My renovation has been full of ups and downs, but by far the highlight of the process has been dealing with Chanda at the Pinehurst Schneider Stone location. From the first day that my wife and I went into their showroom, she took the time necessary to properly educate us. Even through our constant changes on the design, Chanda would stay patient and give constructive feedback.The final result has been outstanding, and we have countertops that will last the rest of our lives. Chanda, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did!

Schneider Stone did an excellent job from start to finish with our new kitchen counters. We started our countertop journey with another company in the area and after getting ignored and treated poorly we went in search of a different company. We stopped in one morning to the Pinehurst location and were welcomed and had the process started and going by the time we walked out. If you want solid customer service, people who truly know what they’re talking about and beautiful countertops, I definitely recommend Schneider Stone!

Amazing & Extremely professional Design Consultant- Chanda Strother helped us with selections - we used her recommendation of Steel Grey Granite. Service was Superior! She had to reschedule our job due to builder being behind several times and was extremely patient and accommodating. Looks GREAT! Definitely will send our friends her way.

Schneider Stone replaced the granite on our kitchen island, master vanities, and on our laundry room sink. Our experience was wonderful. From the help we got in the showroom with Chanda, to the communication of appointments and scheduling, and throughout the installation process, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and timely. We chose Schneider Stone because of the professional handling of our project. The price is too high. at home depot we got half the price for the same material. as well as we were asked stupid questions, we waited a week for the price !!! Home depot gave us the price list right away.

I replaced the countertops in my kitchen with Quartz. As soon as I walked into the Pinehurst showroom I saw what I wanted. Chanda was wonderful to work with, as was everyone at Schneider Stone. They communicated and followed up on every item. My countertops are installed and they are wonderful. Every step of this experience was excellent. Chanda really helped me understand the different types of stone and narrow down my options. She took precise measurements and followed our order assuring all was correct. Our cabinet guys were particularly impressed with her precision. We’ve done business with Schneider a few times and have always been pleased.

June 2020: Starting with the end first, working with Schneider Stone (and specifically Chanda Strother) was the best customer experience Ive had in several decades of minor and major renovation projects.  At the end of the day, I have beautiful counters installed that were within budget AND on time.  But, was it interesting!My project started very normally for me as a very recent transplant to the area wandering into the Pinehurst storefront.  I immediately saw several samples I liked and spoke with Chanda about next steps.  Within minutes, she drew up a rough sketch of my counters that I put measurements to that night.  By the next morning, I had an approximate quantity and ballpark pricing (that held right through the conclusion of my project!!).  Although my contractor had a partnership with a different countertop company who I also visited, Chanda was different.  She was inquisitive as to what I wanted in my kitchen versus what she had to sell me and was extremely responsive, clear and concise in her explanations.  Ultimately, I had no concern giving up the convenience of my Contractors choice knowing Chanda was there more as a safety net, or so I thought...And then the unprecedented situation with Covid-19 began about 2 weeks later and I was very concerned whether this project would plug seamlessly into my larger renovation project.  Like most establishments, Schneider and their suppliers physically shut their doors, but Chanda was still on the job.  She immediately let me know what was happening with several unknowns mostly relating to suppliers reiterating she would fill in process gaps shortly.  And she did.  In no time, a modified process was in place.  Chanda was tremendously helpful verifying availability and pricing of select granite I initially viewed on-line to narrow down my choices for in-person appointments at the suppliers she also coordinated.  While visiting one supplier (Cosmos), I saw a slab that was not on my short list that I wanted to go with.  Chanda was already working on this change by the time I called her from my car to let her know.  Chanda coordinated all facets including appointments for templating, layout and install with her Schneider colleagues who were also all top-notch.Whether youre experienced in this process or not and despite an unprecedented challenge or two, Chanda provides in an unparalleled way an invaluable service while managing out aspects of the process that can prove overwhelming.  I will always call Chanda/Schneider first for any future projects.

Excellent experience working with Chanda Strother at the Pinehurst Schneider Stone showroom. Very good ideas and suggestions and always looking to keep the price reasonable. Made a great recommendation for us to visit the main showroom in Asheboro to view a large number of slabs and samples. We were able to select a quartz remnant for a second bath and a granite piece from Their STOCK line which was less expensive. Chanda was on top of all scheduling and coordibnated with the contractor very well. A pleasure to work with her.Spring 2020

David notified me when he was on the way and arrived within the original appointment time frame I was given. David was professional, informative, tidy - and great with my dogs. Schneider Stone provided and installed all our counter tops in our new home. Chandra in Pinehurst couldnt have been more knowledgeable or professional. She was patient with us allowing us to explore all options before choosing our final product. Installation went without any problems and we have not had any issues with the tops since. We were remodeling our kitchen and contacted Chanda. She came and looked at our kitchen and suggested granite. After looking at samples.. she found us the most amazing looking Granite at The Schneider Stone yard. The counter tops are simply beautiful. She added a little shelf behind the corner sink which made such a difference. We absolutely love them and have had so many compliments. The guys who installed were the most pleasant guys to be around. And knew exactly what they were doing. Highly Recommend!!

Chanda Strother and Stephen Hayworth are awesome to work with! I had a cracked granite sink bar and replacing the entire granite countertop wasnt an option financially. They came up with the idea of replacing the existing undermount sink with a farmhouse topmount sink to hide where the cracked sink bar was cut out. Worked out beautifully! I couldnt be happier with the outcome, and very appreciative of their over and beyond customer service.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, conscientious, and thoughtful. They had wonderful ideas, keeping costs in check and delivered as promised. From gathering information at Pinehurst location to visiting Ashboro showroom to choose from a large selection of remnants ( for a small bathroom countertop) to installation, I couldn’t have been happier. I have 2 beautiful new bathrooms and all we did was replace countertops and paint. So if you are new to the area (as we are) Schneider Stone is a great place to work with if you want to add some beauty to your home.

Unlike many granite or quartz products, we chose a white macaubas quartzite which has a strong linear pattern. That in itself required precise design, measurement, cut, and installation.
