This place is cool. Im from California and just visited Pennsylvania for the week and it is very very different out there. Places close at 8pm stores dont sell beers. The first coupple days were very confusing trying to learn how they do things on that side of the country. This place was very helpful and they actually had a decent amount of beers here

East Street Beer is awesome! They have alcoholic slushies, the space feels small but they have a great selection and wide variety of beers, cigarettes too if thats your thing (I dont smoke). Staff was helpful, gave great suggestions and thanks to them I found a new favorite beer! Since this is COVID 19 times, they do have a glass barrier at the checkout, and I saw the staff cleaning surfaces frequently with disinfectants. Parking (free) was also convenient, the staff helped me load my car, thanks!All around great place, only thing missing is some air conditioning.

East Street Beer has been a staple of the North Side community for many years. While the original owner has since retired, new management has been progressively moving the distributorship into the future. They offer a wide selection of domestic, craft, and import beer. At times they also have lower ABV spirits, usually flavored mixes. I have always liked the ability to call in for a custom order. When under the original ownership I have done full case requests of Dogfish 120 and Trappist La Trappe Quadrupel. Current management has been very responsive over Facebook and with a simple message you can check the stock of your favorite beer. The staff here has always been friendly and willing to help. I especially like that they have combated COVID restrictions by rearranging their inventory and making access to most products easy for customers. I also appreciate their recent promotions and I hope to see more of the same. Keep up the good work.

Friendly staff and convenient location. I wish they had longer hours because I work long days and usually dont make it back to North Side until after 6, but I understand that between doing deliveries and having a small staff, they do what they can.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood; great selection of beer & excellent customer service; they also do our facility deliveries and we couldnt be happier with the service.

I have been here many times. It is a nice distributor that can get you anything their wholesaler has if you ive them a few days. Their selection is good for the average buyer plus has in stock more then a few crafts. They didnt have what I really wanted and could not get it from the wholesaler because they did not have it. I settled for a different brew and they gave me 2 free craft beers to try out.Very personal and down to earth people. I will continually come back, though maybe give more notice for beer swaps then 30 minutes. :-D
