Fresh and inexpensive produce - sometimes varieties I can’t find elsewhere in the city. A great place to pick up staples and find new items to try - I could wander the aisles for hours.

This store is very overwhelming they have alot of stuff in a space that seems to be in need of more room. I cannot express how much goods they have here i could literally spend an hour or more shopping in this store. 4 out of 5 given only because it is so hard to navigate with the sheer amount of inventory in the space given if better organized it would be a 5 star all day long. If you love asian food you need to go here seriously.

Weve been stopping at WFH for years. Its a traditional urban grocery, but with a dedicated parking lot. Very convenient, but watch out for the giant pothole. If you havent been here yet, and youre a suburbanite like me, expect it to feel very small, somewhat stuffy, and quite overstocked. In other words, authentic. Dont worry, youll become quite comfortable with it in a few minutes. This place has been here for many years, and I hope it stays here for many more.

Pro: you will find what you are looking for. Every type of Asian sauce was available. Very helpful cashier. Answered my phone call promptly and was able to tell me what they carried in the store.Con: very crowded. Boxes are everywhere. Some items don’t have price tags. I had a cart with me that I couldn’t stroll with because of boxes.Recommendation to owner: hire an experienced store organizers. Also hire seasonal workers. 3 people can’t keep up with a huge store.Parting words: hope to see this store flourish. I will revisit if I’m in town to see the progress

Great selection, but theres only ever one cashier and the line snakes around the corner of the aisle. I just cant afford to waste the time to pick up something for lunch when I cant even get in and out for a pack of ramen in my half hour break, let alone have time to eat it.

I was rushed out of the store as I was deciding on an item to purchase at 6:17pm. They close at 6:30pm. The older woman cashier said “come come come, we’re closing!!” My friend held up his finger and said one minute please. And the cashier said the same thing to us. We said one minute please, again. Incredibly rude. I left the store with 11 min to spare before they closed. I won’t be back.

There’s a great selection of mostly Chinese, Taiwanese, and lots of Thai, some Japanese, and Korean groceries. As a vegetarian, I come here for my supplies of spices, sauces, dried and fresh tofu products, snacks, and my favorite brand of Thai rice. It’s a bit further away from the main part of the Strip it’s much easier to get parking so I’m not walking blocks back with heavy groceries. I appreciate that they’ll repurpose boxes instead of giving you bags, too. It’s easy to miss the store as it blends in with the warehouses and other brick buildings but once I found it, it’s become a regular spot for me.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese supermarket in the Pittsburgh area. The owner is very nice and very hands on. You see her running around making sure the shelves are stocked and reorder anything that runs out immediately. She speaks English Cantonese and Mandarin so if you dont speak Chinese ask for the owner. They have a huge snacks section and ramen section. I love Asian snacks and ramen so that already pleases me. Their produce are pretty fresh and during Chinese New Year they put new year specific products right at the front door. If you are looking for frozen dim sum, go to the door refridgerators and you should find a variety of frozen dim sum such as dumplings and buns.

Excellent selection and variety of foods. The atmosphere was so wonderfully classic Asian market. Fresh vegetables that Ive not seen in Pennsylvania in 25 years of living here. Id been yearning for quail eggs to make some traditional dishes and not been able to find them until here. For a sight seer the sights, smells and sounds alone are worth the trip. I grew up in Japan, and was transported back in time.
