I thought I knew balloons...but then Shawn showed up and changed the entire GAME!I hired funk|BALLOON to install a huuuuuge jewel tone balloon cloud for guests to take photos with during the cocktail hour of my wedding, and I have zero regrets. Our venue was huge, and the balloons helped carry our colors and theme cohesively throughout the space, plus the guests loved taking their photos in front of them!I cannot hype Shawn and his team up enough, and as a fellow vendor in the events industry, I send all of my clients his way. We had Funk Balloon do a balloon art installation at the reception venue for our wedding. Shawn and his team were so fun to work with, and what they created was incredible! The colorway was perfect for our springy floral theme, and it really set a celebratory tone from the moment our guests pulled into the parking lot. I especially appreciated that Shawn worked with the owner of our venue and was sensitive to her concerns about installation on a historic facade. He didn’t leave a mark! It was a great experience, and the balloons were the star of our reception photos.

These gents hooked it up for my Dads Birthday - on VERY short notice - I mean were talking a few hours in which I requested delivery! I recently dealt with another party retailer in the summer, and was unimpressed by their service and delivery. This time around, I did not even really know where to look - and then funk|BALLOON.The folks at funk|BALLLOON were incredibly easy to deal with, accommodating, and service was IMPECCABLE. I appreciate the fact that I can go into Von Walter & Funk and find the unique gifts that I need for certain occasions. Ive purchased unique Christmas gifts (antique depression glass salt and pepper shakers), birthday presents (a fussy coffee table book with photos of the dogs of Paris), and a wedding gift (vintage mid-century cocktail glasses and matching glass ice bucket, all in a custom carrier) there. Ive also found cards that were perfect for the occasion (for example, a Mrs. and Mrs. wedding card).If you like a mix of old and new, along with a variety of gift options (for yourself, or someone else) Von Walter & Funk should definitely be on your to-visit list in Lawrenceville.

The space itself is beautifully decorated and absolutely stocked with just about anything youd need for a gift - grooming, apothecary, barware, home goods, antiques and everything in between. One of the cutest lifestyle boutiques in the city. All kinds of really curated, high-end, home goods... plus cards, local artisan jewelry, bougie little knick knacks. They did a balloon install for a Galentines Day event for me and I got so many compliments on it. It’s actually still up and have gotten me a ton of business. The balloons were worth every penny!
