I keep saying, I cant believe it. Baker Brothers is amazing. For 20 years I put up with an extremely uneven concrete floor in my master bedroom. (The result of a remodel by the previous homeowner. Long story.) But Baker Brothers came in and leveled it all out and installed the most beautiful wood flooring. Im very grateful to Steve at the Camelback location who worked everything out, from flooring choice to completed installation. And to the two installers who were professional and very talented. Every time I walk into the room now my first thought is, I cant believe it (but I repeat myself). The floor is flat and even and the wood flooring is absolutely beautiful!
Kim found a perfect area rug for me and saved me money in the process. I was thinking about getting a custom area rug made, but when I showed Kim a picture of the chair that I wanted to be the centerpiece of my living room, she walked me over to a rack of area rugs and pulled out one that I liked immediately. Then she encouraged me to take it home for a trial to see how it felt. It felt great! Her eye for style and color and her attention to what I wanted were simply outstanding!
I had LVP from Baker Brothers installed in my condo. Kim Lepine helped me every step of the way. The installation was perfect. I would highly recommend
Love the carpet on the floor! Will be coming back for a custom order!
Kim was so helpful. She answered all our questions was so patient. We also saved so much money from another quote for an infirerer product. Thanks Kim
Very expensive and non-conmunicative when it came to installation. Joe Hessling doesnt return phone calls. Stephen Van Kooten said he would have someone call us back...they didnt. We understand someone gets sick and the installation gets pushed. But the lack of commuuncation about when the installation would happen especially since it was on a day we were not expecting and had doctors appointments etc. and could not get answers was just disrespectful. Unfortunate...buyer beware.
We love our new rug from Baker Bros. Thanks to Kim for excellent service and timing as promised. Well be back again!
We are very satisfied with our experience at Baker Bros on Camelback. Dana Hicks was very helpful in selecting our Laminate flooring in three rooms in our older Ranch style home The installation was prompt neat and very well done. We can highly recommend Backer Brothers on Camelback . Ask for Dana Hicks!
Worst customer service experience I have had in longer than I can remember. My wife and I were shopping for carpet for a room in a house we are buying and visited several retailers. We ultimately settled on Baker Brothers on Camelback because, even though they were slightly more expensive, we thought they would do a professional job. We went in on a Saturday, took some carpet samples and were told we should bring them back the next day on Sunday. Thats exactly what I did, and I went in to let Rich know that we were decided on a carpet and asked that he write up a proposal. He wrote everything out on a 3x5 notepad and it was a little more expensive than what we had discussed the day before, but no harm there, the square footage needed to be upped due to the shape of the room. My wife wasnt with me on Sunday, so I called her to discuss the pricing. She had no issue with the fact that it was more than what we thought it would be, but asked me to get a written quote so that we could discuss it when I got home. I returned to the counter and asked Rich if he could write up the quote on something more official than a piece of scratch paper and his response shocked me so much, that I literally stood there dumbfounded for a moment. He burst out and said NO! Thats not how this works! YOU EITHER BUY IT OR YOU DONT! I was speechless for a moment because I couldnt understand where this was coming from. Up until that point he had been very pleasant and I the same. Maybe he thought I was going to take the quote somewhere else to try to get a better deal? I have no idea, but the outburst was startling. I then calmly said, well, let me at least take a picture of the price breakdown (the pad of paper he had written it up on), so that I could show my wife the itemization when I got home, and he grabbed the pad out of my hand and said No! Look, Ive done all of this for FREE for you! pointing to the pad. Really? You calculated what it would cost to provide your service for free? Isnt that how its supposed to work? Call me crazy, but its 2017 and most people understand that part of business is letting the customer know what your product or service is going to cost and, gee, I dont know, even letting them take a written estimate home to their spouse to talk it over. As he sat down and began to say something else, I was no longer listening and just said thank you, Rich and walked out. He lost a $900 sale, but more importantly, I hope that people read this and know what kind of person they are going to be dealing with when they consider spending their money here (I am not certain, but I believe he is likely the proprietor of what is probably a franchise, as there are multiple locations). We will happily be buying our carpet somewhere else, yes, even if it ends up costing slightly more. Welcome to the digital age, Rich.
We had Baker Bros. install wood and carpet in our entire house. The level of service, professionalism and craftsmanship was amazing! Looking forward to enjoying our beautiful home for many years to come. If you have a dream vision for your home, go see Baker Bros.
