Had 5 guitars set up by Ron, great job, good price, quick 1 day turn around and did a lot of little things for free, like polish my aluminum guitar, glue down a broken pick-guard tip and file down high frets. Highly recommended.
The guy is crazy. Never again.
This is a fine luthier. Very honest and helpful. He pays a lot of attention to detail. Prices are very fair. You get what you need without a bunch of up-sell.
Based on how poor the owners customer service is, how he rebutted a review, very nasty and angry. I would never used this persons services. I want a nice smooth traction, not a business owner calling someone a scammer.
Great work, great setup on my guitar thanks.
Often times you get what you pay for. Ron delivered me three guitars with unplayable action, much worse than what I brought him. He stated and I quote, If you want great action buy a real fender. Those two fender want a bees are junk. Well one was a custom strat made by a respectable luthier...the other was a G and L, and the other was a Joe Pass Epiphone. Caveat Emptor. But the worse thing was that he refused to even take my call, and that has never happened to me in all the years I was using luthiers.....usually, theyll take a look. As it turns out, I will be bringing it to another luthier who has stated that he maladjusted the truss rod among other mistakes.
