Disgusting that a business owner would do what he has done to us. We dropped off about 20-30 propellers for repair in October of 2021. After talking with him multiple times over the winter and early spring he guaranteed them to be done by the third week of March. Here we are in June after about 200 calls still with no answers never answered to phone. Messages left repeatedly, drover the hour and a half 5 times to no avail finding him. I truly hope everything is ok with Bill but if it is he should lose his business over treating customers this way. Embarrassing.

Bill did excellent work and was very knowledgeable about making car safe for the roads.

Amazing service. It was the Friday of 4th of July weekend and he stayed to help my brother and I after he closed. He went to different people to find someone who would fix the starter on our boat and then he put the new one back in. He stayed close to 4 hours after he was supposed to close. Amazing guy and amazing service!

Bill is an awesome mechanic and really knows his stuff. I forgot my spare prop at his shop for over 2 years. I called one day, he still remembered me and I picked it up. His prices are right and he has great stories too. I would highly recommend him for any of your boating needs.

All I have to say is off and on over the past 15 yrs i have taken seveal makes and models of props to him for repair and never once was there an issue. I know my own marina where I dock my boat uses them. And they are in Andover OH !!!

Bill really knows his stuff. Hes just a guy with the last prop shop in town. Its not some big corporation with a customer service department or any department, for that matter. His prices are stellar, he has old and hard to find parts available and will work very hard to find the one you might need. Are you used to Fox Chapel or some other fancy-pants marina? Well, then Bill might not be your cup-o-tea. Are you a real Pittsburgher who enjoys a good chat and some blue collar service, then this is absolutely your spot!Bill prepped the prop for me right in front of me and was a heck of a nice guy at a price that was about 2/3 less than everyone else.

I will start off my statement by saying if I could give this business zero stars I would. I dropped off my propeller to be repaired by Bill Warnock, he ensured it would be done the following week, and he would call when finished. Much as the other reviewer stated I never received any phone calls. Havent called Mr Warnock over 10 times In the coming weeks I become increasingly frustrated. My final message to Mr Warnock that I left was that I was coming to pick up my propeller whether it was finished or not. Miraculously I received a call back within 10 minutes saying that my propeller would be done within an hour. I now have seven weeks into this attempt at a repair. When I stopped to pick up my propeller that day he claimed that it was all finished even though it did not appear to of been touched. In my boat vibrates as badly as it did before the repair. Yet he charged me $200 for this suppose it repair. Next time, I will send my propeller to prop M.D. and have a repair there by professionals.

Beware, Beware, Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is the worst of the worst. I tried to have my prop repaired for the summer at Pittsburgh Prop. I dropped off my prop with the owner. He assured me that the prop would be repaired, and could be picked up the following Friday. The next Friday stopped by his business, and the business was closed. I left numerous messages on his answering machine, which he never returned any calls. Every time I stopped at his shop it was closed. I posted a note on his door letting him know that I wanted to pick up my prop, and he could contact me at my number. No phone calls from him. I tried for the next 2 months to track him down. I was finally able to catch him at the shop. He told me that the prop was probability at another storage, and that he would check and contact me to pick the prop up. He never made any attempt to call me. After waiting weeks for his call, I was finally was able catch him back at his shop. This time I wasnt very cordial. He tells me that I waited over 3 months, and that he probably sold the prop. He said any props not pick up after 3 months could sold and become his property. He was told that I tried to track him down and the shop was always closed. I constantly called his business, and he never made any attempt to call me back. He tells me that hes so busy because he runs 3 businesses, and he cant always be at the shop. He told me that he tried to contact me numerous times and left massages on my phone. I used to deal with Skips prop, I never had any problems. This Owner is a Lying Piece Of Crap. Do yourself a favor and find another shop to have your repairs done. Dont patronize this business. Hes the worst of the worst. I run my own business, no point in running 3 if you cant run one. I am letting everyone know about this lying big piece of crap. He needs to go back to running his lemon aid stand on the side of the road. He must be super hard up to steal my prop. Just do yourself a favor find a good business.
