They are very friendly and are willing to go out of their way to accommodate you.I had about $4000 worth of things according to my dealership of what was wrong with my vehicle. I was able to call into brake masters and get a comparable with the exact same issues and they saved me almost $2000!!!You cant beat that along with an extended warranty that my dealership wasnt able to offer me past 3 months and brake masters had the warranty for a year to 18 months.

For starters, its hardly ever super busy. So if you need that last minute oil change, this location is a good one to go to and not worry about a long wait time. Most importantly, the staff here is great! Friendly and helpful, and will honor the best coupons for any applicable services.

This shop fried to charge me $960 for front brake jobs on my Honda Accord. I decided to take it to Honda dealer and it costs me only $285-10% discount. Stay away from this shop or it’ll rip you off.

I have used this Brake Masters several times before in the past but I will never use them again. I went in to get my Brakes done,I dropped my car off on Saturday at Noon and when I returned to pick up my car it was making noises that it wasnt making when I dropped it off. Since they werent able to fix the problem on Saturday I returned on Monday and arrived at 7:30am when they opened. I was waiting for 6 hours before they even started working on my car. They also told me I needed $3,000 worth of repairs,so I took it to the Dealership to get a second opinion and they told me I didnt need any of those things. I wouldnt trust these guys to walk my dog so if I were you I would stay away from this place.

Alex is a great technician! He worked diligently and painstakingly pinpointed the electrical issue on my car. A lesser tech would have just started replacing parts. Not Alex. He wanted his diagnosis to be right.Id also like to commend David. He was wonderful in his communication both on the diagnostic findings as well as the explanation of the repair and costs associated. I came in for brakes because they were squealing. Chris was up front and told me they would do a inspection of the brakes to see what was wrong.They found that they were almost new and he gave me 2 options. He said because they were not due yet. DO NOT GO HERE! My mom took her car in for a simple oil change. Now her car is making an awful loud noise and pulling when it didnt before she took it. Seems highly suspicious that they suggested a $1200 fix to her struts when she never had any issues before. They told her to bring her car back but why would she after they messed her car up already. Not trustworthy. Not fair and not the way to do business. Will never return and will tell others to stay clear!

Every time I come into this location they are so friendly. They never suggest anything I dont need and always ALWAYS provide information on the parts I do need. They are fair, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ive been to other brake masters where they tell me I need brake pads, when I dont actually need them. This location has never suggested anything I dont need. A special thanks to Michelle who gave me some extra info on good windshield wipers.

Received an oil change. They told me my rotters were bad, then after me saying I just purchased the car they came back and said I just need new brakes and my rotters weren’t bad. .. so now my battery is dead which I get my car checked often at auto zone. On top of them doing the inspection with nothing to mention about my battery charge being low. I was a loyal customer me and my family had got my cars fixed there several times In the past disappointed I wouldn’t recommend going there. Can’t be trusted.

My wife went here for an oil change. They definitely saw her coming. They talked her into replacing the belts and when she cranked it, they squealed. When she asked why, mechanic said its because the power steering pump is leaking. But heres the thing, out of the long list of things to be replaced, the steering pump wasnt on there.Let the buyer be warned. Stay away from this place.

I had them look at my vehicle just to see if there was anything they could find or suggest. After a lil bit they brought me out and showed me that me car was leaking from the struts and steering gear. I told them that I didnt have the money to fix it, but Chris asked if I had an extended warranty. Then i remembered I did and to both of our surprise the warranty company said yes to the repairs and I only had to pay my deductible!!!!!!! Soooo thankful Chris said something......

I made an appointment online for Brake Service but swung by an hour and a half before my scheduled time. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They were prompt, polite and even offered a bottle of cold water to everyone who came in. The work was efficient and quick. I’ve been to this shop many times but this was probably my best experience and the prices were fair. If you ever have an issue bring it to the attention of Sam, he’s the Store Manager and he’ll bend over backwards to make it right.

David always has a great attitude, super honest polite and friendly, I have never had this level of customer care and personalized service. Fast and no hidden fees, definitely my to go for all my car services.

NO MASKS insideTheir website said they follow CDC and WHO recommendations to prevent the spread of Covid19 but the guy behind the counter inside didnt have a mask, customers didnt have masks and I got attitude when I asked for 6 feet so I could sign for my vehicle.

I had to replace my brakes and Sam, the manager was very kind, explained everything and made sure I was at ease. The very next day the power steering went out. It was a week later but when I brought my car in early that morning and they found it would take all day, they gave me a ride home. I would never have expected this from a shop. The staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable and take care of my only car. I would (and have) recommend this Brake Masters for excellent work and service!!

These guys work very hard and do a great job! This time I required new brake pads,new front rotors, an intake manifold and an oil change. They coordinated the delivery of the intake manifold from the dealer and completed all the above repairs in about 3 hours.About a year prior I required a new oil pan and gasket which they did a great job with as well. Never once have I had to return for any sort of follow up for a repair theyve made. Complete confidence in the competency of the staff here.

I love this place. They are always fast and thorough. I send all my company cars to them. I even send my personal car and I always recommend family and friends. I trust Kenny and his team. They dont try and scam you like other places. They are honest and kind. Recently my company was bought out by another company. The new company wanted to change to a different repair shop. I refused to send the cars anywhere else. I fought tooth and nail to keep going to this particular Brake Masters. After proving several times over that Kennys store is cheaper and better they finally decided to allow me to continue using them. I came in with a a/c issue(fixed they replace compressor and some lines). came out with a mass air flow sensor fault. which actually prevented my car from starting. since it just came from them I was going to take it back to them and have them fix the issue for free(due to not being there before). unfortunately my car did not start so I had to tow it 20 miles to that location (would not pay for tow). then they did not fix the mass air flow issue even though I noted thats why I was bringing it in. I asked about it when picking it up and they said that it is all good. a day later the car would not start. I had to order a sensor myself and replace it (10 minute thing 40$ part) replaced it and all good. I think they are removing the negative from the battery and resetting the ECU before even trying to read the fault codes already present. I will not return.

Sam is absolutely awesome. Had a really bad vibration on the freeway and I thought my axle was bad or tires were out of balance. I’ve always had warped rotors in the front so he recommended I get them replaced along with new pads and the vibration is completely gone. If you get vibration on the freeway and it’s not any other components or tires it might be your rotors. On top of that they got me in last minute before they closed without an appointment. Thanks Sam the service was great and I will be back.

At 50,000 miles a mechanic told me i needed to replace my brake pads. I took my truck to Brake Masters who told me the brakes were fine and NO work was needed.At 105,000 miles I expected my brake pads to be far more worn than reasonable and thought I was going to have to pay for more than just brake pads. I bought my vehicle new and had never changed the brake pads and thought that I was long overdue. Brake masters could have told me that I needed new pads or even needed more than just brake pads and I would have believed them and paid them. I was shocked when the guy came back and told me that my brake pads were only 50 percent worn, considering they were the original brake pads that came with the truck from the factory! HONESTY & INTEGRITY will keep me coming back to Brake Masters for a LONG time. This is my second experience like this with them.

Tried to double charge my credit card. I had my brake pads replaced here - that went well. BUT, one year later they attempted to charge my card again for the service and claimed to the credit card company that they had trouble billing the transaction initially in order to try and slip it by.

Came here and dropped off my vehicle for general brake problems, and i ended up fixing a few more things because they are so readily available here as far as services. Not only were they professional here, but helped me out with reccomendationa for future fixed. Although my vehicle needs more services, they didnt pressure me into trying to do it all at once and were awesome in explaining a financial plan upon my returns. Definitely recommend this place for an expedient and proper service.

I started asking questions and he got flustered and was really confusing to try and understand him. Never coming back. $200 down the drain. I didnt want to even date this place 1 star. I give them 0 stars.

I took my car in for an oil change, brakes and belts, and they were thorough and great. When I left, I heard a strange sound and drove it right back. It was a minor thing, and they corrected it right away with no fuss. Found my new mechanic.

I’ve been coming to this Break Masters for years. I always have a great experience. One time I won a free oil change. This most recent experience, I was quoted one price and when I came back it was lower by a hundred dollars. They continue to earn my business.

Went in for oil change. They said a tire rotation is free and included so I thought why not. Afterwards the guy says that someone, before them, cross-threaded my wheel-lugs before and they did not want the mechanic to put this one single lug back on. They claim it was someone before them. Now the only people I had pull my tires off was Discount Tire. However, when I checked the threads myself, there was only cross-threading at the start of the stud and there were no new threads present on the entire wheel stud (as it would be when you cross thread.) I decided to take my business back to Discount Tire and Alex and his team fixed the problem with no charge. He also mentioned that that was not the only wheel-lug damaged. Brake Masters has lost my business. For the amount I paid, I can go to a dealership and guarantee the work.

Very disappointed with my Brake Masters experience. Not friendly, no eye contact or acknowledgment when customers walked in. No regard for covid safety or customers time.

Completely over priced. Not sure where they get there parts but each control arm they charged was 375 dollars and the job ended up running a 1000 dollars. Also was pressured into doing the job as he said he called the guy already to get the part. Didnt finish the job told me to come back next Saturday and never bothered to call me back to finish the allotment. He gave me a military discont and took it away but adding a extra 30 dollars in tax. TAKE your Car SOMEWHERE else.

Never Ever Ever take your vehicle to this location or Brake Masters period. Went in for a standard oil change. I get the car back and the system in my car was changed. Over the holiday weekend my battery died. Took it to the dealership they advised because my system was changed it caused my battery to die so I had to get a new battery. After telling Brake Masters what happened they failed to acknowledge their negligence. Even after being presented with a diagnostic from the dealership. If u take your vehicle here you will be making a mistake

So in all fairness they had to replace my coolant quick connects on my truck. Had it towed by recommendation of tow truck driver. I dont think I would ever return. Communication from them was poor. I always had to call them.Took a bit longer than expected and i called 5 minutes after they opened Saturday morning and no one was there yet. Also price was a bit steep. Could have driven and done a parking lot fix for the price of a gallon of coolant. I was lazy and my laziness cost me money. In hindsight I would go elsewhere or fix it myself.

Good at customer service BUT not at work. I came few times to do brakes, change it and fix again. Other one, i changed the Thermostat housing. I just found one of screw loosing.

These guys were AMAZING! Im engine-illiterate and was told by the dealership in which I purchased my SUV from (Power Nissan in Tempe, by the way) that I HAD to change my brake pads NOW, unless I wanted to put myself and my entire family at risk. Since they wanted to charge me over $300 to do this, I shopped around and ran across Brake Masters. At the time, I was also due for an oil change, so I scheduled one, along with a brake pad evaluation. I was fully prepared to shell out for new brake pads, but instead, I learned that one was not necessary. The mechanic, who was very knowledgeable and kind hearted, informed me that the current condition of the brake pads did NOT warrant the need to be changed. Im smart in many areas, but cars is definitely not one of them. I am eternally grateful to have encountered such a great group of individuals in the auto industry who are worthy of trust. When I do need brake pads, or anything else for that matter, I am going there! (Mechanics name: Johnathon...A fellow Toyota owner!)

I had a leaking brake on my 1976 Land Cruiser. Brought it in around 9 am and was told by Kenny that it would take between 1.5 and 2 hours to get the parts and if I was OK with that since I had to wait for it. Told him it was fine. I also asked for an oil, filter, and lube since I had a coupon. I went shopping at nearby and received a call that my brake pads were soaked and should be replaced. I agreed and asked for a military discount. Kenny said he would throw in the oil change and lube for free. From there it turned into a comedy of errors with the parts. None of it was the fault of the staff at Brake Masters. They were very courteous and apologetic. After 5.5 hours my vehicle was ready. When I got in and started to drive off, the brake pedal went to the floor. I brought it back and talked to the tech who worked on the vehicle and he said it was fine. I told him it wasnt like that before and he told me that he did the best he could. He told me to bring it back and they would try to adjust it. After I got home I noticed that the vehicle had not been lubed. I called and talked to Mike and he said the tech must of missed it and to bring it back. Since it took so long to have it fixed in the first place, I wasnt excited about returning and have to wait again. I expected that it be done right the first time. The next day I noticed oil on my driveway. When I looked under the vehicle there considerable amount of oil that was not cleaned up after the change that was dripping. I took the time and bleed the brakes and now they feel like they did before I brought them in. I understand the delay in getting my vehicle fixed because of their supplier, what I dont understand is the lack of caring and attention to detail.

Prices seem to be higher than most other similar shops. The guy offered an additive to help detect an oil leak location, yet not once ever attempted to setup a time for me to return for inspection to find the leak. Also attempted to explain something to me that I already understood and he gave me incorrect information.

. I got my alignment done there. I got an appointment on the same day. They even honored my coupon, even though I didnt have it on me. Good service. They even looked up and asked me if I wanted additional work done, as I was due for an oil change. I had to decline as I was short on time.

THANK YOU! Driving from Tucson to Phoenix, I was rear ended on I-10 and pulled into the first place I found to make sure everything was ok. They were friendly, got me in quickly, said it was okay and charged me nothing. They could have taken advantage and screwed me over but not at all. We used to love Brake Masters, but since January 2017, its gone downhill. We had our car in near-weekly for the same problem. It never got fixed, they never offered me a rental or loaner car, and I would end up sitting in their waiting room for seven or eight hours, with no updates other than just a few more minutes, every 15-30 minutes for 3+ hours. We found a new mechanic.

Took my Camry there for a simple alignment and two times of sitting for over an hour and still isnt correct. The mechanic will get an attitude with you for correcting him while a white shirt manager tells you everything is perfect. Perfect lol worst service!

I walked right in and got my oiled changed....was across the street at sun devil auto and they told me I would have to wait 24 hours and make an appointment smh

Dan or Dave needs to work on his people skills. I forgot my lock key for my tires at home and he had the audacity to tell me that I needed to keep my tire lock key in my truck (in a rude way.) Keeping the key in the vehicle is the dumbest thing you can possibly do. I did that and somebody broke into my vehicle and took the key and stole my $4000 tires!!! Prices for brakes services are a bit high but my main issue was the customer service.

Girlfriend took her car in for brakes and the brakes DO NOT work. First, they left grease everywhere. They didnt bother to wash their hands before they got in the car. Idiots! They tested it around the parking lot and of course the brakes work at 20 mph. They argued everything was fine but when I was driving down the highway and had to make a sudden stop the car did not slow like it should. I had to swerve to the right to keep from hitting some one. DO NOT use these guys! Unprofessional people and unprofessional work and unprofessional customer service! Too bad I have to give them 1 start because they deserve negative stars!

I asked for tires to be rotated with the oil change. When I dropped my car off, I marked the rear tire to verify rotation. When I came back, I saw it was not rotated. I let the tech know and he assured me it was rotated. I had to show him the marking I made. He did the research and found out they had another odyssey similar to mine that got the rotation instead of mine? ? Hmmm. Sounded fishy. I gave them 4 stars anyway because the manager gave me credit for a free oil change which I thought was appropriate.

Terrible customer service. Went in for an express oil change and they tried up selling for the more advanced oil change. Halfway through the oil change, they tried up selling me AGAIN to other services that needed to get taken care of today (even though they told me with the express oil change they wont do any inspections- just strictly the oil change) and still kept pushing for me to get it taken care of even though I declined. I shouldve just went next door to Sun Devil Auto. I will never go back to Brake Masters.

After removing my breaks they then brought me the parts and told me I needed all new calipers for my car. This was a bit of a show and done very dramatically. They could have just told me and I could have made a decision and been on my way.

They will tell you that you need new rotors when you dont. Go somewhere else. If thats not an option dont believe their lies.

On 03/25/2017 I brought in my 2013 Ford Fiesta vehicle to Brake Master (store # 128) to have my brakes inspected. Their mechanic reported that my front brakes would need to be replaced and both left and right front rotors would need to be resurfaced. I agreed to the services.On 06/03/2017 I brought my vehicle back to Brake Masters (store # 128) complaining that every time I press on the brakes my vehicle would shake and make noises. After their mechanic inspected my brakes he concluded that the brakes pads were in good working order but both of my front rotors would need to be replaced. I discuss this issue with the store manager (Mike). I explained to Mike it seems unusual that my front rotors would go bad after two and half months of driving. I express to Mike that it appeared that the rotors should have been replaced back in March when my vehicle was service or his mechanic took too much off the front rotors when he resurfaced it. Mike stated to me that since you are an expert on brake pads and rotors I should know that the Arizona heat and my driving habits can have caused my rotors to go bad”. I express to him that I was not an expert but had some knowledge on how brake pads and rotors can wear down over time. I express to him that I did not appropriate him mocking me. He informed that his mechanic did nothing wrong and that my brake pads were in good shape but would need my front rotors replaced. He quoted me $300 to $400 to replace my rotors. I express to him after our conversation I did not trust him or his mechanics to work on my vehicle. I informed him that I will take my vehicle to a mechanic at a Ford dealership for a second opinion.On 06/05/2017 I brought my vehicle to Jonesford Dealership in Casa Grande to have a mechanic inspect my brake pads and rotates. I explained to the mechanic the problems I was having with my brakes and that it serviced through Brake Masters. I asked him to inspect my brakes and give me his opinion regarding my brake problems. The mechanic reported back to me in writing stating “performed brake inspection mechanical and hydraulic. Detected poor brake performance after isolating both axles. Removed calipers and bled free of air and found improper front pad placement. Reinstall pads to correct position. Reinstalled caliper RS and road test. Brakes operate normal however rotors were warped. Removed front rotors and replaced. Road test. All OK”.

I have had nothing but great service and excellent car care from the guys at Brake Masters. They do great work.

Good customer service, especially Chris, great guy. However, I paid more than what I should have. They told me their rotors and pads were superior to the 50.00 version for rotors and 25 dollar pads. Got the repair bill, paid it, saw that they used Bendix brand rotors and pads, looked them up online, 50 dollars for each rotor, 25 dollars for a set of pads. All in all, for front brakes on a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer ES I paid 385 before taxes. Assuming 2 hours of labor at 80 an hour, and total for parts (50+50 for rotors, 25 for pads, 80 x 2 hours = $285, plus tax 0f 10% out the door for just over $300). I am assuming the extra pork is for the lifetime warrenty on pads, so 20k miles from now I can come in and get 25 pads for free, but im betting they will still charge labor to put them on. Not a competitive price to your local mechanic.I will be taking my bill to other places just to see how badly I actually got overcharged and then contacting the owner.

Ive used these guys before for suspension work & they had the car done early & beat everyone elses price. The last time I went in I was truly impressed. I was cut-off & spun out taking a nasty curb. I took my car in for an alignment & they took took readings, analyzed the car, & then called me stating they didnt want to do the alignment because something else was wrong outside of their scope. They explained it to me & I grasped what they were saying, but I asked them to do the alignment anyways as it was my everyday driver & I just wanted to buy some time. When I went to pick the car up they gave me a detailed sheet with the measurements they took, said they didnt to the alignment even though I asked because they didnt want to take my money because in a week it was going to be all messed up again. That made me smile & instilled some trust. Most places look for a way to screw you for an extra dime or nickel & yet these guys refused to do the service I OKd after they told me it was a moot point because they said theyd just be taking my money & thats not their style. Ill be bringing all 3 of my cars back there now!! An honest shop, whoo hoo!! Diamond in the rough!!

I Went in to get my oil change on saturday afternoon and I was told I would have to pick up my car Monday afternoon. Chris the manager told me that they were backed up and had 5 cars ahead of me . I didnt see any cars in the shop so I thought I would see whats going on .I parked in the parking lot at jcpenny and for the next half hour all I saw was mechanics mopping and sweeping floors. So I called in to tell them I have a brake and a transmission flush they said come in we have availablity for you right now. What a scum bag and a crook Chris is, he deserves to be fired . Just cause an oil change dont make you that much money doesnt mean you have to lose a customer. I will never go to this place again. DO NOT TRUST THE MANAGEMENT
