My husband and I love this place. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Safe, family-friendly atmosphere. Pre-Covid they were a community gaming space and hope to be so again when it is safe to do so. This a locally-owned and operated small business worth supporting not only as a retail space, but as a community resource for all ages.

I recently found The Game Haven about a month ago. I cant recommend Jake, and Mike enough!! These guys are awesome to deal with. Very cool atmosphere as well.

Ive been to this shop a few times and have always had exceptionally positive experiences with their staff. The selection is small but high quality and a lot of new and popular games. The staff are super knowledgable and friendly without hovering. If you dont see something, ask them, they might have it in the back or be able to order it for you (or suggest an alternative).They also have a good sized play area in the back.Oh and if you are into Magic, this is definitely the place for you.

Found this recently and the store is great. The staff are helpful and very patient with you. There are also tables in the back for playing. I wish they had a larger board game selection but their store smaller than most so they dont have that much space to dedicate to cards, board games, and misc. items.

The management and staff cultivate a warm atmosphere for gamers of all ages. They host board game nights where they will demo a board game. They host magic events of multiple formats and the locals are wonderful depictions of that variety while being excellent company as well.

Clean, brightly lit, inviting, good selection of board games. Mediocre selection of role playing games. Excellent selection of open box games to play in the store -- one of the best Ive seen. On this occasion, a few moms were teaching games to kids. Adults in several groups were gaming too. Very friendly and helpful staff, which isnt true of all game stores.

Visited The Game Haven while visiting Pikesville to pick up some MTG singles and also a board game for my grandmothers birthday. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We found a great game for my grandma (she LOVED it) and I got what I wanted too. The best part about The Game Haven though is that they have done what few other game stores have been able to do: create a diverse and casual atmosphere that truly feels inclusive. They are really unique in this way and I wish this place was in my hometown.

They also regularly host Magic the Gathering events, and have a wide variety of singles and sealed products. Theres also a huge collection of open board games that are free to play.

In addition to their fine collection of games to buy, they welcome people to come and play for free their playable copies of more than 225 different tabletop games, which are also available for rent. A lovely little game store that caters to MTG and boardgame players. The store holds weekly events like its boardgame night, when folks gather to play a particular boardgame and sales of that are discounted. The staff has been nothing but friendly every time my roommate and I visit.
