Piercing checkup/downsize experience:I really enjoyed the personal time to talk about the place I had originally gone to get my piercings (nostril and rook) looked at since the other place took 2 seconds too look at my piercings and said I was good when the nostril jewlary was obviously too big and needed down sizing at week 5 (kept spinning around in my nose) and they told me no (even after I booked and paid for an appointment). ANYWAYS, its now week 6 seeked out a new place found this one on APP site. Was closest to my home and I really liked the creative name and the jewlary selection. He helped me downsize and change my my nostril from a cork screw style to a Labret and helping downsize the labret bars for my second lobes and mid ear piercing. I am beyond pleased with a proper fitted jewlary! Thank you for helping me get properly fitted bars & double checking the rook and reassuring me its doing good. 😊Also had him verify my ear drawing plan for future piercings and helped me confirm I can do all my future plan holes! Cant wait!!

I cant recommend Kevin enough! I dont even know where to start and how to convey how much of an amazing piercer and human being he is, but here is my try at it. I have been going to him for the past 4/5 years. The care and passion that he puts into his craft can be felt in very little thing he does, such an example is that when you go, you must ask him about the creation of his studio. He really couldnt have picked a better name for it, with Kevin you get nothing less than quality.He has really listened to what I want and made sure it was safe. Throughout the healing process whatever question or concerns I had he would take care of them fully, no matter how trivial they were. Even long after your piercing heals he will continue treat you with the same care. I have had him help me create custom jewelry and have sent all my friends to him.I have been to other piercers, ones in different countries even, and Kevin is just in a class of his own. I will be going to him and no one else for as long has he will have me in his care!His studio is upstanding, especially during Covid I had still felt incredibility safe inside. He is by appointment and only sees one person at a time, masks and gloves are worn and everything is sanitized before and after you leave.

Kevin at Wholehearted piercing was AMAZING! This was my first time coming here for a nostril piercing by a friends recommendation and it was the best decision I ever made. I usually go to HTC or Halo but lately their staffs rudeness has turned me off from them. I saw Wholehearted was still doing nostril b/c Halo wasnt at the moment due to the pandemic so I decided to book it. He gave me pricing on different types of jewelry, why some pieces would work and others wouldnt, personal tips for after care, and explanations on it all. He was friendly, answered all of the questions that I had and made me feel super comfortable in the space. He doesnt try to upsell you on jewelry or aftercare products even though he has them available, he truly cares about you & your piercing. I have about 15 piercings all done at HTC or Halo but my nostril done at Wholehearted was my favorite. This is my new spot! I am returning a week later for a new helix. Thank you Kevin!

Kevin was incredible. I went in for a nose piercing and my two daughters got their ears done (they are 9 and 12). He was SO patient and fun and engaging with them. We were there for at least two hours and the environment was welcoming and comfortable and totally low pressure. I am sorry, this review should’ve been posted a while ago. Especially since I low key stalked Kevin for years. I have wanted to get this piercing for years. I did tons of research before going (I highly recommend The Piercing Bible for info). This was not a total whim. More like I had to work the courage. Kevin was absolutely amazing. I had finally worked up the courage to call and of course it was close to closing :( My friend was in town from Seattle and leaving before the shop opened again. Kevin said he would wait for us.When we got there the first thing I noticed was how clean and open the shop was. It has an art gallery feel to it. Kevin explained everything with great detail. More importantly he didn’t rush us. Really, I would’ve understood if he did. He waited for us well after closing. He made me feel really comfortable. Everyone has their own pain tolerance, I feel like mine is kinda on the low side. With that said it was did not hurt that much.I cannot say enough positive things about this amazing experience!! Kevin is one of my favorite people on this planet. He has done my three pericigs I have and will be doing more. Ive been going to him since the last place he worked at, and recently got my nipple bars changed out at his new shop. He is the more caring and most fun person ever. I loovveeee Kevin and his work! If you had a really bad experience getting pierced, but still want a cute piercing, GO TO HIM! I had a really bad experience and didn’t think I was going to get another piercing after that, but after seeing him, I have 4 more lol! He’s has such a sweet and welcoming soul and his work is, honestly, art. Not only will you gain a piercer, you’ll gain a friend.

Got my first piercing ever here. Kevin was amazing and very kind. Walked me through the whole process and had very good convo with him. The piercing itself was not too painful and was pretty quick to get. I would definently reccomend coming here 100%.
