this company to hold me hostage waiting for them again. They went against their word and it totally threw my day into havoc, getting started two hours later than they promised. My time is too valuable to waste on such a simple repair.
I had 100% satisfaction with Grayhawk Auto Glass. Their customer service far exceeded my expectations. The customer service representatives adjusted my appointment when there was a family emergency and I was not available for the original appointment. They were prompt, respectful and courteous. Expected wait time was half of another glass company. Highly recommend Grayhawk Auto Glass for your auto glass replacement needs.
I had Joey out to my house today to replace the windshield on my wifes Honda Pilot and couldnt be more pleased with this company. State Farm and Grayhawk had it replaced in less than 24 hours after we made the initial claim. Their customer service department was also outstanding and very customer oriented. Thanks again folks at Grayhawk.
Awful company. I went with them because they were what State Farm originally dispatched to have my windshield replaced. I didnt have time to watch the installer do his work the first time as I assumed all windshield companies do good work. How wrong I was. After the install my car had wind noise, but I wanted to be sure it wasnt something else in my car so I replaced my weather stripping in the doors first. Months later I finally decide to call State Farm to complain about the problem. They dispatch a guy out and he says, yeah this is an awful job so we have Grayhawk come out again to do the work. This time I stick around to watch. To my horror the guy is taking all kinds of shortcuts. He didnt pop my hood on my BMW 328i, instead he pried on my cowl to make room for the new windshield. Scraped everything under the cowl out, including pieces that shouldnt have been removed. There was a weather molding or some sort of channel that is supposed guide water to the side of the vehicle, Not only was this damaged, but it was shoved back in to the cowl which I found later during inspection with another company. The other company I took my car to found 3 of glue below my windshield because the installer essentially just slid my windshield in place since he didnt remove the cowl. Grayhawk certainly paid for this mess however. Since they damaged my cowl, rear view mirror and the molding below the windshield, they had to pay for it all per their contract with state farm. So not only did they pay for all of that, but they also paid for two windshields since they couldnt do the job right even on a followup visit. I also watched their installer get glue all over the outside of my car... then he wiped it off. It seemed like he was being vindictive since he had to come out for a warranty job. He also got glue on the inside of my door handles which he didnt wipe off and some on roof which he didnt wipe off. Fortunately I was able to wipe it all off after he left. Man what an awful company, I also submitted a formal complaint with State Farm. If the owner of the company is reading this review, maybe you should be more selective about the people you hire. Your guy Mike is a hack, unprofessional and has questionable stickers on display in his trucks toolbox.
Its a mobile-service company only. Three hour time blocks are put in place to give the technician enough time to get to the warehouse and get back to the customer, with the possibility of there being weather conditions, traffic, and other issues. In my opinion, the technicians do their best to be on time, given the circumstances. Grayhawk services 13 major cities across the United States including the surrounding cities as well. They are completely customer-focused and I have even had two of my family members use their mobile-service, and they were very satisfied as well. Grayhawk Auto Glass will always strive each and every one of my vehicles, and my family/friends as well.
Initial service left a bit to be desired. tech mike quickly replaced window, kinda vacuumed glass and left.... five days later the car door key wont work, neither will the remote, come to find out, the first tech mike broke the door lock cable... . john and chris say they will make everything right. unfortunately, the basic experience was uncomfortable, costly ( my husband stayed home from work) and all could have been avoided had technician been more responsible. follow up service was better.. a shame it had to be that way
From the moment I first called Grayhawk Auto Glass, the attitude of the girl who took the call was a dark cloud that sucked the energy of any soul in the vague vicinity of her presence. This extended to her customer service skills, with examples such as the use of snappy and boisterous conversational tone, audible displays of frustration (I swear I heard her throw something when I asked about product quality), having side conversations in spanish to someone there, and a general lack of respect for me as a customer. Her attitude was so unbelievably terrible, I began to think I was on one of those practical joke shows. Needless to say, I eventually hung up and asked my husband to get the windshield replaced for me.
Fantastic customer service. Timely installation, would never use a different company for future damages.
Maybe they would have done an excellent job. Maybe....but they never showed up or called or emailed me in the 3 hour widows of time they said they would. Oh but they called several times several hours after they missed their chance. I missed 3 hours of work to wait around for nothing. That isnt alright. Called state farm, let them know Im obviously not the only person with this issue and then went on to another glass company at the corner of eubank and menaul and got it done right...the first time...
I had my back window broken yesterday in san francisco. I called my insurance and they recommend greyhawk. The lady on the phone was very pleasant to talk to. She told me a guy named Lionel will call me when he is on his way. They said between 1 to 4. Lionel was here at 1:30pm. Lionel fixed the window and told me how long it would take. He had a positive attitude and worked quick even if it was 100 degrees outside. Over all i would recommend this company. Thanks Louis
The Grayhawk Glass located in Birmingham, Al came out to my home to install my windshield on my 2010 Honda Accord and didnt install the window correctly. The technician damaged parts to my car, installed the wrong wind shield and when I contacted the company they claimed the damage was there prior to him installing the window. When I called the company to report that the glass was not installed correctly and that the technician needed to return they advised that no one could come back out until 3 days later. Now I am left to take my car to auto body shop to have the side pillars, clips, cowl panel repaired and the wind shield installed correctly. This is not a good company at all. This company called me every week until I finally decided to allow them to do the repairs to my windshield.I hate I ever used them and will never use them again or recommend anyone else using them unless they want to have more damage done to their vehicle.
Worst customer service and service in general. Technician was beyond rude- down right offensive. Threw broken glass all over my lawn right in front of me. Said he wouldnt clean the cab of my truck out anymore than he had already done (a whole six minutes was enough for him- yes, I timed it). He then made me help him install the windshield and left. So many other offensive things he did that I cant even list. Called manager (chris) to inform him of my experience-could not have been less helpful or concerned. Right when I thought it was all over...Fast forward to the next massive rainstorm when I was out of town- windshield leaked like crazy. Whole truck is now a mold box. Called chris to inform- sorry, no techs in that area- in fact, he only had one for the whole state (guess who?). Scheduled a time for repair for when I get back into town. No show and no call. Next rain storm= mold box stage 2. Called and they said they tried to call me that the technician was in the hospital (lie- never got a voicemail or missed call). Schedule for tech again- 10-12 for next day (today). Guy came at 9, asking my wife where the leaks were while I wasnt at home (of course, he didnt bother calling me). I told her where it leaked (the whole damn thing- all four sides!).I wouldnt call this company to change a glass of water. We all have a bad day, but they are just awful everyday. How are they still in business?
This company never showed after being set up though State Farm. State Farm, and myself both called them while they were supposed to be open and no one answered. Never even called the next day to explain themselves. I went with another glass company.
Theyre awesome
