Visited in first week of November 21. Grass om the greens was virtually non existent, or the greens were soaked and spongey. The tee boxes were moved up as what appeared to be temporary tee boxes, but were also in extremely poor condition. Pace of play was also awful, likely due to the lack of a ranger. The staff was very pleasant and nice, but the overall course condition was very poorly maintained.

I move to Florida to relax and play some golf. This is the first place I play and went back a couple of times enjoying each time. The course is better then the ones I played in Pennsylvania. I will be going back again.

Solid course, easy to play, good ground maintenance, greens were a bit slow but still a fun course to play on.

Small course comfortable if its wet out this will be one of the few courses thats mostly dry.

Nice course!!! Good pricing!! If you can drive the ball you may get on the green in 1 on a par 4. Great course to work on your short game

Played a round here at my local go-to course for an afternoon game with my friend Bob on Memorial Day. Not crowded, everyone was friendly and polite towards me (as they always are!) and we had an enjoyable round of golf…plus I shot an 84 - no handicap! 😁

If i could rate this course 0 i would.NO STARTER . PACE OF PLAY UNREAL ..so slow i left after 9 holes need marshal extremely bad .. CART FILTHY.. had to clean it before i would sit in it,, im sorry my advice GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

A great beginners course. Very forgiving and decent grounds.

Fun, short course inside a retirement community. Great for an irons-only round for us wannabe pros, but do take a 250-300 yard club for the various short par 4s. Driving the par 4 greens must be properly experienced... we all love that eagle putt! Greens are a little slow due to the grass type, but put true mostly. Take the beginners for non-pressure practice rounds, as many of the local 55 and over crew play early.

Greens need some work but overall a good place to golf.

Nice, short track.Pretty good shape.Ran into a 5 some on the back nine that slowed everything up, only to find out they dont allow 5 domes.But no ranger.!!Friendly staff.

I called the clubhouse around 10:40 a.m. super cool dude with a Northeastern accentAnswered the phone and got me in with a ride-along non golfer at 11:30.I only had time for 9.The price was so reasonable I dont even remember how much it cost. Bottom line is my wife witnessed me chip in a beauty for birdie after taking a drop cause my drive went in the water on the par 5. We high fived and celebratedand it was definitely one of those moments I will talk about for ever.☺ Greens a lil rough and I still loved it. 😀

One of my favorite courses. Get to use all clubs in the bag, and finish a around in under 3 hours. Current month (Aug 2020) offering no cart fees! Thank you, Mainlands :) Currently having an issue on a few of their greens, but still a great value and overall, the course is in good shape.

Nice public golf course. We went out at 11am for $33/ 18 holes. Course didnt have too much water or sand, which made it enjoyable as we are not excellent golfers. Would play here again.

Absolutely great people working in the pro shop. Hands down not the best golf course at all. The greens suck and there are powerlines running through the whole course. I didnt hate it. Ill probably play it again. Honestly the dudes at the pro shop were so cool that Id give it another go. I had a birdie on one of their par fours so I felt good about the day.

This golf course holds a special place in my heart. I have probably played here 100 times over the last 15 years. But today the course is in terrible shape. The greens are spotchy at best and very very slow. Fairways are long and the rough looks lore like a cow pasture. It is sad to see the shape the course is in. When it is in good shape, this is a short course that allows you to hit all the clubs in your bag and play 18 holes in 3 hrs. I hope it gets some love. Until then I wont be back. Sad.

Look, this isnt a country club, or even a county course, the greens could use a lot of work, and there are some power lines. What it is is a decently varied short track, at a great price, with awesome people (staff and players). Dont go here looking for pristine conditions, but do go for a great round of golf regardless.

Horrible! Hands down worst course I’ve ever played. Course was in bad shape, Greens are nothing but dirt and large clumped up weeds. I had multiple golf balls hit at me. No starter so everyone was bunched up could not play through and people were on cell phones screaming and playing loud speakers. Went to get refund but apparently they can’t even do that. The office guys were terrible and argued with me the whole time. Never had such a bad experience golfing and had to leave. Do not recommend to anyone, no matter how cheap.

Great course, good price

This is without a doubt the worst course I have ever played in my life. What a waste of money! Should have quit and demanded my money back, especially after they charged winter rates during the summer! The greens, if you can call them that, had huge patches of just plain dirt and no grass and where there was grass I don’t think they had been cut in days. I will never ever play there again. My partner agrees. Don’t frustrate yourself or waste your money. You can play Saddlebrook for the same price or a lot of courses that are in good shape for less.

Friendly staff, great price, and a very well kept course. I would recommend this place to everyone. Whenever I have friends and family in town I take them here for 18 holes.

Not a bad course to play. They over. Load it though and most of those damn Canadians and Pinellas Parker’s have no golf course etiquette. You will be there allllll day. Even if you’re a single or double behind a foursome nobody will let you play through.

Was at the mainlands golf course as I do a couple of lawn maintenance jobs in the mainlands community, it is a well-kept and well-managed friendly community

Noticed the prices have gone up recently have not seen any fairways greens that match the prices compared to other courses. Still a decent spot to get a quick round in.

Not a bad course, decent prices and alright greens. Great place to come if you want to practice. They do have a 19th hole with a kitchen. So come out and enjoy.

Small par 67. Good lay out on back nine. Fun course except for #3 and#4. Bit over priced,but still ok. Good time from May to Sept. After that snow birds push everyone else out.

Well maintained, open course. Excellent staff that really looked after us. Good price for the round. We played two rounds here and will go back next time we are in the area. I cannot say enough good things about the staff when we were there, so I will just say, Thanks a bunch!!!

I would never play here again. The price for the quality is terrible. If you’re looking to overpay for terrible greens and fairways then play here, otherwise, you could play higher quality for less within 20 minutes almost any direction. When you book a tee time for 18 holes and a cart, it gives you the option to get an electric cart for 5 more dollars.. well instead when you check in at the pro shop, they just add that 5 dollars on and what do you get? A gas cart. I don’t care which type of cart I have, but don’t add extra charges on for things I’m unaware of. For 37 dollars total, to play a 4500 yard course.. go play somewhere else. I will never go back.

Played 18 holes with my father. Course was super short and it took much longer than it should to play 18. The starter was in charge and loved every minute of it. Not the nicest. All the houses are white which makes it different to say the least. Power lones WILL be in your way. Slowest greens I have ever played on. Wont be back.

Nice open layout, well kept greens. Plenty of birdie opportunities if you are striking the ball well.

Nice course for a beginner or a geezer. Greens roll nice, sometimes a little slow, but not always. Its a nice layout with a few interesting holes. Good practice, leave your driver at home. For the most part, the staff is friendly. Good deals in the pro shop.

Friendly and fun place to visit and play! Ive been at this golf course several times now, ran into different people in the golf shop snd they have all been super nice! Course is in VERY GOOD shape(3 others in the area I visited were in horrible shape, fairways to greens!). If you want a great golfing experience! Here you cant miss!!

Hello, I played a round for my birthday on october 14th with three of my friends, I o appreciate a free round for the birthday thanks, but I have to say I have been playing for 6 years. I am really disappointed and now my friends were as well the Conditions were Horrible, Not sure what going on at the golf course, It appears to me they are not taking care of the golf course, the greens if that is what you call them, then that is sad.mostly sand and holes and nothing smooth at all even a temporary green. one green was completely wet you splashed as you walked. No More, Please take care of the course or sell to someone who can care for it.

Fun place to play. Short course but very fun for an easygoing round. I brought my son with me hes under 10 and they were extremely kind and welcoming to my son and I. There was some slow play but the service and the course overshadowed that.

Its a decent course to play on. Nothing fancy, but a nice novice course, thats pretty easy compared to most. The prices were average for what you get. The only downfall to the course was the big powerlines.

The course is super short no need to use driver, but you need to know where holes are to score well. Staff is very friendly. Got paired up with a local player who helped me out w the course. You can play 18 in about 3:10...nice cost is good 26.75, 18 w cart...hot dog, sm drink, and chips 😊😊

Fairways are looking good. Greens are better, but always awful slow and bumpy. You dont come here for putting practice.

Course very nice. Shot 78 but missed several putts that could of left me on the lower 70s. People always friendly.

A course with great greens

We had a perfect day on Mainlands today, played with my 96 year old father. Everybody was friendly except the foursome in front of us, they got a little testy. They weren’t keeping up and I guess they thought we were pressing them. When we finished, I asked and there had been a 30 minute gap.
