Horrible business practices. I was taken to the ER and received a random bill from Pacific Pulmonary Services for $100 on top of the $18,000+ hospital bill, $1345 bill from the treating doctor at the hospital that for some reason wasnt included in the $18,000 hospital bill, ambulance bill and then this random $100 bill. The bill itself did not explain what it was for and when I called to inquire about this the person I spoke with had no clue either. Regardless, I gave them my insurance info (which I am fully covered) and told them where to send the bill. All the other bills were sent there and paid. However, I kept receiving a bill from Pacific Pulmonary Services saying it is seriously past due. I called my insurance and was notified that they never received anything from Pacific Pulmonary Services to bill them. I again called Pacific Pulmonary Services and advised them that they are not getting a cent from me and that if they want to be paid that they need to bill my insurance. This was on May 21, 2021. I was advised not to worry and that it will be sent to my insurance and that I wont receive another bill. However, I did in fact receive another bill today, June 1, 2021. The bill is dated May 27, 2021 and states that We have not received payment for the balance shown. We must now make a decision to forward your account to an attorney or collection agency for resolution. It is your responsibility to contact us within 10 days of this letter to prevent your account from being forwarded to an attorney or collection agency. To avoid further action please make payment in full immediately. These people got the wrong person if they think that I will simply pay them $100 so that they stop pestering me. I will not pay something that I do not owe. In fact, I still dont fully understand what this $100 bill is for. Upon investigation it seems like it may be for a neck brace that I was forced to wear for 5 minutes when I was put in the CT scan at the hospital. I did not keep this neck brace and have no clue what happened to it. Regardless, I again called the company upon seeing the bill today. I was told that my balance is zero and not to worry. Out of curiosity I again called my insurance company to see if it was actually paid. I was told that it has not been submitted. This company is clearly attempting to frighten people into paying for things they do not owe. I will fight this bill to the death. It is obvious that they are either attempting to get paid by me and insurance or the bill is complete BS to begin with if they have yet to submit it to my insurance for payment. Why else would they not want to be paid?

This is awful.. So we looked at our EOB on our Insurance and we found this Fraudulent Company.. So I called called the urgent care where my son went in for busting his thumb wellhe had X-ray splint and Dr thats it.. No pulmonary at all and even the Urgent Care has no knowledge of using this this company. The insurance when I called already had is suspended because of lack of notes and no doctor or instruction or even my signature on any orders obviously you do at the sign for the equipment or whatever that were getting but theres none of that the hospital doesnt have any orders nothing out of the blue a charge so its blocked we worked on it for about an hour and a half and nobody could get anywhere they even tried calling nothing the insurance on a really odd so now that company is no longer ever able to Bill my insurance ever again so thats how mine went do you guys have stories like this

I regret ever going to this place. I went in July 2020 to get fitted for a machine, the person that helped me was very nice. During the first consultation they make it a requirement to sign up for auto pay. After using the machine for a few months I decided to return it. They continue to bill my insurance and continue to bill my auto pay even though I have talked to 3 different people in billing regarding the cancellation. Each time they tell me its been taken care of and I will not be charged again. I absolutely hate this company! PLEASE DONT USE THEM!!! I dont know their company structure but you should avoid Pacific Pulmonary Services and AdaptHealth!

My father has been on oxygen for the 6 or so years. We have used this company almost about that time. My father recently passed away I called and told them they need to come pick up the machine and the bottles. The only good thing about my fathers passing is we do NOT have to use this company!!!!! We have had nothing but bad issues with this company. We would call to get supplies and it was always a headache. I spoke to a representative on Monday the DAY after my father PASSED and had to deal with a rep that was more worried about asking me 20 questions than just set up a pick up date. They was to pick it up on Wednesday so someone just called me and told me they be here sometime this morning I asked when we have an appt then he tells me just set it outside . Why so someone can steal it and we be responsible for it NO I dont think so. So then he says he be here this after noon I said what time he said I dont know I explained that my father passed and we had errands we had to do. Then very rude he told me he would be here in the morning then. For everyone reading this I urge you to check around and find another place to get your oxygen this place was just a HEADACHE the whole time we had to use them.

They have been sending me bills from 2019 for the last six months of 2020, during a pandemic. Over $1,000 spent in catch-up money, which all started immediately after I switched to a new provider. My insurance told me they have the right to do it, albeit highly unethical.Avoid this company, even if it means buying your own gear on Amazon. They will milk you dry.

Pacific pulmonary continually engages in fraud and refuses to cancel an authorization that was not provided to them. I am attempting to order supplies from another company that does not engage in fraud however they cannot order these supplies because Pacific Pulmonary is claiming they have an authorization on file -I have not been able to order new supplies in 9 months- I am just waiting to get an infection- the lawsuit will be forthcoming (go to Valley Sleep Center if you can- they are not fraudulent and act like professionals).

From day one the service has been mediocre, not for the machine itself but customer service and your handle on logistics. Every single time a new order is placed for my husband’s supplies we get the exact same call: the insurance is not covering, we need payment to ship the supplies. And EVERY TIME I have to explain that when coverages don’t apply, our health savings account pays for the cost. This has been our method of payment for more than a year, and with every order I have to explain this over and over again. Ive asked numerous operators to make notes for future reference and we always get the same call regardless, only for me to ask that they refer to the previous notes and VOILA there it is and both our time has been wasted.

Horrible buisness. They have no idea how to run a buisness. Was sent a bill that they didnt send through my insurance and said they would fix that. They then sent a late notice and late fee because the bill which they told me not to pay until they fixed it was due and they had yet to fix it. They did take away the late fee but when I went to pay it they said they didnt have a record of me. They billed me again, when I went to pay it they hung up one me. My insurance has been trying to take care of this for me and the company has yet to cooperate with my insurance. I am so over this company, Symbius was a million times better. I didnt get to choose them just was told thats who took over for Symbius.

Unable to get the proper oxygen regulator or a portable oxygen concentrator. They picked up my broken demand regulator that went up to 6L/min and replaced with one that goes to 5L/min said they don’t carry that reg anymore. Lousy service since they bought out Med One. The real reason is I’m in my third year and they have to charge Medicare contractual prices.

Received two bills and I have called pacific pulmonary services multiple times leaving voicemails to inquire why we were sent this bill and unsure of who this company even is. Never received a returned call & they still sent bill to collections. My husband does have a cpap machine that was purchased through Symbius and was for sure paid off. Also no services or items were rendered for the dates of service they indicated on the letters. Seems very odd and they are possibly committing fraud. Do not trust them.

Trouble started middle of 2018 with botched deliveries. Received wrong supplies for CPAP even after they sold the machine to me.Now we’re getting billed for supplies we never received. Adding insult to injury we are getting bills from PPS and a billing company contractor. PPS never answers the phone and doesn’t return calls ergo you have no way to correct the issues.I guess we wait until they send collection agency after us then small claims court.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Ive used PPS for over five years with PPS providing excellant service. In the last two years acquisitions and reorganization has crippled PPS. I have had a billing dispute which they dont seem to care to resolve. PPS hasnt responded to a sequence of messages for over a month. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. The BBB has not received a response from PPS. They make so there is absolutely no way to directly talk to a person when you disagree with a billing. Unless things change drastically, I would advise people to steer clear of PPS.

Terrible Customer Service at Corporate or Regional Level anyway. This mask issue was rectified when I visited their office Phoenix office again. Megan, the Clinical Manager looked up my account on the PC and she informed me that my acct did not say I received it (see issue below) and that the shipping warehouse had dropped the ball on it. Shaneequa also came out and chatted with me and got the mask ordered again, and even called me on the day of delivery to be expecting it that day. They were on it and got it resolved when I went back. The friendliness and competancy of the above office In S. PhoenixIs the only reason I raised rating from 1 star to 3.My experience leads me to believe that Pacific Pulmonary, at the Corporate or Regional level anyway, are very incompetent and werent able to resolve anything, thus me having to waste my time going back to the Phx Office.(Below was original review and 1 Star Rating)Im about to return all of their junk and go though some other place, my insurance company already knows the Issues Ive have with them.I went in to the office at 4130 E Wood St Suite 180, Phx AZ.I needed to replace my nose mask for a full face mask, because when I have allergies (which is a lot) I cant breath through my nose.I went back 5 weeks ago and worked with Shaneequa to get mask replaced. The mask I picked out wasnt in stock, so she said Ill order it and youll receive it in 3 days. That was 5 weeks ago, and still havent received it.What I have received is numerous calls saying Im in non-compliance. When I dont even have a mask that I can use. I have made it very clear numerous times that I have not received the mask. So finally some guy calls me the other day from Corporate and says I see here they say you received the mask. I said no I havent, I told the story once again for umpteenth time. That I went in to the lame S. Phx location. Picked a mask out with Shaneequa, she informed me that one wasnt in stock and shed get one ordered and Id get it in 3 days or so.Then he says...well I believe you havent received it, but youll have to go into the Phx office again and find out what happened. (Really!? You believe me Huh? Then send me the stupid mask already jerk)So I guess instead of them actually verifying I had it, they just marked that I received it, causing all this hassle.5 weeks ago, on my way out I asked for their phone no. in case there was an issue so I wouldnt have to go back there. The receptionist refused to give me their actual phone no. and just gave me some useless 800 no.Terrible Customer Service.

I used to do business with Symbius Medical and was happy with their services but at the start of 2019 they switched me over to Pacific Pulmonary. I found them expensive and slow to ship. I took my business to Amazon, where I found the same items MUCH cheaper. I cant process the supplies bought on Amazon thru my insurance, but theyve upped my deductible so high it doesnt matter anymore anyway. Ive asked Pacific Pulmonary 3 times to stop calling and they refuse. Ive filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List, but theyre useless so I guess the next complaint is to the BBB

Pacific Pulmonary sent an unsolicited instruction to my health provider instructing my health care provider to write a prescription authorizing Pacific Pulmonary to provide me with respiratory equipment that will be paid for by Medicare without my knowledge, consent, nor my interest in obtaining respiratory equipment from this highly disreputable company based on the lawsuits and complaints filed by their customers. Pacific. Pulmonary told me that they “have the right” to send these unsolicited instructions to health care providers and that patients have no say in the matter.I am awaiting a reply from Medicare’s Inspector General as to whether Pacific Pulmonary was truthful when they told me they “have the right” to send unsolicited instructions to health care providers requesting medical equipment prescriptions for patients and that Pacific Pulmonary does not have to inform patients that they are soliciting health care providers for prescriptions and that patients have no say in the matter.

Pacific Pulmonary has taken over MedOne. I called a month ago for CPAP re-supplies. I was on hold for 32 MINUTES!!! After a while it became a contest on who would win. Finally, I talked to a rep who said she would have supplies sent. Two weeks later I got the WRONG SUPPLIES! For the last two weeks I have been calling to send back the supplies sent in error and to order the right supplies.Pacific Pulmonary has a patient I.D. Number for me but that information has not been merged into the ‘re-supply department’. So they ‘have no record’ of me even though they shipped me the wrong supplies 3 weeks ago. I supplied them with their own order number and shipment I.D. number but ‘they still have ‘no record’ that I’m a patient! Beyond frustrating!! All I want is a return shipping label so I (Medicare) won’t be charged for the wrong supplies. Then I can find a new supplier!Pacific Pulmonary is THE WORST vendor in any industry that I have dealt with personally or professionally in my life. Avoid at all costs!

When a replacement hose did arrive, it wasnt even close to the one that fit his machine!!! His cardiologist has repeatedly told us that he is NOT to sleep without his CPAP- EVER! Not one person at Pacific Pulmonary cares. I dont think that the death of a customer would even get these peoples attention.
