All I gotta say is shorty is really really good! Definitely go and try for yourself i know I wasnt disappointed at all been going here since they first opened so you tell me if that doesnt say anything.

At first I thought the sandwich they handed me was small for 9 dollars. Once I opened and began eating it there was so much meat I could not finish the whole thing. Great service and amazing food. Will go again and will recommend to friends and family.

Love my Shortys! They have good soup as well. I dont always get my state discount but when I do, its cheaper. Seriously though, its fresh and tasty! Also, not expensive at all.

Have only been here twice but so far the food has been very good! Service is a little slower but it is probably due to them hand crafting every part of the sub to a point. By slower I mean it was roughly a 5-10 minute wait for my sub. Highly recommend!

I was ordering from Mels Melts but what we got through grub hub came from Shortys Sandwich shop. What a disappointment to say the least. We ordered 1 roast beef melt and two avocado melts. The sandwiches start out looking nothing like the pictures, completely devoid of the Melty Yellow Cheddar as described. The avocado was basically guacamole and bread while the roast beef was dry and rubbery with a dollop of what i will consider to be mayonnaise. At $11.00 per sandwich what a disappointment. Dont order from Mels because your going to get Shortys anyway. Here is the advertised sandwich and what we got, you be the judge....certainly doesnt deserve the star...

There was supposed to be a picture of a huge turkey sub with bacon added to this review but it seems to have disappeared before my own eyes. I think it was so good, I may have inhaled it. I walked it, ordered, and it was done in less than 5 minutes. That’s what I call instant gratification.

Great sandwiches, and cheap for what you get. I would also highly recommend the jalapeno chips they sell.

This gem of sandwich shop is tucked in, just off broadway street. It can be easy to miss but just look for it. They have variety of premium sandwiches and the service is always fast. I highly recommend them.

It was fair my sister got an over cooked Microwaved Breakfast sand. And they dont serve coffee. I got an Itallion was ok. But really mostly ham on it. No seasoning but it did have plenty meat and bread was soft so it is filling. The Shop is clean and staff are nice.

Service is consistently good. feels like a cafe in phoenix that i enjoyed visiting.

Very good and reasonable prices. If you like AZ Sandwich Co you will like Shortys. Taste and style is almost identical but I think Shortys is a little cheaper.

The staff is always really friendly and the wait isn’t bad during peak lunch hours. I find their bread to be a bit on the sweet side and too soft for my liking but the rest of the ingredients make up for that. Definitely will go back and try some other sandwiches.

If you’re like me, there’s nothing better than a delicious sub on fresh baked bread, loaded with fresh meat and veggies. Shortys gets it! I got the Phoenix sub, which came with turkey, roast beef, bacon, and avocado. The girl taking my order was kind and helpful. On the sandwich, I appreciated that they used real fresh cut avo, rather than a pre-made spread like some sandwich chains do. You could tell the bread was fresh, and it was soft and delicious- almost a little sweet too. I’m always looking for great local sandwich shops, and this definitely makes the cut!

So much to say about this amazing place, not only are the subs the best ones I have ever eaten but the staff here are so nice and friendly, well dressed, and always helping to pick out the best sandwich that sounds good (which is every sandwich here). The sandwiches are so well prices and you get so much forever you pay for. The owners are very kind and I very highly recommend this place for anyone who loves subs as much as I do. I am not from Arizona, visit once a year and every year I come here for almost ever meal will I am on vacation. I am from Indiana and I wish we had such delicious subs here. Top notch sandwich shop they always have fresh ingredients and the customer service is top notch. I have never had an issue and am always impressed with the selection. Price is excellent and overall value is better than any other place in town. I have never seen this place empty but Ive never had to wait long for food. Definitely a must try if you havent already.

Went today for the first time. I am new to AZ, and the #8 turkey bacon & avocado was EASILY the best sandwich i have had in a while. I mean come on, was that fresh baked bread? Wow. This place is flat out incredible. All of the subs come piled high with at least 4 ounces of meat. Very easy to customize your order with all of your favorite toppings. Arizonas best kept secret! I eat here at least three times a week, and I dont even live that close!

Very easy to drive past as you’re coming down Broadway but definitely worth trying out. Sandwiches taste so fresh and you can tell the bread is fresh too. I just wish they would punch my card even when I don’t want a combo! :)

Shortys sandwiches are the BEST subs i have ever had! The special dressing really sets them apart from the competition and the prices are the best around. They offer the most quality sandwich at the best price...why go anywhere else? The staff is awesome...friendly and helpful!

My girlfriend brought leftovers home from work. The subs had sat in the car awhile and were kinda warm from the heat outside. I bit into one. I leaned back in disbelief. I ate another bite. Then another. I look over “ where did you get this?” Shortys she says. “ Well this is the best sub I have ever eaten” Seriously the flavor explodes in your mouth. Wow.

Sandwiches are good. Also there is a breakfast burrito that I recommend if you like chorizo, the burritos name is El Jefe

This is the sister store to the Arizona Sandwich Company down the street. Their bread is so so soft, which for me can make or break a sandwich for me. The sandwiches are somewhat no frills, but they are delicious. Just last week, I tried the breakfast burrito. It was big and tasty. My only complaint is that I came in for the croissant breakfast sandwich, but they were out of croissants. I then asked to substitute a bagel, but they were out of those, too! The burrito was my only choice. I cant fully remember, but I think they were out of something the last time I went there, too. Anyway, tasty food, but needs to work on making sure their stock is replenished appropriately.

Shortys has turned into my go-to lunch spot. The subs are always fantastic, in fact, just got my free lunch today! The staff is always positive and upbeat and the sandwichs cant be beat! Acapulco and AZ Philly are where its at!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TEAM!

Homey, simple operation that aims to provide classic sandwiches at a low cost and as quickly as possible. Also provides chips, sodas, side dishes and salads. Great spot for a quick lunch. Also provides breakfast in the mornings- I recommend the croissant.

We picked up a catering order today. The counter persons were helpful and friendly. The sandwiches were awesome, as was the mac salad and caesars salad. Came with plenty of condiments and cookies. We are very satisfied with their service. We will be back for the great food and service.Thank you.

Its delicious! The line at lunch can be long, but the wait time after ordering isnt bad. You can do lunch here for about $10 (sandwich, drink and chips), which is good for those on a budget. Only complaint is the line to order can move really slow.

Food is great but after meeting the owner and his arrogance today I will not return. I buy lunch for my company frequently from here and after today I will not. He talked down about how his employees were taught wrong because they had great customer service and this guy does not. Im very surprised the people there are so nice and helpful when the owner is not pleasant at all. Will not be returning or recommending anymore.

This place is my favorite sandwich place in this area. It stacks up to other sandwich places in the valley as well, but is definitely king of all lunch spots in the neighborhood. Sandwiches are fresh, taste good and come out quickly. It gets busy at 12, and parking can be tight.
