I love that we can handle all the pistols and rifles out on the floor. Great design system. I do wonder if it would be good to but some type of rubber or plastic over the stands to protect the internal barrel?

Came here today to do my FFL transfers with these guys.Was very quick and the staff is amazing!Prices seem pretty reasonable too.Definitely recommend them to anyone!

I love this business. I’ve always had great experiences there ESPECIALLY with Josh. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Even if you know nothing about firearms, the staff is willing and happy to offer you education. The store is typically pretty busy but they will still take their time proving you a personalized customer experience. Love AMMO AZ!! You will too!

Horrible experience! I gave them my CCW permit and they still submitted me to a background check which is not necessary! This was a big waist of my time. I waited 1 hour just to be told its delayed because they dont know how to do their job correctly. Sure nobodys perfect but I would like to think a gun store employee would know the difference between a CCW and none CCW purchase. Also they run the place like its a child daycare center. Goodluck getting a question answered in this place anytime soon. The owner seems to respond to honest feed back like a adolescent so beware honest people..iam never visiting again and will be taking my money and time elsewhere!

Honestly I dont normal leave a review but this time is an exception. So I walk before the store said it was closed the employee there is going to say their closed. Like what ? I was able to walk in the door it wasnt locked an generally real stores and businesses lock there door to show customers that they are closed. Store hours it was open till 5 Im in door at 4:30 so yeah but this is a joke of business sorry not sorry.

I came here today for the very first time and it will definitely not be my last time here. The inventory at this place is great. The staff are awesome and nice. Went home with a Ruger AR556 and some ammo. Awesome place.

Today I purchased a relatively expensive rifle from Ammo AZ. I was really excited about my purchase, that was until I was able to give it a thorough inspection when I got home. There was a pretty significant issue with the rifle that I believe would have prevented it from being functional. I gave Ammo AZ a call to let them know. The lady I spoke with was friendly and told me to bring it back and they would check it out. A couple hours later, I took the rifle back to the store. They looked the rifle over and saw the issue and did a straight swap for me. Everyone was kind and apologized for the issue. Which was 100% a manufacturing issue, not Ammo AZs fault whatsoever! I cant express the relief I now have that they took care of everything for me. I will definitely be visiting these guys more often. Thank you very much!!!

My wife was taken care of and was a good experience, with knowledgeable staff. They made this buying a gun Experience relatively painless. We did wait on a line that was over two hours long. Ammo AZ was getting in a shipment of 9mm ammo and people where willing to wait and it was like waiting on a line at Disneyland or at a concert. In the end we are happy with our purchase and would definitely go back.

This place was awesome!! I had been keeping my eye on the owners videos because it really dose save me the trip to see current inventory. Also, a very huge deal to men like myself with kiddos. They have a premium changing table for little ones. I have plans on going back once the rifle inventory is back so expect me soon. My only issue would be there was en employee who showed up a minutes prior to opening and was playing loud music with profanity and there was women and children in line. Small concern and no reason to not to give this great gun shop all 5 stars.

I bought 4 ARs and 2 Pistols from them in the past 6 weeks, And still have plans to grow my collection.... Its like wholesale prices for the gun enthusiast. Ive been checking out this place on Facebook for a while and finally made it in yesterday. I loved the ability to take my time and get a feel of the guns without having to ask for assistance every time I want to see one. And the checkout process was quick and easy. Definitely a place to come back.

Great prices for my rich friends- we visited last summer and out of all the affordable places, this store was the least affordable- it kept all the poor people out and we could glance at the racks and figure if we wanted something from the lady working the counter and watching a small infant. The next time I come to AZ to buy overpriced things with money taken from the taxpayers from people who barely pay attention to whats going on, Im definitely stopping here!

I learned about Ammo AZ just over a year ago and finally bought my first pistol from them. Over the last year I have purchased ammo when available, optics, and visited several times looking for a new gun. Inventory turns fast at this store so be prepared for repeat visits if you want something specific. The gun I wanted was purchased by the guy in front of me in line. One in stock as is too common these days. I joked with Jamie (the gun purchaser) that I was hanging out to make sure he passed background check. He laughed, we spoke and chilled with Jason while everything was processed. Turns out I got a different gun, was helped by Jason, picked up some ammo and a new optic.My emotions went from racing to the store for a gun, failing to buy the gun, joking with customers and staff, and the joy of buying a new somewhat limited edition gun instead. This is gun enthusiast life since Covid 19 has changed the world. I appreciate Ammo AZ getting in what they can, trying to update inventory status by live streaming, and being decent people after a year operating at 300%.Thanks to all of you for your efforts, I will be back.

A little before this craziness all started to happen, I checked out AmmoAz when I came back home from overseas, and went in with the intention of buying the one gun I had my eyes on, the shop was so awesome, and the prices were so competitive, I ended up buying 3 guns from them. I’m continuously recommending them to friends as the best gun store in the valley. Will definitely continue to have my business when my need for more guns arises. Awesome store and even more awesome people!

This must be the perfect gun shop if I ever seen one. They have lots in stock and staff is very helpful. I like everything about this place but sometimes the lines can get nuts. Not totally their fault but I feel that this area can be improved on.

I was in today to by my daughter a gun in her name. Since I said she was my daughter but we dont share the same last name, and I was paying, they made me also do a back ground check. I could have been a tool and got upset, but instead I complied and we got the gun she wanted. Ammo Az is a great store and their employees are very helpful. I do kind of wish I threw a little bit of a fit so I could be the drama of the day though. Maybe next time.😉

Purchased my first firearm from here this morning. Must say, i was a little hesitant seeing some of the google reviews. But honestly, i had no issues whatsoever. I was in and out with my purchase under a hour. Took a two hour drive in total to come out ... was definitely worth it. I recommend to anyone looking for a firearm to stop on by and try em out. Came in to finally pick up my stribog this was my 19th purchase from ammo Az and was graciously helped out by the most stunning sales man Oakley I asked “should I buy a stribog?” He simply replied abbbbbaaaa hanabaaaaa ehhh I was sold this guy was obviously their top sales man! I also appreciate the fact the business is not out trying to be politically correct.. Lastly I also appreciate the fact checking. I live in the Laveen area and dont mind the 30 minute drive. The best place ever. Staff went out of their way to express their appreciation for us coming in. Had the ammo in stock and to my amazement the 38 special I bought was 100 dollars cheaper there than other dealers in Phoenix. So was the ammo, cheapest in town and they had it in stock. Very busy now with people stocking up so expect a wait but well well worth it.

Kids at the register tried to rob me $60 for 100 rds. of 9mm. Thats beyond price gouging territory.

Talk about being a kid in a candy store! By far one of the coolest shops there is!I recently won a lower from a VFW post in New York, I chose AMMOAZ as the FFL to receive it. The process was quick and simple, their fee was slightly higher than a lot of places around town but I’ve always loved coming here!Look at the pictures and videos! Everything from long barreled pistols to awesome rifles, shotguns, optics etc!They have a cool (but unfortunately non operable) vending machine that contains freedom seeds!The prices on the merchandise, ammo, t shirts and everything else was FANTASTIC!If you need anything firearm related, ammoAZ should be your number 1 stop!

My son introduced me to this gun store several months ago. I tagged along with him several times buying some ammo. I sold off my guns and decided to purchase a couple of new ones at Ammo AZ. The lines can get long during peak hours and on weekends but it’s worth the wait because they constantly update their stock and have better selection than any store around.

Great prices on ammo.

It would be more efficient to have one line for ammo buyers, and one line for gun buyers so everybody buying ammo isnt waiting behind gun buyers going through the process.We waited over an hour outside and never saw a single person walk in the door from the line in front of us that was over twenty people.After seeing the reply from the business I changed my review to the lowest rating since this business values customers based on their purchases and intentionally makes customers wait.

I went to look at two guns I hand in mind. Not to sure if I was going to buy them. After waiting a little over an hour outside, I finally got in, of course I had to look at all the guns! Finally filled out the paper work, and started to look at the two guns I was Interested. Finally made up my mind and went with the hand gun that I been wanting for some time. (At this point I had been at the store for a hour and half) I went to check out and had to wait another 30min for my background. Got everything cleared up and went to buy the gun. They advised me that they only had the display. Was not too happy but really wanted the gun. After looking at it I decided to take it. When the employee charged me, it was a lot more then what they had it priced. He went to look at the price where “HE” got the gun and confirms the priced that was there. He called some guy over and he looked at the computer. Guy basically told me to bad to sad that we can’t honor the price “they priced it”. He also told me that I just got there,(after I waited over 2.5hr) I was about to leave because I was not going to pay the higher price. I think it was the owners wife but she stoped me and told me that she was not able to honor the price but she can meet in the middle. Now it was still higher then what I wanted to pay. BUT SHE WAS MAKING IT RIGHT AND I PAID IT. Thank you guys for making it right!!!
