I have been a customer for over 10 years and they have always done a fine job with my awning installing in spring and storing over winter and Im sure this year will be the same. They are very concerned about their customers. Mary
Used to be reliable . Never put my awnings up this year! Won’t answer the phone. Can’t get my awnings back from them. I’ve been waiting outside their shop on and off for several days and so have several other customers.Stalked them and got my awnings, but had to put up myself! Joe was very helpful!
The rumors are greatly exaggerated! Christman Awning is alive and well - although a bit behind on the spring installs. Let’s not throw them under the bus just yet! A little compassion and patience for your neighbor please.
Thank you for putting up our awning. We do appreciate you coming through on your word. Now, I cant speak for all of your customers but we would have understood if you had called and told us. Even a simple Hi, having some health issues. Not 100% sure when well get your awning up. Please be patient would have been great! However, finding out from the news that you put a sign on your door and then to hear your full voicemail change to a generic greeting really put us on edge! Again, thank you for putting up our awning. Just a little better customer service next time please.
Family matters have apparently caused them to close their doors. Trying to be sympathetic but an alternate plan should have been implemented to get customers their awnings installed as requested. Extremely disappointed.
Ordered a new awning. Paid 1/2 of amount up front.Was to be installed in 4 to 6 weeks, Called many times ...phone out of order or mailbox full. not good! Update: May 2020. Finally had the new awning installed last year and talked to Frank in-depth about their current business practices. He agreed and assured me all would change and be fine. As a loyal customer for many years I figured that we are all human and things happen. so I had Chrisman take down the new awning in late fall and store it for the winter. I began calling the shop this April (2020) and as of today, May14 the phone is out of service I am asking Frank and Rose to please respond and contact me so that I might at least recover my brand new expensive awning from their Butler St. facility.
Tired to get a hold of them to get my awnings put up which were to be put up in April called at least 75 times text them many of times went to their place of business several times finally got my awnings had to go to their place of business to get them. All I got was a lot of excuses why my awnings were not put up also the owner never returned any of my calls to let me know what was going on
No words can be found that describe how unreliable and unprofessional this business has become.
