This is my go-to spot for high quality vitamins and supplements. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a small variety of grocery items as well including raw milk and cheese.

This has been the best health food store in Phoenix since Gentle Strength was destroyed by Wild Oats/Whole Foods. Wed been shopping at Herbs before he retired for many, many years and were so glad to find that the new operation was just as good (better with the bigger store.) My only sadness was when they stopped carrying a couple of my staples and that is something that has been happening a lot in every store these past couple of years.If the Karens out there laying down one-star reviews dont like those of us who dont believe masks are healthy to wear? It is as yet a free country (somewhat.) Respectfully: Go pound sand.I adore Healthy Habit and wish it was much closer to my own neighborhood so I could go every week.

Clearly the people writing bad reviews are just trolls. Healthy habits is a great store and they are very helpful. They abide by every rule in the book and are very knowledgeable on supplements, vitamins, and super foods.They have over 200 variations of vitamins. A wonderful selection of paleo, vegan, keto, and other healthy diet foods. I personally love the fresh spring water I purchase from them.The staff is very informed on the benefits of vitamins and I have never had a problem asking a question. They are very polite and always are there if need be.The parking is super easy to get to and always plenty of spots. Went here today for the first time and loved the store. It is very welcoming and filled with all types of vitamins, minerals, superfoods, iodine, and other healing tonics. The workers were friendly and were helping an elderly man boost his health. It was lovely to see this. The staff is highly educated and everything they carry is Organic or Non gmo. Great selection of different unique foods as well.We will be returning again 👏Ps. Parking was easy and right in front.

Love this place.I think the reason a place like this survives even when theres a whole foods or sprouts down the road is that because theyre very community focused and they really sincerely care about the clients.They stock the best supplements and the best array of those supplements along with a lot of grocery store items that would fall on the more healthy and of the spectrum.Im always surprised by how many employees they have working in that store at any given time but I would never complain about that. Theyre all very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable.I know they run a radio show out of there and they regularly host Experts on any given topic. They have a small library full of some powerful information and theyre always very happy to share what they know about any given topic whenever Ive asked.In short, I am very glad the store exists and that I live so close to it. It be worth the drive even if I didnt live so close.

Not sure why people are writing bad reviews.. this is a small business and they are very safe on everything they do. I was so pleased to find Healthy Habit. I stocked up on some great deals, found some hard to find items, got all my questions answered and was made to feel like a welcomed long-time customer even though it was my first visit. I will head there first the next time I need something.

HH is a cute store chock full of great products, many hard to find. I bought Turmeric and colloidal silver. The prices are higher than CVS but thats to be expected at this type of store. The store is also on the small side. Service staff is knowledgeable and steered me to the products I wanted at the price points I wanted.Recommended.

If you are looking for a safe place to shop during the pandemic this store is not for you. Many of the staff refuse to wear masks and they do not practice social distancing. A face shield without a mask doesnt protect yourself or others especially when you arent practicing social distancing. The sad part is one of new owners is a RN and should know how to protect their customers and their staff. Visit cdc.gov to check on what a proper face covering is. I miss the old owner.

This week I had to find Vitamin A in a large dose but had no luck at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or Sprouts. Hi Health is going out of business. But a Sprouts employee referred me to Healthy Habits and everything she said about them was true. When I called to ask if they carried this, I was told they do. When I arrived at the store, all of the staff were so nice and I think every one of them helped me to find the best product for my needs. I wont hesitate to go there again or to refer anyone to them.

Absolutely horrific place. Staff member was checking people out at the register with no mask, while there are signs on the door that say please wear masks?!? Insane. Customers were also unmasked, no social distancing measures at all (packed tiny store), and the windows are covered so you can’t tell what you are walking into until you get inside. The cashier alone could be infecting hundreds of people each day. Whoever runs this place should be ashamed.

I recently visited a friend in Phoneix, AZ and was having a problem with my skin (face). Im so glad I found this store while there. My intention was to purchase topical skincare products, but a wonderful employee of yours by the name of Lynn, approached me (she must have seen my confusion with all the products) offering assistance. She asked me all the right questions and directed me to, not only topical skincare products, but supplements to take INTERNALLY. I could tell that she really knew what she was talking about and was passionate about her job and helping me.I was so impressed with her abundant knowledge, and felt so relieved after speaking with her. When I returned home (Alabama) I visited an esthetican and showed her the products - she said they were excellent and that I should continue with them. I will definitely be making more purchases from this store when Im back home in Alabama. She said I could call and order and get free shipping for purchases over $75.Thanks to this store, and especially Ms Lynn.

This little grocery store is an absolute gem! I drove by here so many times before I decided to check it out and was surprised by how lively and well stocked it was. The staff here is amazing and really know their stuff. This business really takes pride in good health as a way of life - its just awesome. There are so many hard to find, natural, organic products here and a huge amount of supplements too. They even have raw milk! I didnt even know that could be bought until I came here. A given healthy habit a 2 because for the past two and three times I was able to use my rewards that same day they up and change that so now I have to get my rewards card for the $50 and use it the next time I will be going back there on payday to get my CBD so I can use my card that I was supposed to be able for the last three four times lets see if itll make me out a liar cuz they made me at 1 today if I had been lying about what I did how come I was able to use my rewards that same day I dont appreciate it be calling a liar right now they have the best CBD I will pick it up and use my rewards the next payday that is why youre only getting a two I taken my five back and given them at 2

My first place for healthy stuff specially Raw Milk. I do yogurt my own house . This place, besides, SAVE YOUR YOGURT LLC in San Tan. is the only places in AZ were one could find real RAW UNPASTEURIZED COW MILK . I bought an electric butter churn online on Amazon for $239 that hold 2.5 gallons yogurt and now I enjoy making my own creamy butter from real raw milk . For better butter quality, get purple cap milk ( 💯 grass-fed ) milk, its creamy and rich with organic fat . Also this store sells two types of culture and stater to make better yogurt were one can extract high quality butter . If you are interested in making you own healthy creamy yogurt and butter, come to this store.

I love healthy habits. They have packed this place full of the best of the best superiors, fermented foods, supplements and more. I have been a loyal customer for 4 years now. I have moved several times in the past years, no amount of distance will keep me away from healthy habits. The staff is very helpful and will help in any way they can. I see some reviews talking about how small it is, WHO CARES, you spend maybe 30 min or less inside, its not like its suffocating anyone hahaha, some people. Anyway, overall this is the best local shop for all my health needs in Arizona.

Because they have a wide selection of everything and helpful people who will help inform your choices.They also carry a few groceries, and Ive been happy to find some local farmers products like local honey and cheeses.

We were on a quest for CBD Oil to deal with heightened anxiety, After trying six places in Fountain Hills we headed to Sprouts on East Shea Blvd where an excellent and incredibly friendly associate let us know they only carried topical CBD products. She referred us to Healthy Habits. She earned our grocery shopping business for Sprouts!! We found Healthy Habits to be everything we were looking for and more. Barbara was highly knowledgeable about their CBD Oil and gummies. Literally, everyone working there was welcoming, friendly and helpful. They have an excellent Top Quality product selection with reasonable prices. This place is well worth the 24 mile drive from Fountain Hills. Check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

I went there yesterday and bought the 35% Hydrogen Peroxide and some Almond Oil. The lady that works as the cashier overcharged me for both. I cannot believe it because this is my 4th time buying this product. I thank myself that I reviewed my receipts. I cant believe this lady. I wonder was it the color of my skin? The staff is very rude and never ask if you need help. I wont be going back. I will be returning this Almond oil and getting my money that is due to me, for the Hydrogen Peroxide. I am telling all of my family and friends to avoid this place. Businesses have not learned how to do good business by the customer so sad.

I shop here monthly for my peptides powder. I like that it is less than Amazon. I usually call to inquiry if it is on sale, and the person on the line is always very helpful. This time I called and Barbara told me the product was on sale and there was a $3 coupon to boot! I hurried over, grabbed my product, and before I could tell the cashier that it was on sale and there was a coupon, Hilda, with a short, non-customer service tone, snapped, ¨No!¨ more than once. I referenced Barbara´s quote.....Barbara was called to the register to verify, which she did, but all the while Hilda continued to be short, did not bother to ask a co-worker, and never changed her tone until I brought to her attention that I felt her tone was dismissive, did she apologize. The two stars are strictly due to this exchange, and not for the store as a whole. I hope that if Hilda reads this review, she will think twice about how she interacts with customers and listens to our request rather than quickly jumping to a ¨NO!¨ Thanks.

I use to love this place and the people here! We use to look forward to stopping by for whatever we may need as everyone who worked here was so friendly and helpful. Now we dread going, as the environment has changed. I was told that there was a new owner. No longer any friendly greetings upon entering or even standing in the same aisle as an employee, its like Im invisible to them. I have chosen to order any and all items I used to get here online or simply find them elsewhere. While the new management has made some lovely construction updates to the market itself they have sadly brought with them an unpleasant/negative energy or vibe to the Healthy Habit that I remember and had loved for almost 20yrs.

This is the best place in Phoenix to find fantastic prices on your health products! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you cant find an item they will! If you still cant find an item they will order it for you. But seriously, they have almost everything there!

Woke up NOT able to move my neck. Unfortunately, listened to friends who said I simply needed a message. Went to Message Envy, and It did NOT help. Drove straight to Healthy Habit and Dr. Dan felt where the pain was and diagnosed it as a pinched nerve. Going to see his Chiropractor on Monday morning at 8 a.m. NEXT TIME Ill go to the master instead of listening to friends and family.OMG, I Love this guy!

Small store jammed packed full of healthy foods, supplements, herbs, etc. They gave you a discount sometimes if you buy an entire case of an item. There pricing is often lower than the suggested retail. I bought a bottle of Rescue Remedy for $16,99 instead of $22.99. Was there with a family member to pick something up, so I didnt have much time to look around. Was disappointed that I couldnt refill a bottle of Dr. Bronners soap there. All in all a good place to shop for alternative medicine products.

Healthy Habit is amazing!! They are the only health food store in Phoenix that carries RAW cow and goats milk! They also carry the full line of mushroom supplements offered by Fungi Perfecti and all of their supplements are priced well below Sprouts, Whole Foods, and sometimes Amazon. The people who work here are awesome, super knowledgable, and easy to talk to. My only issue is that they dont carry the Green Pasture brand of fermented cod liver oil which is the only brand recommend by the Weston A. Price foundation.

I have never been there but whoever answered the phone today at 11 something this morning, was rude! I called by accident and I apologized for calling the wrong number, and she just hung up the phone. Even at hello she had an negative tone of voice. I work in the restaurant industry and I do a lot of customer service an never do I ever hang up on customers because that is not how I want to represent the company. Anyway she did not even say bye or anything. So I suggest that the company teach their employees proper phone skills.

I had high expectations. And it was just ok. I was looking for help with multiple products, and while the staff was very friendly, and able to help me find the products, they didnt know much about them. Similar to sprouts. Id suggest doing some extra research on products that youre considering and to not rely on them. The prices are fair. Similar to what youd find for the same products on amazon or sprouts.

I recently learned online about Black Seed Oil. All summer I have been fighting a sinus infection that has caused irritation in my throat but it recently went into my lungs. I could have gone to the doctor [for free] and gotten a prescription [for free] but at 67 I didnt want the side effects of an antibiotic... I did my homework for B S O and found the top 10 current brands. So I searched online for a health food store near me andfound a GNC. I went there, they had the #1 rated product for $29.99 and I was treated right, but I thought, I shall search for a locally owned business and, if I have to, I can return here tomorrow and buy this. That was on a Sunday. The next day I called Healthy Habit Health Foods and, Yes, they had it for $27.99. So late in the day I took off on the bus and easily found the address. The exterior was very clean and the interior was even more clean & tidy. I found the cashier, who was just as nice as she could be, and asked for Amazing Herbs [brand] Black Seed Oil and she asked a beautiful white haired lady -- who was busy --- who politely told me where I would find it... and she was right!!!! I then wondered through the aisles and the stock on hand was tremendous plus the variety was fantastic. In other words, If you need it, they got it!!! [my opinion] I had been helping friends all day so I did not clean up before catching the bus because the store closes at 6 PM. Therefore, I was not really presentable BUT everyone in the store, including a customer, sincerely treated me like I was an old friend they hadnt seen in a long time!!!!!!! [Note: I was in retail sales for over 40 years and these old fashioned values, which I exercised in my dealing with the public, are RARE to find in our current retail markets.] The best part was that the 8 ounce bottle of B S O was ON SALE for more than $10 less than GNC. [I love bargains!!!] I plan to return to Healthy Habits for my needs and tell everyone to go there, too.P. S. At the exit door are LOTS of free material that I enjoy reading so much. Normally, we wouldnt bother writing a review for a place so supplement-centric (not exactly our scene), but freckled throughout the overstuffed maze that is Healthy Habit there just so happens to be some of the most exciting and obscure health/food products youre likely to find, and theyre changing it up all the time. Things like Bighorn Botanicals Montana Yew Tips, Mt. Capras organic pastured goat ghee, and some of North American Herb & Spices harder-to-find products. Not to mention the fact that they carry raw cow, camel, and occasionally goat milk.Now, its not unique to Healthy Habit, but their name including the words health foods is at least a bit misleading. Theres not too much to be found in the way of actual foods here, and none of the food that is here is fresh. Youll find staples like honey (including Really Raw & Wee Bee, both actually unheated), cheese (including some raw milk cheese), kombucha, and various superfoods, but no meat, eggs, or produce. And for as large as the chocolate selection is, options for quality are limited. Its a great place to come for specific items, but in no way is it a one-stop shop.When it comes to service, lets just say Healthy Habit is decidedly non-corporate. Even at its most frustrating though, its endearing in its eccentricities.

Three years ago I was diagnosed with a FUNGAL BALL (ewww!) in my sphenoid sinus (the deepest, hardest to reach sinus cavity). I was terrified after researching this condition on the web as it can be fatal and the surgery is quite dangerous. I went to one of that years Phoenix Top Docs, an ear, nose and throat specialist. He immediately wanted to do surgery!!! I asked for a less invasive therapy (anti-fungal medicine) and he refused. His reason? The blood supply up there is minimal and so the medicine would never reach it... I persisted, suggesting It cant hurt to try. He flatly refused again, so I found Healthy Habit Health Foods on-line & went searching for help. Dr. Dan took me by the arm, whisked me around the store and filled my basket with close to a dozen anti-fungal herbs and suggested a special diet as well. He also assured me that I wasnt going to die and that I could beat this - he gave me HOPE!!! About 10 months later, that whole, gross, huge fungal ball CAME OUT. What a miracle - this is sooo rare! I adore Dr. Dan and am convinced he saved my life and I would recommend this store to anyone. I do advise you though to ask for help, because it can be confusing. The place is jam-packed with so many great items that it is hard to find stuff. But I love this too, because i know it is jam-packed for a reason - they care so much about their customers and want to be sure they have something there to help everyone. Finally, I shop around when it comes to supplements and most of the time, they are cheaper than anywhere else, even the on-line stores! Good luck with your health and never give up. Shining On...
