A bit of a drive for us from the Triangle, but worth it. Was selling gold and silver coins, and received more than what I was expecting, mainly because they knew the value of certain coins was more than just the ore value. Honest and knowledgeable, strong personal service, nice new facility.

Aside from some difficulty getting acknowledged at the front door and getting buzzed in, I was highly impressed after my visit this morning. The rep was very professional even suggesting I could probably do a little better price-wise selling my silver jewelry online or on consignment versus just cashing it in. I also liked the individual rooms which were private and not out in the open like other gold exchange places are. I will definitely return here when the need arises.

This company has a monopoly of coins on eBay and pays people to act as bots to go on the US mint to buy up all new releases so the average coin collector doesn’t have a chance. Then they presale everything, some at high prices others at reasonable prices. We bought several coins from them. However there was an error on one of our orders and this had to do with the grading. The employee was so rude and over-talked on the phone, we could not get a word in. They refused to correct the problem and blocked our ability to buy on eBay from them in the future just because we had a problem with one of their products.

I have bought from them on eBay and realize that they are close by. They had excellent prices on eBay, I can only imagine what the prices are in the store. Thanks for the wonderful experience, the business was very fast on shipment, very accurate description, very pleasant to deal with compared to other coin dealers. Now that I know I am close to them I will be visiting their store. I cant wait to see their variety.

Placed orders through eBay over a week ago was told items were not kept at their fulfillment location. A week later coins still havent shipped. Looking at reviews everyone either has a problem with shipping or has 1 review saying shipment was fast. Seems like a scam or they do not have product on hand and have friends boosting reviews when this arises. eBay gives about 2/3 weeks for items to ship so will wait and see what transpires going forwards but very very concerned about what is transpiring

Loved this place! I spent hours there today, having coins and jewelry appraised. They were super knowledgeable, very fair and the gentleman explained everything he was looking at and for. I didnt buy any coins(yet), they have a gorgeous display of a huge variety of different coins. Everything is done right in front of you, nothing is ever removed from your sight. Just a really cool place!

I have been with EBay over 20 years and my transaction with this seller was the absolute worst. They say in their reviews that they are proud of their shipping staff. Fact is there is nothing to be proud of! They do warn about “third party” shipping delays but when they take almost four weeks just to get one silver eagle into the possession of that third party shipper, that’s all on them. Total lack of customer service and doesn’t take responsibility for their failures. If you can’t ship items in a timely manner then hire more people. I will never buy another item from this seller. I know you like to say my order was placed on 3-20 but you know as well as I that my order was placed on 3-4, then I filed a complaint with EBay and they told me I had to wait until the 19th. The 20th is when you finally decided to package ship and bill my credit card. You took over a month! Even after you made a shipping label it took three more days just to get it to the post office.

This place is selling silver it does not have possession of on eBay to take advantage of inflated prices. I paid well over spot for quick delivery and was told 24 hours after payment was sent I was going to have to wait 5-10 business days for shipment. Unacceptable. It’s businesses that operate like this that screw with physical prices. These people are dishonest avoid.

Over a month ago I purchased 8 Silver Eagles.A month later, I still dont have a ship date & I need to contact my bank to get customer service from this business.Why does it take over a month to ship in-stock products?Poor customer service, atrocious shipping speed, overpriced. All around terrible option when there are so many shops that will ship your order in a week or less. Go elsewhere.

I ordered 75 silver Maple coins and…I ordered 75 silver Maple coins and paid for them with a credit card however the coins were stolen by a postal worker who delivered an empty box at my door after cutting the box open and resealing it with a different type of tape on only one side. The postal delivery person then lied about me signing for the delivery. I can prove I was not home at the time and that I could not have signed for the delivery. I made a police report about the theft and also contacted the postal inspector. Pinehurst coins refused to resend the coins that I purchased from them. I will probably now have to file a lawsuit against Pinehurst coins in order to get the coins that I have purchased from them.

Not a better place to buy Silver Eagles online. I have used then a half dozen times ..No worries

This is my personal buying experience with Pinehurst Coins, and I hope you will find that it helps you with making your decision to move forward and buy from this business.I was a little skeptical initially because Ive seen some negative reviews in regards to shipping times, especially on their eBay page. I found this business on eBay but it wouldnt let me purchase the coin from there (due to eBay Buyer Protection Security Holds), so I came to their official website and checked it out. I called first, spoke with Casey, and she helped me find the exact same product by SKU just to be sure I was purchasing the correct item. She was super friendly and understanding of my situation. I would say Casey went above and beyond to help me out, and for that, I am grateful. I was kind of weary at first, but the company seemed to be legit. They have a ton of reviews on eBay and on their Google page as well, so I decided to go ahead and purchase the coin. I bought a .9999 Fine Gold MS70 2020 Buffalo G$50, and I then expected to play the waiting game. I was told that shipping may be a little delayed due to the high volume of orders they are dealing with, but that it shouldnt be anything too unreasonable or drastic.The order was placed on Friday, February 19th, and it was delivered by that very next Friday on February 26th. They kept me updated throughout the whole process via e-mail, and that was much appreciated. I was always kept aware of what was going on with my order.The coin arrived in the exact condition I was hoping it would arrive in. The box was packaged nicely and the presentation was very official and professional. I verified the coin by cross referencing it with the NGC database (cause why not?) Ive attached the photos. You can actually see that the product I received had a very small fuzzy on the bottom left protective NGC slab, and that same exact fuzzy is on the official photo on the NGC website. So not only was the shipping super fast, but I know with 100% certainty that this product is absolutely authentic.Ive seen some negative reviews but I think thats always gonna be a present issue, especially when you consider the amount of volume this business interacts with. I think its easy to focus on the negatives, that tends to be human nature, but when you honestly ratio the negatives to the positives, this shop seems to be doing quite well.Im sure theyll have an occasional hiccup here and there, and I know theyll probably fall short some times, but honestly - These things happen. For this particular buying transaction though, everything went as smooth as one could hope it would go.Overall, my buying experience was one I would recommend.
