Amazing customer service, astoundingly knowledgeable

This place is awesome! Mr. &Mrs. Young were very attentive to the entire bridal party and worked with us with the brides budget! We were the only ppl in the bridal shop the entire wknd. The first dress the bride tried on was the ONE!They really went above and beyond the call of duty for us- even to opening the shop on Easter Sunday for out of town guests to come down to get fitted and try on 👗. We had a 3 day experience with them and it was well worth the trip from Las Vegas and Pennsylvania to say YES TO THE DRESS!!THANK YOU MR& MRS YOUNG FOR ALL YOU DID!!

Very kind and helped my bridesmaids and I find dresses they loved in the right color, with no hassle!

They were available & attentive; no problem at all with appointments, prices very reasonable.But the most important part is they provided my 87yo mother a beautiful dress, tailored to her body frame (dowager hump, small frame) for her wedding. We were almost hopeless by the time we got to them, but they made her look like a queen. Thank you & God Bless.

My daughter was getting married in Disney World. The owners were so polite and helpful. Rushed alterations after a vacation cruise 3 weeks before the wedding and adjusted the dress perfectly. They even hand beaded her dress seamlessly as the original pattern. They even removed beading under her arms so she wasn’t irritated by them and the dress still looked flawless. They were so personal and friendly. Even told us the history of how they had became “custom dress designers.”They eventually had to start selling rack dresses because the average person in our area couldn’t afford custom made dresses compared to rack dress prices that are sold in the chain store. Their dresses are unique, beautiful and are priced accordingly. I thank them for making the Wedding Dress shopping a breeze compared to Wedding planning. My daughter was a Beautiful, Elegant, Disney Bride.

Brought a dress for my wife there. Staff helped her find a dress, fitted her and alterated the dress to precisely fit her.I be back there again no doubt knowing my wife. 😊

Not fair. Hardworking woman who called to find out closing time. Was told 7pm. Got here at 6:10 and lights off, shop closed. Then, they have the nerve to have a sign posted saying closed Wednesday which is tomorrow. Extremely disgusted and disappointed. More than 3 other customers out here with me. No posted sign for an emergency either.

I searched all over town and could not find that special one of a kind “ WOW” gown for my 50th birthday .I found it here at bride and grooms!!!And they tailored it so meticulously and perfectly!A bit pricey due to all the tailoring work that had to be done..... BUT WORTH EVERY DIME!Now 2 yrs later my daughter is getting married next month and I searched all over for the perfect mother of the bride gown to no avail.I will return to this unique boutique and I’m sure they will deliver another awesome show stopper gown!

I had a wonderful shopping experience here! The sales associate asked me to try on a dress that I never wouldve tried on my own and I instantly fell in love with the dress. She listened to my budget requests and managed to find my dream dress within my budget. Their prices are very reasonable. I decided to change the dress a bit by adding a belt and they suggested sewing the belt onto the dress which made it much easier on my wedding day. The alterations were perfect! They requested I come back twice because they found little fixes during my fittings. In the end, I received many compliments on how the dress fit like a glove and looked as if the dress was custom made. I would recommend every bride visit!

Stopped in to view the dresses. I was shown one dress with holes in it. The other dress looked like it was worn. I was really disappointed in this place.

I came looking for my wedding dress. The appointment went very well. The girl was very helpful and attentive, and best of all I found my dress. After ordering, they gave me an estimated delivery date, and said they would call when it came in. I waited, and about a week after the date, I called to find the status of the dress, they then told me it was arriving the following day. I showed up, and I sat there for two hours, until they admitted they did not have my dress. The warehouse stated that the dress was delivered and signed for, they lost it... They told me they would make it up to me, and that it was okay, because there was still time.They reordered the dress, and I one again received no call from them, so I called the store, and the lady said my dress was there and that she had it in her hands. I went to pick it up, they asked if I was interested in any alterations. I said no unless it was free of seriously discounted because they had lost the previous dress. They then just awkwardly avoided the subject.They lost all trust and credibility when they lost my dress, and then would not own up to it. Not to mention they were not willing to make it right. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

If I could give zero stars I would! We ordered 4 dresses from Brides and Grooms and paid extra for rush shipping. When I called about the status of the dresses the day after they were due to arrive, I was told they hadnt come back in yet and try back the following week. That was unacceptable because we paid for rush shipping and for them to be in on that particular date. She then went to check the shipments that had recently been received and stated that the dresses were indeed there.We went to the shop the following day to pick up the 4 dresses, 2 gold, 2 teal; but was instead met with 3 dresses, 2 gold and 1 tea rose. When we pointed out the error, she was not apologetic and had no sense of urgency to correct the mistake. At one point the owner even raised her voice and turned her back to us, saying the error was not her fault. We understood it wasnt her fault, but it was her business so she had to be the one to correct the error. It took several phone calls and visits to the shop to make sure the order was quickly corrected.This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. If we had to do it all over again, we would have gone somewhere else to get our dresses, even if it meant paying a little bit more.

Always do well here getting a new ball gown, reasonable priced, heading back this week for year 3- nothing smells moldy the person that posted that has personal issues. I do not know the employees personally but they are all reasonable and kind. they have some crazy customers but that goes with the wedding experience.

I wish I would’ve listened to my gut feeling when I was saying I didn’t want to get my dress altered here. ‭While being altered for my dress I told Young multiple times that my one sleeve was still bigger then the other one. She quickly added more pins to tighten it and walked away. When I go pick up my dress my left sleeve fits nice and snug but she added buttons to the bottom of it that I didn’t need. But the right sleeve was still looser then the left one, the seam was slanted which made the buttons fall to my inner arm instead of my outer arm like the other one. And that same sleeve the bottom won’t stay snapped!!!

We had an amazing experience purchasing my daughters prom dress. Bernadette was so helpful and helped my daughter find the most beautiful dress. They have so many unique dresses at very reasonable prices. We left with her dream dress!

So many amazing dresses! The owners are very nice and willing to help. There are an enormous variety of dresses from prom to quinciñera to brides & bridesmaids dresses. Their prices are reasonable and if youre nice theyll work with you. In house alterations. Definitely give it a look!

Went in to look for a bridesmaids dress, 3 people in the store that worked there. The man was helpful, though he followed me through the store standing there staring at me while I’m looking through dresses. I tried one on, it didn’t go as well as I hoped. They asked if i wanted it and I said no thank you. One of the workers made a sly remark as I walked out of the store!!! Are you serious?? Would never recommend this place. Not to mention all the dresses had that old moldy smell as you walk through... I’d give it negative stars if I could.

This place was horrible. I went there because of all the great reviews.. when i got there i had to wait for someone to help me when I had an appointment.. then because it was prom season I only got bridal service because I said I was there to buy my dress today. Then to top it all off in the middle of my appointment the person helping me left me in the dressing room while she argued with another customer.. needless to say I loved the dress I was in however I didnt buy it because of the horrible customer service...worst bridal dress appointment ever and this was my first one ugh!

Loved it here!! Everybody was so helpful with helping me pick the perfect wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses. So glad I found Brides and Grooms and would RECOMMEND it to everyone and anyone :-)

The lady working on (6/11/18) was very nice and helpful a little small on the inside but not entirely small....plenty of prom dresses not many for 16 &18 I do recommend this place since they had a lot of prom dresses to choose from and a nice 3 way mirror with comfy chairs for guest

I was shopping around for a wedding dress. I tried calling in to make an appointment, and their voicemail (with a generic voicemail response, mind you) was full. Then I tried sending an email, but no response. I finally tried walking in, but not one single associate there even bothered to talk to me. I left after 5-10 minutes of walking around the disorganized store. I was just not ready to trust these disorganized people to handle my wedding dress.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is awful. The entire experience has been so disorganized. My wedding dress had a bunch of alterations to be done and Young (the owner) would never get them finished in a timely manner. I would check back 3 months later and nothing would be complete.All of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses there and she NEVER called to tell us they were in. WE would have to call and check, again months later...She sold one of my bridesmaids a dress that had been discontinued and didnt bother to notify us until 2 months later.When we went back to get a refund for said dress, the owners husband returns the refund amount to a random customers credit card instead of my bridesmaid.One bridesmaid went to try her dress and it took almost a half hour of waiting because the owner couldnt find her dress.The owner ordered my maid-of-honors dress in the wrong size resulting in it being too big. So when it came in, she had to get her measurements AGAIN and have it altered. The owner just took a lucky guess and when my MOH came back the dress was way too tight. The owner said my MOH was crazy (yes, she actually word for word, called her crazy!) and that we were disgusting people for telling her we werent paying for alterations that were not completed properly.The final straw was at the very end when it was time to pick up my finished wedding dress. I had lost weight so it was very loose on me. To the point that I could lift my arms up and it would fall off. The owner REFUSED to alter it and said that it was fine. So the alterations I had originally paid for in the beginning, never got completed. I ended up having to have it altered elsewhere a month before the wedding. (I included a picture!)I will NEVER recommend this place. At the end of the day, the prices may seem okay, but the service is terrible!!! Save yourself the headache!

I bought my wedding gown here. The dress are beautiful and the employees are very helpful with picking out a dress. Bridal dress prices are very reasonable but alterations is ridiculous! After purchasing my dress i was told to get a call but never did, and it didnt arrive when they told me to luckly i had time. You have to keep calling.

Absolutely worst experience ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would! I put down a deposit on my wedding dress in May. I was promised by the bridal manager that my dress will arrive 9/30. If the dress wasn’t there by 9/30 then I will get my refund back. I made sure the woman put this in writing and signed. Reason being, because I heard incidents happening like this while reading previous reviews from this establishment. I kept calling the shop asking for updates on my dress and was always assured that my dress will come in time. I came in today 10/1 looking for my dress. To my surprise NO dress. When asked about my refund, she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. I then showed her the receipt she signed and what she promised. She starts speaking in her native tounge and disappears. She comes back with the exact dress I order and tells me to try it on. She then try’s to tell me this is my dress. I had to kindly notify this isn’t my dress because it’s not my side for one and second, the dress was already altered!At this point, I don’t feel comfortable dealing business with this woman and requested a full refund. She takes my document that she previously signs and leaves me in the dressing room. I asked for my original receipt and she then claims that she lost it. This woman really tried to assault my intelligence. It took me having to threat her with a lawyer and getting out of character to get results. The second owner comes out very calm and apologetic. I explain the situation and he proceeded to give me my refund. The woman was upset by this and causing a scene. She repeadly yelled, “ I hope you die.” “I hope you get hit my a car.” I was so upset and couldn’t believe this nasty woman would wish death upon me. No customer should have to go through this. I highly advise no one to do business with that nasty woman!

Getting married 17th February

BRIDES BEWARE!If I could rate this place in the negative, I would. After hearing horror stories about this store, I was hesitant to go however, they were the only place that carried the gown I wanted that wasnt too far away. The process of picking out my gown was pleasant; it wasnt until after they received my payment and the alterations began that the nightmare started.My gown was a little too poofy for my liking so I had asked them to remove some layers. I went back a few weeks after my first fitting to try the dress on, with the layers removed, to discover they had cut a huge hole right in the front while removing the layers. I pointed the mistake out to the owners who then tried to blame me for the hole. After explaining to them there was no way I could have done this (considering I had no shoes on or anything that would have caught the dress) they finally agreed to fix it.While standing in the store, discussing how to fix the dress, they said they would remove the fabric and replace it with a whole new fabric. My mom and I agreed to this and left with an appointment to try the dress on again. The next day mom still didnt feel comfortable with our experience and was very stressed on the unknown outcome of my dress so she called to express her concerns. The owner talked her into, instead of replacing the fabric, to sew a seam down the front where the hole was.We went to try the dress on, after it was fixed to discover it did not look perfect like he had promised. After having them cut the hole in my dress and mess up a few other minor alterations they were supposed to do, my mom and I deemed it to be best to take the dress somewhere else to be finished. When we went to get the dress the owner wanted to charge us for the alterations that had happened because of their mistakes. After basically being called a brat and having the owner tell me he doesnt want my kind in his store and trying to explain to him we shouldnt have to pay, we ended up doing so just to get my dress out of the store. Brides beware of this store and their extreme lack of customer service, lack of respect, and unprofessionalism.

I had such a great experience at this place. I visited this shop in November, but did not know what I wanted. After doing some research over the months, I found out that they carry a designer that I really wanted to wear, Maggie Sottero. I went back in March and met with the bridal consultant Bridget. She was very helpful and had such a friendly, warm demeanor. I told her my budget and she helped me find 5 gowns around that range. That day I found the gown of my dreams. It so happens that the gown was being discontinued, so I was able to purchase it off the rack for a big discount! The only negative was that the gown was a size 12 and Im a size 2. Well, they have an AMAZING seamstress, Mr. Hy Lim, who was able to fit the gown to my body. It looks perfect! The alterations were a little pricey but they were worth it. They were able to complete my alterations within a couple of weeks and allowed me to have multiple fittings to perfect them. I definitely recommend this shop!Word of Advice: Do not buy your dress around prom season. Alterations take longer due to the amount of prom go-ers needing alterations.

The customer service was terrible.... when ordered a gown here they said gown would be ready may 8th and never called we had to call them, dress wasnt in on may 8th they then said it would be ready... still wasnt ready they didnt call again I had to call them, they then said the dress would be there june 8, again the dress was still not in .... it finally comes in june18th because it took so long to get dress here now alterations cant be done.

Didnt like that we couldnt change the dtess....nobody told us. Staff are nice
