Tom, Chris and Jimmy were Great the whole night we were there! A friend and I were walk ins, Tom was super friendly and Personable the whole waiting process and Jimmy and Chris both did Amazing jobs on the Tattoos! Overall a super chill, really fun, and cool environment!

Walked in and he made a custom tattoo for both my wife and I. The work was outstanding. Very light hand. We will definitely be back.

Have went here for tattoos before and was perfectly fine but this time would be the last time. Waited around for four hours to get 2 small tattoos. Went in for my turn just to be told he ethically couldn’t tattoo my hand without me being covered in tattoos already. How are you ethically going to tell me where I can and cannot put a tattoo i’m paying for? And on top of that he told me I would be judged for having a tattoo on my hand in my job since I am only 21. Rude and unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible. I was in on Thursday (9/2) for a walk-in tattoo. My artist was Drew, whom I found out after we had started was not a regular artist with you and was only visiting. This was fine and we continued the rest of the tattoo, however I noticed that he didnt take much care to clean the space he was at or prepare properly. I paid $120 +$20 for a tip, was wrapped in saniderm and sent on my way. When I got home that night I noticed that the tattoo was a bit uneven and messaged Drew to see if he could fix it the next day. He said yes and I went in on Friday (9/3) to have it touched up. Once again, I noted that he hadnt properly washed his hands before cleaning my tattoo off and only put gloves on once he started the touch up, then I was wrapped in saniderm and sent on my way once more.The morning of 9/4 I awoke to an excruciating pain in my wrist and the inability to flex it properly due to swelling, so I took the saniderm off and went to my local urgent care. There I was told that my tattoo is 100% infected and I would need to be on antibiotics for the next 10 days and monitor it.Note that the ONLY time the tattoo was uncovered was while I was at the shop on 9/2, for the touch up on 9/3, and lastly the morning of 9/4 right before I went to urgent care. Not once had I peeled or uncovered my tattoo until right before I drove to the doctor.When I emailed the shop about it to inform them and ask for a potential refund, no one answered. But when I messaged the artist to discuss it, I was met with childish indignation and gaslighting saying that it was entirely my fault for “not leaving the saniderm on long enough” which isn’t even a factor in this situation. I am absolutely disgusted with the shops lack of response and responsibility for their “guest artist” as well as the rude response and following conversation I had with the artist.

Chris was great and took care of my friend and me on a walk in. It was our first tattoo and he looked out for us and our nerves! Was very speedy and it looks great :)!!

When they said “godspeed” they were not lying. Me and my best friend decided to get tattoos three hours before she had to fly away and Jessie was able to get us done quickly without sacrificing quality at all. Even the healing was godspeed. I only got a small tattoo but it was a lovely experience!!

So I went there 2 and a half hours early and when they didn’t call me, I went back to check, and the woman said she couldn’t take us... after we signed in FOREVER ago. Her boyfriend looked like he was there so it makes sense. Save your time and money and don’t go here. Probs have dirty needles too... just my guess though. If I could rate less than one star I would. Super unprofessional. Don’t know how hard it is to call someone and let them know they can’t get tattooed. Maybe that’s just me being mature.

Went to get a small tattoo and they said there was a waiting list . I Signed up and was told I might not get tattooed by the end of the night, so I asked if I could make an appointment, she said no and that we had to come back and sign in . After waiting for hours without receiving a call, I go back just to realize I was skipped. And to top it off I overheard a customer say she wanted to make an appointment and he said she could even though they said we could not . Either they were careless with there list or they were being prejudice. Honestly disappointed that two days were wasted on a 10 minute tattoo.

If I could give no stars I would. Went in with my friends. We were asked to come back in an hour (which was fine) the man gave a whole speech to my friend about placement BEFORE we left and came back. When we got back he did the same thing. Saying how this karma could come back to him?? We had already discussed and she decided where she would get the tattoo. He continued to talked and as I proceeded to say she knows where she wants it because he was not listening to her. He then shushed me to continue saying the same thing for 5 more mins. Needless to say the whole vibe was off and we left. Will not recommend and will not return. This rudeness was all by the owner as well.Carson street tattoo however was great 😊

Jimmy did my tattoo and i loved how he did it, Jess drew it up and I’m not really happy on the drawing. My friend also got two tattoos and Jess did those and when we got home it was all stencil no ink hopefully they will fix it.

Amazing experience all around. This was my second time in this shop and its been the only place I have gotten work done at. The first time was cool and my tattoo is exactly what I wanted. However, Nick really went above and beyond as far as design, and great ideas to contribute into the art when I first talked to him toget an idea about price and show the images to. The day came and Nick really excels at what he does. He made some changes that were needed in the design and we got started on the session. Even both stencils were placed perfectly on the first try, and the first one included me shaking from nerves. I was a bit shaky (literally) for the first hour but Nick did great work and I relaxed. We took necessary breaks and powered through. Im Super freaking happy with how it turned out. Nick did an amazing job and it turned out better than what I had in my head. Ill be recommending this shop to others and will be back for another at some point.

Not a very good place. Very disappointed! Got. Tattoo it was faded so bad within a week (yes it was on my finger but my friend also got one from another person there) jess is who i had and i will never go back!! Called last week asked if i could get it touched up they said yes, called yesterday to tell them i was coming for a touch up, walk in and they tell me she can’t do it on weekends. Pathetic people

Super unprofessional was not wearing a mask. They made us wait for over 3 hours for our nose piercing and took people that came after us with no appointment first. Kicked us out into the cold Because of the maximum number of people that was allowed in while letting six non-colored customers that came in after us sit. I’m am completely upset and would not expect this from this establishment.

It was the worst experience we ever had. Kevin was not personal-able at all. Went there for a bachelorette party to get like tattoos of lightening bolts. One doesn’t look like a lightning bolt. Another the lines are horrible. Do not recommend.

I had my tattoo done by Nick, he was EXTREMELY professional, very nice and very patient making sure I was always comfortable with the process. He drew my tattoo up and it was EXACTLY as I envisioned it in my mind!! Super talented! He had an especially easy touch making it as comfortable as possible over a tender area under my collarbones.The shop was very clean and bright and organized and professional looking.I met several of the staff and they were so friendly it made my tattoo really enjoyable. The talent and professionalism was stellar!! Ill be back and have recommended Nick and Godspeed Tattoo frequently!!! I constantly get asked about my tatt & love showing it off!!! THANKS NICK!! He is accommodating, professional, & honest about what will look good long term, not just take your money to make a quick buck. From the conversation I have had with him, I found out he worked & learned from some of the best in the industry! My friend came in with me and got a piercing from Maddie, who was very sweet & professional as well.

Nick was absolutely AMAZING! I wanted to change a tattoo I already had and Nick patiently sketched out a new tattoo on top of my old one. The finished product is so much better than what I even expected! Thanks Nick, well be back!

Stopped in on a whim to get a lip piercing and despite how welcoming the staff was, not only did i walk out of there with a piercing i didn’t want (thank god it looks cute) but i was pierced with the complete wrong jewelry which has negatively impacted the healing process. thankfully, i took really good care of it despite being told absolutely NO aftercare so it didn’t heal crooked. however, it’s been 9 weeks which is way past when the inverse vertical labret should be properly healed and when i went to a different shop to get my bar changed i was actually MORTIFIED at the piece of jewelry that my piercer had stuck straight through my lip. getting it changed was 5x more painful than getting it done and i’m still going through a tough healing process to make sure there’s no complications that i really wish i didn’t have to worry about in the first place. highly disappointed :/

I called Godspeed Tattoo at 10:11 PM to confirm that the tattoo artists would be able to accommodate us, since the website said they were open until 12 AM. The man who answered the phone told us it would be possible if we made it to the salon by 10:30 PM. So, when we walked in (literally) at exactly 10:30 PM, we didnt expect to be treated with such animosity by the girl at the front desk. She was clearly annoyed that we showed up towards the end of her shift, even though the website stated that she still had an hour and a half left in her shift. My boyfriend got his first tattoo here tonight, so we were hoping it would be a fun experience. Instead, it was extremely awkward because the girl doing the tattoo would not engage in conversation with us, even though we were directly talking to her. I truly hope the other tattoo artists arent as rude as this women.

Was up in the area visiting some friends and we decided to get some ink. My friend heard this place had some amazing artists so we checked out the portfolios and they werent lying. Dude named Kevin was who ended up doing my work. What a solid guy. He worked with me trying to design something in the fly for a cover up I needed from going to a subpar place many years ago. Its basically all black and very difficult to cover but Kevin asked what I was thinking and drew something up for me. He worked with me as he designed it and made it exactly what I wanted. His art work is amazing and hes a very personable guy. I really feel lucky I was able to get my work done by him. If youre in the area and want some great art work done by a dude who isnt rude or pretentious and makes you feel at home, head over to God Speed and ask for Kevin, you wont be disappointed.

Bunch of jerks

Im pretty sure I got ripped off. Was charged $140 for 4 small letters on my leg (single line font with no fill-in or color) and tipped $25 for a total of 165. When they told me it would cost $140 I immediately said OK since I didnt know any better. Everyone I have talked to since told me I paid way too much for that simple/small of a tattoo. When I told the tattoo guys this would be my first tattoo they were probably licking their chops... Nice guys, I just didnt appreciate being taken advantage of. Jimmy did my tattoo, did a good job, promised me a free touch-up in the future.

Great customer service explained everything well going back to get a new piercing.

Went here for a Friday the 13th tattoo for $31. Its my first tattoo and I went to several shops on Carson looking at the flash. The flash here was by far the best. The shop was the cleanest, most welcoming, and most comfortable. Im overall pleased with my owl and the artist was very efficient without making me feel rushed. The tattoo is on my ankle, so my boyfriend took a picture so I could see more detail. I noticed that at the diamond peak between the eyes has an extra straight line, like the artist began straight widows peak and then realized it was actually a little diamond. Hardly anybody else would notice but it bothers me a bit since it will be there forever. I acknowledge that I went cheap here and I liked the shop in general, just a bit disappointed.

Chris#2 did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. It came out exactly how I wanted it and I couldnt be more pleased and happy with his work. I will never go to another tattoo shop, nor will I ever go to another tattoo artist for work again.

On a whim, my two friends and stopped into this tattoo shop for matching tattoos. We got something super simple and hard to mess up. It’s literally lines & 3 circles. I don’t know how in the world the tattoo artist messed up my tattoo, but he did. I have 3 mishapened circles, one that is bolder than the others, lines that are not straight & it straight up looks like an ameteur did it. This place was recommended to us & I very much so regret this tattoo. I’m super disappointed & embarrassed to show my tattoo to anyone.

Kevin at Godspeed tattoo had my deposit one week ahead of a scheduled appointment. He told me I had cancelled when I arrived because HE got his dates confused. Refused to refund deposit. Needless to say didnt have my art drawn. Kinda rude about the whole situation. Go next door to Carson street tattoo. I told them my story and the artist MADE time on his schedule to take care of me. On a whim we walked in as a group of 3 to get a small tattoo at about 1am. They were clean, quick, did good work & the dude at the desk & the 2 people that did our tattoos were pretty awesome.

Even though Chris had been there for over 12 hours by the time it was my turn, he was courteous and professional throughout our appointment. The tattoo turned out great and Ill definitely be back for my next one :-)

I stood in the lobby for a while without any staff around to see me, but it was an okay experience other than that. However, the guy pierced my second lobes with two different studs (one is a diamond, one is just a silver ball), so I have to go back to get the matching jewelryEdit: I went back today around 2pm and no one was there or answered the phone, Im still lopsided

They were awesome! I got a nose piercing and Lou was really helpful and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

I came here with my spouse who wanted to get her nipples pierced. She was hoping to get it done with some privacy, either a separate room or some sort of barrier for comfort. The piercers here were unhelpful, unwilling to offer any privacy whatsoever, and condescending about the request. They seemed judgmental and uninterested in our business, even though the shop was empty. We took our money to Hot Rod Piercing just a few blocks away, and were very happy with our experience there.

I have gotten all of my tattoos here from the artist named chris. He is a great guy and a respectable tattoo artist. He does amazing work and I recommend him to all my friends. I would recommend chris to who is ever looking for a tattoo or cover ups.

DO NOT GO HERE. They are very cheap RIP OFFS . They work 12 hour shifts, and rush to get done. Worst of all they are horable tattoos artist.THE ARE LYERS. My tattoo cost 120$For my exsperience I went with my friend. They didnt read us the contract and just had us sign them. We had two different guys and they both messed up on both of our tattoos.I was getting an old tattoo covered up with a humming bird. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and instead he drew a more simple humming bird. He didnt show me it until after he put the stensile o my back and I had to look to see if I liked it in the mirror. Half way threw my tattoo he told me hes trying to get luv of there because he has been working since 1pm (it was 1am when he said that). When he was almost done he was asking me perverted question, so I just wanted to get out of there.
