I had an awful fuel smell especially after I would fill up my tank, their diagnostic quote was $50 less than the 5 other places. Bill was outstanding and went out of his way to explain things. They fixed a crack on a part on my fuel tank and it ended up being less than they predicited due to my fuel pump working fine. I would 100% go back. I was referred here by my partner who loved the mechanics and their honesty. I came for an oil change and they informed me I should also perform a brake fluid flush and estimated when I would need to purchase new tires. They provided me with a ride to/from my apartment which is nearby and I appreciated this as I otherwise would have had to spend $ on a cab.Friendly mechanics who did exactly what I needed and didn’t pressure for more as other places often do! I shall first clarify that somewhere in the murky depths of online reviews is a 5 star post by me. Since posting that review I was seduced by the dealership and its enticing coupons for free oil changes and bumper to bumper, 150 point inspections, coffee, fruit and TV in the waiting area. I succumbed and cheated on 25th Street Automotive. After only two (really awful) encounters with the diablo dealership, I apologetically returned to 25th Street and confessed my error.Im not a car idiot, and serviced my own vehicles since I was 16. The best way to ensure I would not return for business would be to try and sell me a repair that was not needed, or bs me about my vehicle. 25th has never recommended a service I didnt need or overlooked something that was needed. As always, they did the work needed at a fair price, advised of future services that will be required and, maybe I imagined this, but it did appear my windshield was cleaned inside and out and the floors and seats vacuumed. Perhaps it was the new light in my eyes.Bottom line, with the exception of my capricious, ill advised ways, Ive taken my vehicles to 25th Street Automotive since 2016. I will never cheat on them again.

Awesome guys! Being away home gets tough especially not knowing who to take your vehicle too. They are super close to my apartment so I thought why not give them a try. They diagnosed a suspension problem with my ‘02 xterra but unfortunately could not do the work but ended up referring a great shop that I can take it too, so when it was time to get my new vehicle inspected after purchasing they were the first ones in mind! Called them up and Tom got me in the books to get my new ‘12 xterra checked out! Gave me a run down of what needed to get fixed even had my vehicle ready before time frame! THEY DO NOT PRESSURE YOU AT ALL! They let me know that I should be looking at getting some new tires (I had already ordered some but the fact they checked on them even though they do not work on tires is awesome!) I already have a list of things I need them to do next but going to add a few miles and enjoy this new beast before heading back for my oil change!Thanks for everything guys!

So I set up an appointment with this company over the phone, the man was very condescending, and made me feel terrible about the maintenance of my car.I have not driven the car very much and have been experiencing problems rather recently but it is a fairly old car. However, when I explained a problem that I encountered today where it was sputtering and wouldnt accelerate I was hoping he might be able to know what might have caused it and where to look. He said to me well its working now, and no mechanic could find where something happened, if its not happening nowI understand that a problem could be hard if not impossible to diagnose but considering it impeded my ability to drive I would like at least to look into possible causes.I proceeded to ask if maybe there was a place the mechanics could look into like a full inspection he said there was but it would cost me upwards of $x amount. I said thats fine.He then proceeded to ask me about if I had taken it to a local shop I work within a mile of this establishment and live within 2 miles.And this was just over the phone I would hate to meet him in person. They may do excellent work on cars but I felt the man over the phone was not professional nor courteous to a potential customer. I certainly would not trust my car with them.

This mechanic shop was not honest with what their knowledge was on repairing some damage. I had to bring my vehicle back to get fixed multiple times. Before they agreed to fix it the gentleman tried to say it was due to user error and it was normal wear until my husband said noand the mechanic recanted and said he would fix it. I will never go back.Absolutely devastated that I paid two shops for the same work months apart when I shouldve had my warrenty honored.It is also ironic that they claim to want good history of repairs to better assist you with the shop you had gone to previously however when this exact situation was reversed and they messed up on some work another shop corrected thier mistake to which they wont honor or even ask for the slip from said shop.

I have been all over the valley and have finally found a shop I trust. so often you feel like youre being upsold at the last minute but I know a little bit about cars myself so usually know if something is a legit concern or not. Their diagnosis of everything was 100% spot on - nothing unnecessary - and no pressure. Its a rare trait when dealing with mechanics. Add to it the staff was super friendly, and they were able to get a lot of work completed in a reasonably short amount of time.

They answer all my questions, never upsell and are quick to callout when a service is not needed. They once alerted me that soon the shocks will need to be replaced and at what cost so I could plan ahead... Two years later, they said theyre still not to the point of needing replacement yet. I love that they didnt take my money and replace them unnecessarily.They also offer a shuttle service if you work or live nearby which has been so convenient.While most mechanics take longer than they originally estimate, this place has always finished on time or earlier.Very friendly, trustworthy, good quality. Ive been taking my cars here for 5 years and will continue to do so.

1st time using 25th St Auto and I am beyond pleased with the repair and the service I received. I made the appointment online, but the email confirmation letting me know they needed to push the appointment back a few days went to my spam folder. I showed up on the original day and they still managed to fit me in. I had my car back the next day. My AC is running great. I was looking for a new shop and I will be returning to them without hesitation for my next service needs.

Two qualities I value most in a mechanic are expertise and integrity. You get both in spades with the guys at 25th St. Been going for over 10 years since they fixed an issue I had for which another expert shop wanted an extra $1000 with some unnecessary procedures. They have often talked me into using cheaper options, meaning they could have gouged me and they were always correct.Also, recently my brakes had an issue that it would be clear was fixed until it stopped raining. My car battery died and every shop in the area was closing and i was stranded in a parking lot. they happened to be down the street and they were nice enough to come by and jump the battery so i was able to drive up to autozone for a new battery. it’s the little things, i could not thank them enough.

Very professional, quick and trustworthy. Two years ago we took our Honda CRV to the Honda dealership after we were having issues starting the car. The dealership gave us a repair estimate for over $2,500. We took it in to 25th Street Automotive and they said it was only the battery and installed a new one for us. Great customer service. Drive shaft repair was over priced. A new drive shaft cost about $600, which they said I could not get, and instead they rebuilt my old one for $1000 which includes paint, 3 u joints and a balance.

25th Street Automotive is known for their honesty and integrity, being a BBB International Ethics award winner. So I knew I could trust them with my Lexus. What I didnt know is all the extras they include in their oil change, that sets them apart even further! I bought new tires a while ago from Discount Tire, but did not have a chance to get them rotated yet. When I picked up my car from my oil change, I was happily surprised that during their free inspection, they noticed the need for tire rotation, and did that for me at no charge. They even cleaned my windshield, and made sure all areas touched were disinfected. Thank you Bill and team for being a Top Shop!!

I arrived from out of town to drop my son at university and ran into car problems. 25th Street Automotive was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue so my son would have a functional car after I left town.

Have used them several times over the years for many reasons. Im a planner for my repairs or maintenance work so its usually not a casual thing. However- in December my Durango developed an oil leak and I was bracing for the bad news when they called with the best news ever! I will never go back to a quick lube or fast oil change place again. The oil leak was from the filter not being put on tight. I got the oil changed ( leak fixed) & spent all the money I thought I was going to spend on full tuneup & transmission filters and break checks. Happy camper status! Just got all my shocks done recently. Great crew there! You can trust them.

I tried to take my car in twice to have the brakes changed, but they told me I still had 60% left on my pads. They could have easily just changed the brakes and collected my money, but they didnt.

Its very hard to find such good people who are calm, simple and honest. My friend reffered me and I was abosultely amazed by how simple Bill and his team makes it to understand the repairs. They are top notch yet simple. My SUV recently had an engine light on and Bill checked it and suggested a trade rather than repair. He could have easily made few thousand dollars rather he just took the inspection fee and cautioned me at the right time. Thank you so much for your help and honesty. A customer for ever.
