I purchased two sets of brass knuckle paperweights online, from karate mart last week and I was blown away by the quality in the products I received, before I made this purchase I ordered two sets from brassknucklescompany.com and I was shocked when instead of pure brass like I was promised, I received cheap Chinese made trash, and for twice the price of what I spent with this company, they do an amazing job providing quality products in a timely fashion, my package took maybe 3 days to arrive, I will never order from another company again, when they say pure brass they mean it, couldnt be happier

This place is super neat. Bought a staff and some practice nunchucks there and the pricing/quality is really nice. It’s like one of those little, hidden places that has exactly what you were looking for when you go. Definitely recommend.

We needed to get new sparring gear for our daughter as she had outgrown her previous items.The female who helped us was very helpful and patient. She picked out items and let my daughter try them on. My daughter can be very particular about what she considers tight and wont wear something if it just fits. It was very nice to be able to try on multiple sizes and have my child choose what felt best for her. She may have been iffy on a size but once she felt another she knew which she needed.The prices are very reasonable. There is a reason they have been in business for forever. My husband remembers going there as a child.They had everything we needed and more. They have gear - foot, hand, chest, and head protection. They have mouth guards and cases. They have gis in black and white (maybe other colors but I dont recall). They have belts in all colors.If you have a martial arts gear/supply need I am sure they can help.

I love this place! I practice the art of nunchucks. I have been going here for 20 plus years and the staff is always really cool, and they always have what Im looking for which is a wide variety of weapons and other assorted items for martial arts activities. They have good prices and I would recommend this place to anybody

If youre looking for decent to good martial arts weapons and equipment and are in the Phoenix area, do not go to this Karatemart. Used a spear once that the tip broke off and they did not do a thing to help and couldnt even get a return phone call. Better off buying online.

The selection has gotten a little smaller than what it used to be but still a great place to get a lot of martial arts supplies. Reminds me of the Honda Martial Arts store in Chinatown, NYC with the old school feel... theyre just a smaller store overall though. Employees and owner are very friendly and helpful... and pretty patient because Im sure they hear more than their fair share of boring stories from martial artists who just talk their ear off about what theyve done in the past! Lol

I was asked to leave because I have a service dog. Despite trying to explain that my dog is trained to perform a specific task that aids me in my disability, I was told my dog was not allowed because shes not a sight assistance dog. Poor poor customer service and federal law breakers. Thanks for kicking out a disabled army combat veteran and service dog.

They have it all but AC. It was very hot inside. the selection was great and service was great. Just to hot to shop.

This place is nice. The staff are helpful and the store is well-stocked. The parking (in the rear) is easy enough to manage. My only gripe about this store is that the prices on their website do not match what they sell it for in the store. Everything in the store is a few dollars more expensive. Even though I pass this store every day on my way home, it makes more sense for me to order from the website because I can get the exact same gear for less.

Nice if youre into the flashy side of martial arts. Lots of gear, weapons, patches and martial arts kitsch. I was looking for an old-school unbleached judo/jujitsu gi- probably not a big-selling item. They said they had one, so I stopped by. Turns out that they didnt but said they could order one. A bleached gi was delivered. They took the bleached gi back and refunded my money promptly, saying they couldnt find an unbleached gi. I found one online at Amazon in about 10 minutes.

Best place to get any thing karate related for your kids. Great prices great people. Foam swords etc...

Not sure where all these 5 & 4 ratings are coming from but my personal experience was not even one star but its the minimum. from the moment we walked in i guess my skin wasnt light enough and was basically told things were expensive. i gladly will take my $$ elsewhere. money is money, advice for the staff staring from behind the counter really makes me feel welcomed and comfortable as im browsing.

A wide variety of things to choose from we naught Chinese stars some foam practice numb chucks some practice equipment for my grandsons shin gaurdes and some gloves all at a good price

Its okay. Its weird little hole in the wall, youd never expect to find a martial arts store there. They have less selection than on their site, which is already kind of small. I went there looking for a Jian, and one that I held had a tassle held on by an O ring, and the ring broke off as soon as I picked it up. Overall a bunch of low quality stuff. Overall about the same as a mall ninja shop.The only reason my score is so high, is because Ive ordered Nunchaku before, which were damaged, and they happily replaced them with a functional pair. Customer service is good, but the store itself is a joke
