My experience with Counter Effects started with me stopping in unannounced at the shop to ask for assistance with a DIY kitchen countertop repair in my parents home in the Mainlands. I was offered assistance, given time and even a sample to assist me in the repair. In the end the countertop had additional water damage to the point it wasnt repairable. Greg and his assistant were amazing in replacing the counters within budget, on time and with hard to find detail. I would highly recommend Counter Effects.

We contracted the services of Greg and his partner to help us have a new bathroom vanity. This was accomplished by the refacing of our existing vanity with drawers added to make life easier. A Corian countertop was added along with a Corian sink. Cleanup of the vanity has been made easier. Greg custom designed a new medicine cabinet and installed a painted frame mirror to match in style and color. He also gave great attention to ensure that a purchased vanity light would fit and work in the color scheme of our bathroom. The whole bathroom was given new life with all of these details. We appreciate his hard work and determination and felt respected and heard by Greg throughout the whole project. We will not hesitate to ask for his help in the future.

Hello Google review readers! Im back to review another job done by Greg at Counter Effects. He has done 3 other jobs for me and this is #4. It is a small job and Im grateful that I even find ANYONE to do small (but unique) job. #1=kitchen reno #2=upgraded bathroom cabinets #3=created a one of a kind rolling island/desk/bar for kitchen area with antique legs I found at a salvage. For #4, I asked Greg to wrap 3 discarded aluminum / metal strips around the kitchen peninsula plus make a custom cool wine storage cabinet on the back side of an end cabinet that was dead space inside (so deep you had to crawl into the sink base cabinet). I had been holding on to a picture of this wine cabinet from a magazine. All I have to do is give Greg a picture and point to the pile of metal and wah-la my dream comes true! Greg is a master at doing the math. Measure, measure, measure, so no mistakes. He goes over and beyond offering options and tweeking things at the end. I found Counter Effects online and searched reviews. I was pleased to find no negative reviews and reviewers seemed really pleased working with the owner, Greg. I drove by his business to “check it out” and found it closed (out working a job). I noticed a pad and pen encased in a plastic holder on the door, so I left a brief note and my phone number. Greg contacted me a few days later (shocker). We discussed my needs and set a time and date for him to come out which he adhered to. He listened to my wants and sent me via email a price range for the job. I had him provide a breakdown of two stages in case I could not handle the financial outcome all at once. Breakdown stage 1: countertops, sink, faucet and stage 2: new cabinet doors. Greg came out many times to provide different choices/selections and then measuring and re-measuring once the job got underway. He touched base with me at the very least weekly to let me know where we were in the process. He even texted me pictures from the shop of the countertop design progression. I could go on and on but I don’t want to lose any readers to a long review. In short, you will be satisfied with this company’s work and Greg’s determination to please. He is extremely organized and precise in his work. My kitchen looks completely brand new. You will find attached photos : before pic and 5 finish pictures. Not knowing what to do I contacted counter effects. I needed to have a bowl sink installed in my bathroom. Efren and Greg made it happen effortlessly quickly and did a perfect job helping me update my mobile home. I highly recommend this company for all counter top, kitchen and bathroom projects. All the good things you read here about Counter Effects and Greg are on the money. Greg did a superb job of creating and installing our cabinets last year and were great enough to make a few needed tweaks since then. My wife and I cant recommend Counter Effects enough.

We had 2 large work tables created by Greg. He came out to our warehouse and talked us through all our options including build styles and dimensions to fit in the space we had and with the other equipment that was going in. Not only did he build the tables to an amazing fit, but he was able to find laminate that almost perfectly matches our old tables’ which is no longer available. He also put together some side tables and matched the stain with our old one’s so well you’d think he built the originals. These guys are amazing!

I cant say enough good things about Greg at Counter Effects. He is conscientious, detail oriented and professional. He has done the kitchen cabinets in two of our homes and I highly recommend him. I had my kitchen re-done, new counters, cabinets re-faced & I also needed a cabinet built. I had the dishwasher removed & a cabinet built to replace it. Greg did a great job. I love the Corian counter tops. The new cabinet also has a pull out, deep bottom drawer, and he installed another pull out drawer in another bottom cabinet. Greg got it all done in the time frame he promised & it is beautiful.

I was very pleased with the service Greg provided. He did a fantastic job refinishing the counter surface in my newly purchased home, along with matching the material to extend the counter for a kitchen expansion project and breakfast bar. Greg contributed good ideas to the overall project, and we were very pleased with the fabrication of the new counter surfaces. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend his services.

Greg Surprenant designed and built a corian counter top for our laundry area. It is perfect! He listened to what we wanted, and did the work in a timely fashion. And thats not all; hes a really nice guy too.

Greg installed granite countertops and a stainless steel sink and faucet in our outdated kitchen. He also added a pull-out trash can in place of a cabinet. The entire process was quick and the work that he did has totally revitalized our kitchen area. His attention to details and concern over small aspects of the job were very important to us. He wanted to make sure that the job was done RIGHT and we felt VERY comfortable throughout the entire process. Most importantly, the finished product is exactly what we wanted and fantastic! We highly recommend him!
