Everyone at Pickerington Eyecare was extremely courteous and helpful in explaining what was being done as we went. Dr Mitchell explained the results very clearly. I came in nervous, but left at ease.

I appreciate the doctors in this practice. They patiently explain the changes happening in my eyes and treatment options. And, they are making use of some amazing technology to evaluate my aging eyes. The optician was incredibly helpful and patient in assisting me to choose frames for new glasses.

I was looking for an eye doctor and found Pickerington eyecare online. They are so professional and friendly. I learned things about my eyes that I didnt even know before. Very knowledgeable and kind and they make sure you understand everything. Would recommend and am so very glad I found this place. They have discounts even if you dont have eye insurance and also have active duty military discounts as well. So when I dont have insurance I know they have me covered. Staff are just amazing. Awesome job!

Love this place! Switched here over a year ago and today was second visit. Less than 5 minutes in waiting room and about one minute to wait for doctor after prelim tests. Dr. Rousch was great and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!!!

THE BEST eye care in the Greater Columbus area - and Ive been to a few for my weak little orbs. Transparent in all their pricing for frames, lenses, exams; their staff are all courteous, warm, and professional; and Dr. Storm is friendly, engaging, and an expert at his profession. Plus their selection of frames is vast. What more could you want from an optometrists office??

I’ve been going to the eye doctor all my life and have worn glasses since I was 12 and I was educated so much on my sight and how my eyes take extra measures to see. My previous prescription was too strong and I had no idea 😨😨!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The initial reason I came here is because my husband raves about them. Dr. Emily is the BEST! Like I’m obsessed. I want to be her friend lol 😂👌🏽. Highly recommend!

Ive been seeing Dr. Storm and the team at Pickerington Eyecare since I moved to the area almost 9 years ago. Theyve taken excellent care of my familys eyes and I have heartily recommended them to friends.

Im giving this rating due to the lack of comprehensive care provided by staff. I called to address this situation, and the first person I spoke with laughed regarding the severity of the situation, which is completely unacceptable. A patient of theirs had their eyes dialated during their appointment and was not well informed of what the dialation entailed nor the possible outcomes as a result of having their eyes dialated. After speaking on the phone with the front manager i was informed that they always do so but this was not the case in this situation. The patient was told that driving would be just fine and was not even offered sunglasses (which is their standard practice) to help with vision while driving home. No pertinent information was given regarding the service besides, “yup you’ll be fine to drive”. Unbelievably unprofessional and an incredible safety hazard for the patient. Gladly the patient made it home safely but what would’ve happened if they didn’t?

Professionally friendly front staff... Honestly too professional for me to say yeah, I feel welcomed by them, feeling tolerated is never comfortable. Lighten up a bit... were it not for their frigidity 5 stars!

They also explain very simply what they see, and problems that may be starting, with recommendations/suggestions for further steps needed.Their pandemic response is excellent.

Dr Ryen is one of the most caring doctors we’ve ever had for our kids. Recently one of our kids had an eye emergency and Dr Ryen made sure he was taken care of and followed up daily with us to make sure he was okay. He always takes his time with each visit and makes us feel welcome.

Was a very easy and seamless process to get new contacts and eyeglasses. In fact, while I originally was told my glasses could take up to two weeks to receive, they were able to call me an hour later and had them completed since the parts were in stock! Excellent service.

My family and I had a great experience with Pickerington Eye Care. Upon walking in we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and easily checked in. The building is very clean and offered activities for kids during our wait. We had amazing service and the doctor was wonderful with my kiddos. The service was seamless and the woman helping with picking out frames and ordering glasses was patient and walked through every detail with me. I highly recommend! They also offer specials for those who do not have insurance. We have insurance and all of my benefits were explained clearly and in detail. No hidden or unexpected costs! I have been going to Pickerington Eyecare (Doug Ryen) for many years now. Well before they were in the building they are in now. It has ALWAYS been a very good experience. They work with me in all areas to make sure I get the service I need. All the way from testing multiple contact lenses to making sure my costs are as low as possible, especially through a couple year stretch where they werent in my providers in-network group. I highly recommend this practice for anyones eye-care needs.

This was my first trip to an Optometrist in a long time and it was a really good experience from start to finish. Erin was my tech and Dr. Ryen was my doctor. They were very professional, patient with my questions, clear in their communication and were honestly just all around great. Amy helped me pick out sunglasses and there was nothing pushy or sales pressure from her at all. Like I said, great from start to finish.

I needed an optometrist to help with an issue I was experiencing. I called a couple before reaching their office and was immediately turned off by unpleasant folks on the phone or no answer at all. I was answered promptly and by a very sweet assistant. I got in the same day. The office is very modern and everyone was very nice and helpful! I’ll be back for my annual exam! Their frame selection looks amazing too!
