I’ve been to Valley Forge a few times now, at the Scottsdale location… the same gunsmith, Steven, has worked on a few of my different handguns and does a fantastic job. He’s fast, efficient, affordable and friendly. I’ll be back.
This place is awesome. Stephen was able to help get my barrel nut lined up and was a pleasure to speak to. Highly recommend and will be back here with any gun needs
My first visit to Valley Forge. While at the range the bolt action on my rifle jammed and would not eject the spent shell. I was hesitant to use any significant force as I feared I may snap the lever of the bolt mechanism. After the requisite google and You Tube searches I was still left wondering is the issue was the casing (factory not reload), a latent issue with the Rem 700 series camber action or something yet unknown. One thing I knew was it was NOT due to lack of cleaning and care.I called Valley Forge expecting to be told, Come in in October. Imagine my surprise when Justin said, Come on in now if you like.I was in and out in 20 minutes with confidence it was just the shell. Additionally the cost was less than expected!I will continue to visit Valley Forge in the future for any unexpected issues with my firearms.
Chose this place cause they have great reviews, but that was a mistake. Took a handgun in to get sights installed and they took almost a week longer than I was told. Fine... but I go to pick it up and there are several scratches on both sides of the slide from their work. I left 2 voice messages and sent pictures of what happened and finally they called back and told me to bring it in to look at it. I only sought a professional to install the sights to avoid scratches. I have seen people change out sights with a mallet and punch without scratching the slide. I could and would have done it myself if I knew scratching would be a result. They put some true blue on which did nothing and when I asked if it would hold up, they said not like the original finish (that they scratched). I asked what could be done to return the gun to the state it was in when I brought it to them for professional gunsmithing, they said the only way to really get rid of the scratches was re-doing the finish which is about $200 worth of work. They offered a $40 cleaning for $200 worth of damages they that caused. Spoke to a few employees about it and they blamed faulty equipment and said it was normal for sight installation to scratch guns even though I have seen sight installations done without scratching the finish. They told me they understood and would be upset too… but that their only remedy is the free cleaning. They did not back up their work and did not do right by there mistake.
Great work guys! Best gunsmith in the valley. Will not go anywhere else. Awesome job gentlemen.
Excellent work, great prices and very knowledgeable. Five out of five would recommend!
Bottom line is these guys do great work, do it quickly, and don’t rip you off. I trust them for work on all my rifles. I haven’t had a pistol project yet but they would be my first call. They also do stippling and cerakoting so if you need anything like that give them a look.
Ive gone to Valley Forge Weaponry numerous times and have always received prompt, professional and friendly service. In fact, Ricky has been very careful not to damage any of the Cerakote finishes on my firearms (including a few Wilson Combat) as well as perfectly align all parts. I highly recommend Ricky and Valley Forge Weaponry.
Ricky is the sweetest and friendliest guy and he absolutely knows what hes doing. I feel so fortunate that I found a place where I can trust someone with my firearms, helping maintain or fix them, and someone who also has helped offer suggestions. Even when I dont need anything taken care of, if Im in the area Im happy to stop by and say hi to Rickys friendly face.
Very friendly and great prices!!!😀
Probably the absolute best place to get your guns cleaned. The ultrasonic cleaning they offer is excellent for the price and quality. Saves me a ton of time cleaning my guns by hand and their ultrasonic cleaner does way a better job than I can anyways. Cant beat it.
Did not know what to expect since I havent needed a gunsmith for over 15 years. Ricky was recommended to me by C-2 Tactical. I had an excellent experience at a fair price. I highly recommend him.
I am an AVID 1911 Enthusiast, because as we all know .45 is Gods Caliber. However, one of my HIGH END 1911s (Rock Island) was having some serious issues and I finally caved in and decided to bring it to a Gun Smith.I wrapped that bad boy up in a few plush Microfiber towels that I bought from Auto Zone and brought it in to Valley Forge. Ricky greeted me with a kind smile and and assured me that my gun would be extremely well taken care of.I got the gun back in better condition than I gave it yo him due to his keen eye for detail. Thanks for taking care of my baby. #1911 #GodsCaliber
I went and saw Ricky the gunsmith at C2 Tactical to swap out some sights on my Walther PPQ Sub comapact. I dropped the gun off and w/in 2 hrs Ricky called me and said it was ready to pick up and he did a really nice install with no scratches on my slide at all. Ricky is also very polite and has a great demeanor unlike some other gunsmiths that are surly. I highly recommend Ricky if you are looking for a reliable gunsmith.
An excellent gunsmith! The battleworn black and red Cerakote job they did on my AR-15 looks immaculate. Highly recommend, love that most of the guys are Vets!
Ricky is pretty knowledgeable in his craft. Felt confident in leaving my guns in his care. Any issues I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thks
I was at the Scottsdale range when my gun jammed. The range has a Valley Forge Weaponry on sight so I took my gun to them. Nicholas Dow was on duty and he was very professional. While I waited, he got my gun freed up without a scratch. I will now take any of my guns to him for repairs or maintenance.
Ricky at Valley Forge inside C2 helped me with switching out my stock sights with my new suppressor sights. He was fast and did for me while I waited and I got to shoot it right after so that I could zero it in with red dot. Thanks!!! Love the staff at Valley Forge and C2.
These guys are awesome! The custom work they do for us is always absolutely immaculate. Highly recommend them as an organization!
Ricky is an expert in all things firearm related. He convinced me that 40 S&W was an awful caliber and that friends do not let friends by any Springfield XDs. Ricky is a great man with the most beautiful beard in all the land.
Ricky was able to restore my 1911 to working condition and is now more reliable than any Tupperware gun on the market.
Friendliest and most helpful gunsmith in the valley. Gave me excellent gun and beard advice.
I left my Fn-509 with Ricky for about two weeks. I initially wanted the apex trigger installed, which he had done in less than 24 hours and he wanted to test the trigger pull before I left with the gun and paid for it. I had the upper at home and came to find out after initial takedown my striker tip snapped off after just 750 rounds. I seemed to have lost the very small spring stop pin in the process, or when the striker failed. I contacted FN after Ricky said I should and they sent everything over and he had it done quickly and efficiently. Much obliged, I’ll be back!
I was a hardcore Hi Point enthusiast but Ricky was able to show me the error of my ways and now I am a Glockaholic. He hast installed red dots, triggers, and iron sights to truly make my Glock gucci and worthy of the perfection slogan.
Was using the range at C2 Scottsdale and had an issue with my Glock 17 Gen 5. Talked to the gunsmith at Valley Forge and he took a look at the gun, and had some suggestions. Was polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. Excellent service and I was impressed. I will use them going forward for any gun work I need including periodic deep cleaning beyond what I can do. Very happy that they have a shop at C2. Vet owned which is a big plus, too.
These guys not only know their way around guns, they are exceptionally helpful. They have worked on a number of my guns and I have always been happy with their work and the reasonableness of their prices. Very nice people, too.
Colton was awesome he was able to diagnose my issue with my 1911 and get me a ballpark price for the fix immediately. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.
The guys here at Valley Forge Weaponry were super friendly and helpful. They explained everything that might need to be done to my father’s firearm that was passed down to me. Would recommend to any fellow little lady shooter.
Been there a few times now and have worked with both the guys at different times. I have had nothing but good experiences so far. They have a nice setup and are very friendly and knowledgeable. Certainly recommend checking them out while you are in C2 tactical, or even going there just to see them if you need some gunsmithing done.
Had sights replaced on 2 handguns. Rear sights are crooked and not properly seated. Put a bore sight on both and one shoots 10-12 low at 25 yds and the other is aiming somewhere near 11 oclock. Very disappointed. Sending both back to manufacturer for OEM replacements.
Really cool shop inside of C2 Tactical. Great setup and the guys were very helpful and professional. Will definitely be back in the near future!
Fixed my Taurus quickly and for a reasonable price. Thank you!
Excellent, quick service. They got my gun cleaned and lubed up nice and quick after I was done shooting. Ill probably have them do some cerakoting for me also.
When asked what a professional looks like it is easy to use Stephen as an example. Throughout talks and opinions on what would be best and look best for my p320(what he suggested I buy and is now my edc) he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He even told me hed buy the cerakote paint I wanted if he didnt have it in stock. He is worth the 3+ hour drive to purchase firearms and services from and has found a customer for life.
Great service, knowledgeable staff, guns cleaned to perfectionThis place is located in the back of C2 tactical indoor shooting range.
Really nice shop and the guys are always super patient and really helpful. Love that it is in C2!
Excellent service, can’t think of a negative thing to say. Straightforward and quick to answer.
Great shop, both of the owners are really great guys. The quality of works is amazing and the cerakote work they do is extremely clean.
Very good dude, always know’s what the problem is. Got my rifle working in a day.
Got my sights installed in just a few minutes after I dropped my gun off, thanks Ricky!!!
Excellent place to get your gun cleaned up after a day at the range. They were also able to change out my sights for me.
Nice small shop inside of the C2 Tactical. They can do diagnostics and repairs, cleanings after you shoot, and even part and sight replacements.
10 Out of 10 Would break my gun again to go back and hang out with Ricky
Ricky is the best gunsmith in Phoenix by far.
Great place, quality work and craftsmanship
