Went in for a quick oil change, there wasnt really a wait and this blond boy greeted me, he was very friendly and led me to the waiting room, and told me it was going to be around 15 minutes. I could hear the communication between them and it seemed very efficient. Surprisingly they were done in around 12, and a middle aged man explained what they did, and apologized for not having stickers to remind me when to come in next, but said that they set the oil indicator on my car. On my way out the blond kid waved at me and told me to have a nice day, was fairly touched. I will definitely be coming back.

I needed an oil change and saw the Groupon, seemed like a reasonable price so I bought it. When I went to the Jiffy Lube on banksville I cannot say I’ve had an experience this bad at other places I have used in the past. When I pulled up to their garage doors It was not clearly marked if I should park and go in or drive up but the doors were up so I pulled forward and was ignored for about 5 minutes as they ignored me and didn’t give me any instruction. So I backed up and parked and went inside. The man who assisted me was extremely rude and short, but made note of the car I drove yet never came up to help me with how their system works and waited for me to figure it out, and just told me to sit down, ok, whatever I’m not gonna worry about that but it wasn’t welcoming at all and not the best start. Someone came in and asked for my keys they pulled my car in and still hadn’t asked what I was there for. Eventually after 5 minutes the same man came back in and asked what I needed I said I purchased the Groupon for the oil change and tire rotation and he left again. Came back in and stated what they were going to do so I just sat and waited.When I got my car back you can see the photos of their work and he stated they were unable to rotate my tires and charged me for additional oil. That was my fault I should’ve read it onlyCovered 5 quarts but I left without my tires rotated, charged more than I normally pay for an oil change and my car was a mess, apparently they prefer to put some oil on the engine bay and my interior rather than the engine and unless I’m going to go back in time that window sticker was completely pointless. I mean, use them if you want but I’ll never be back, this place is a joke.

What a strange experience. They were quick which was nice, but didn’t complete the full service even though it was indicated that they did. Oil light was not reset, and I know this because it’s not automatic and it was listed on the receipt that it is automatic. They also did not inflate my tires to pressure as when I brought it in it there was a tire that needed a some air and when I left it still needed it. They also didn’t install a window sticker even though it says they did on a receipt. Now these things aren’t the biggest detractor as they are minor things I can do, but if you’re going to offer it as a service and put on the receipt that you did, shouldn’t you have done it?

I came here because the people at Pennzoil block away are horrible. Horrible customer service this place was much better use a Groupon to save money.

Jiffy Lube was great. Prompt, polite, efficient and fairly priced. Exceeded expectations.

Called them before I drove there and I asked, “do you have an inspector on site?” They replied, “yes we do!”. I then ask, “how long will it take?”, they reply “about an hour and a half”. So I drive down and ask to get my vehicle inspected.. and they tell me “our emissions tester has been down all day so we can’t do an inspection.”. Do yourself a favor and just make an appointment elsewhere because these people never seem to know what they are doing or whats going on…

Used these guys for oil changes for years. Last time I took my Mazda in for an oil change, though, the engine started making clicking noises immediately afterwards. Took it to my mechanic and it turns out they installed the wrong kind of filter... Just to save a few bucks. They also didnt even reinstall the plate under the car correctly. I used JL for years, but after their carelessness and cost-cutting almost damaged my engine, Im not going back again.

After a few weeks of trying to coordinate an appointment for tires for my fleet truck I was finally able to get an appointment with their tire expert who only works a few days a week. The expert started to take one wheel off and couldnt get it so they tried to give me the tires and send me to another shop. They had good customer service which is why they get a 2 star not a one but for a tire shop to not be able to change tires is a pretty poor showing

Frank was very knowledgeable, I called and asked if they could do a tune up on my 2015 Fusion, Frank said yes bring it on in.I arrived and was greeted by Frank he pulled my car in and got started immediately, within an hr I was back on the road, my car runs like it’s brand new!I will definitely be going back and recommend them for all your car needsSorry about the google name that shows upMy apologies

I have tried 2 times to get my oil changed and have been turned away both times once because the power was out and the ther time because they were closed at 6 when the sing on the door said closed at 7. I will never try to get my oil changed at the jiffy lubes on banksvile road again.Thanks for nothing.

Needed a quick oil change so checked out Groupon and Jiffy Lube was offering an oil change, a window treatment and a tire rotation for a very decent price. Wait time was minimal, and the work completed quickly. No complaints. Be sure to get on their email list as they frequently send out discount coupons.

Great experience! I went for an oil change and an employee came to greet me before I even got out of my car. The service was quick, the employees were thorough with their routine checking and they explained other things to me that I may need done, but didn’t make me feel forced. Oil change was $91 for full synthetic oil, which tends to be pricier anyways. Overall, very happy with the service! Waiting room was good too with chairs, free wifi, and a restroom.

Shortly after being told by the Jiffy Lube on Greentree road they need to clean their shop for an hour before they could change my oil, I came to the Banksville location.Tim was beyond helpful, polite, courteous, and professional. Where one location lost my business, this location gained it from the way Tim did his job. Thank you.

I came in this morning for an Emissions and Safety Inspection. This was my first one in PA as I moved from Chicago. They were fantastic and paid attention detail. They also filled me on the progress. All I needed was wipers to pass the safety inspection. Friendly and professional and a great overall experience. Thanks Jiffy Lube.

Went for an oil change- wanted a windshield wiper.They forgot the windshield wiper after having my car for 4 hours, had to stay longer for a wind shield wiper. Was whatever- no big deal.Looked up a coupon and that didn’t work...Okay...another no big deal I guess.Then, As I drive out my tire light is out.(Didn’t have it on prior)They gave the excuse “it was the weather”Um, it snowed the days prior and my tires had no issue... so they filled my tire with air.making me feel like I’m the one at fault..And guess what happened. I all of a sudden have a flat tire to that same ‘weather afflicted’ tire.Now I’m now stuck after work because of a flat tire.I’m pretty sure a nail lodged into my tire...I don’t mind a delay in an oil change but this is ridiculous... sweep your garage JL.Never coming back

Ever since I got an oil change and rotation at this place, my tires dont feel right. Theres a wobble that wasnt there before. Not only that, but they left the oil stick laying on the engine and crushed my car lashes under the hood. I wont ever go back here.

I had to call local competitors before writing this review. I had a nail removed from my tire at this location and it cost me $44 and that’s with a $10 discount they gave me so it was actually around $55. This is a little more than twice as much as other shops in the area. I would say this price was understandable if the repair was done in a “jiffy”, but sadly it was not. It took way longer than I expected and there were no other vehicles ahead of me. Like A LOT longer. The staff seemed courteous, but I’m all about value so I probably won’t utilize this shop again.

Went to get front and back breaks change and oil change took them a hour and half just to do front breaks while they talk and loli gaged then When a bigger truck comes in all 4 employees had to debate how the best way to pull it in was the. Some how were able to do the back breaks and oil change in 30 mins to get truck in but took them a hour to do front breaks when there was no other customers they are a joke of a business

Quick and friendly service

Looked up places that offer transmission fluid swaps in the area, confirmed on the website that they offered them. Pulled in told the associate tending to me I needed a transmission fluid change and an oil change, to which he told me it would be no problem. Waited around for roughly an hour fourty-five with my new born, got up to pay, asked about the transmission fluid change to which another guy replied we dont offer that here. The major point of my visit, if I had known that I wouldnt have wasted my money on an over priced oil change through them.

They are officially a fast oil change. I was all settled in the waiting room, Price is Right was on the tv. Drew Carey AND Bob Barker were both on this episode, and just when the showcase showdown was about to go down...... My car was done. And I had a coupon. So, long story short....I have officially turned into my Dad.

I used to love Jiffy lube and the service they offered but recently the company has SERIOUSLY GONE DOWNHILL. I will NEVER be a client of theirs ever again.

One day my battery died; I was on my way to work and this location came through in less than a half an hour with a battery! They are efficient and well mannered. I’ll definitely be going back!

I am NEVER coming back, and will tell everyone I know to never visit here either. They do not care about the customer.The short version: They took an hour due to the card reader being down, offered me no discount or apology, and upon leaving found out theyd left my car idling for at least 30 minutes.The long version: I chose to come to this Jiffy Lube instead of the usual Valvoline in Robinson because I thought it would save me time from having to drive. Well, instead of being in and out in ten minutes it took half an hour to get my service. There was only one person in front of me, but I figured whatever, this is still fine. When it was finally time to pay (or so I thought), it turned out their card reader was down. The manager, instead of apologizing and telling me it would take a few minutes, just grabbed a phone and called the customer service. Ok, I thought, it should only be a few minutes. No, he spent half an hour darting all over the place, never once offering me an apology or explaining how long it would take. Finally after 30 minutes, he said I could pay. Again, no apology, no discount offer. And he had the audacity to start pitching me their coupons to come back! All I wanted to do was get in my car and leave... but when I got to my car, I found it was left idling for the ENTIRE TIME. A complete waste of gas. So not only did they waste my whole evening and my money, but they also wasted my gas without a single apology.

I called in the morning around 8:30 to ask about a vehicle safety inspection. I had to call twice as my first attempt wasnt answered, no big deal. Whoever answered the phone did so with great annoyance, I asked about the state inspection and she yelled at me THERE ISNT A STATE INSPECTOR HERE GO TO GREENTREE! OK, uncalled for. So I go to Jiffylube on Greentree: 2010 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 where the state inspector doesnt want to inspect my vehicle at 9:00 am because hes too busy with one vehicle ahead of me. I ask about the next day and hes to busy the next day also, his reasoning is there would only be 2 of them and I would still have to leave my car. I guess he assumed I wouldnt have a ride the next day idk. Either way will not be considering Jiffylube for future services since Jiffylube doesnt want to offer them, lol.

TL;DR: DO NOT GO HEREThey overcharge and like to add things to the bill. Just want an oil change? Good luck. Theyll replace and charge you for things you didnt agree to. Theyll change the tire pressures without asking. Theyll replace the nearly brand new oil filter. So on and so forth.Never going back.Its a shame... I remember years ago when they actually were able to provide average service.

Waited 10 mins to have someone acknowledge me. Then when they did it seemed like I was imposing on them sitting around in the phone. I was the only car there. Miserable lady working the desk. I had actually come here a few years back and swore I would never come again. Well, nothing has changed. With all the options for oil changes, take your business elsewhere. The manager at this location was incredibly caring and did whatever she could to ensure I was driving a safe vehicle for family. They were speedy and all very friendly!

Took 54 minutes for basic oil change, with no line. Sat in lounge watching employees chat and talk on phone. Should remove “Jiffy” from title.I know now - why there was no line. Apparently everybody already knows to avoid this place.

Little bit of a wait time the day I was in there, but overall it was a great experience. Ryan is exceptionally​ personable and just an all around nice guy to know. I have stopped here several times with good service. Last service they did not complete what they said they did. For example, my air tire light was still on, went back into let them know but they made an excuse. Installed new windshield wipers, one did not work. Had to stop again, guy tried to say windshield was fine and I had to show him where it didn’t work...it was very obvious.

I would never go back again I went there with my exhaust attached and it came out bent all the way back to the muffler and they didnt even try to fix it.. just sent me on my way smh

Went by to have the oil changed in my mothers VW. Two of the three employees on hand were pleasant and great to deal with, while the third lacked any aptitude for customer service. He asked for our keys and walked back into the shop, did not ask what services we were interested in, what oil we wanted to use, etc. Came back to us several minutes later to tell us that whoever changed the oil last had stripped her drain plug and they could not change the oil. We took it elsewhere and were in and out in 15 minutes no problem, I even asked to see the drain plug. No issues, no damage. Wouldnt recommend this location.

Wanted oil change and tire rotation. Got oil change and a stripped lug nut because they used the wrong size socket to take bolt off. So no tire rotation and waited over 40 mins to get done. Now have to go back tomorrow for them to replace my stripped lug nut at there cost but still time out of my day and gas to go back.

I went for a oil change, that part was quick and well done. However, once I got home I realized I was missing some change from my cup holder. After further inspection I found that all the cash from my center console was missing. There was no more than 10 dollars in the car for emergency turnpike money... but it’s just sad. You really can’t trust anybody nowadays. I’ve gone here for years with no issues and the same cash in the car. One untrustworthy person can ruin your opinion of a great place.

Me and my dad took my car into here last weekend. I know very little about cars, and I’ve been warned that most mechanics would try to scam me, especially being female. Instead I discovered the opposite here, they not only told me what was wrong with my car but showed me. I came in because of a coupon I found online to get a cheap oil change, but now this will be my regular spot! I really appreciated the dedication to customer service, especially from the mechanics, Tyler and Dan who explained the whole process to me. Thanks guys I will see you again soon!

I havent visited this location for a few years after a bad experience. I heard that there was a great new staff there now so I decided to give it another try. You guys have hit the jackpot with this crew!! They are very friendly and they know their stuff. From Sam greeting me at my car, to Jim going over the report they did on my car, to Jamar opening the doors for me and taking the time to talk with me......I felt like I was dealing with family and Ill definitely be back for my next oil change and my summer tires. KEEP THIS TEAM, THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!

Be prepared for the up sell on literally everything. I took a 1998 Chevy Cavalier with over 160,000 miles on it and they tried to convince me that I had been doing the car a great disservice by using conventional oil. No thank you. No, really... You should buy synthetic. Its only 28.99 more.

Jiffy, noun 1. a very short time; moment. An hour and a half for an oil change is not Jiffy. Furthermore on my drive home, engine running very rough and almost stalling out at stop lights. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Popped the hood when I got home only to find the engine air intake hose disconnected! Also bent the hell out of one of my tire valve stems! Thought Id save some time going here instead of Pennzoil because I was working on that side of town. Ive never been so wrong about anything in my life.

I went to this Jiffy Lube on a weekday afternoon & was in & out quickly. They honored my $10 off coupon & overall, I was very pleased.Ive had some really bad experiences with other Jiffy Lubes in the past, but this one was great.

Staff was nice but I was there for a simple oil change and it took over an hour and a 1/2 And there was only 2 people I had of me they pulled my truck in as soon as I got there too

I went last year to this Jiffy Lube for my state inspection. I went again this year and when I pulled up the employee told me they were not doing them. I said there is a sign outside and he said they were doing them just not right now. The employee told me they do not do appointments you can just drive up but not right now in case they get busy. I was the only car at the jiffy lube and the only car waiting to be talked to. Seems ridiculous to me if you have no other customers to say you cannot do an inspection in case you get busy. Regardless I will be taking my money elsewhere as they obviously do not want it.

Super friendly service and honest. One of my front lights went out and I thought I needed a replacement. Turns out I didnt, it was just a loose cable that they reattached. They could have charged me for a new bulb and the service fee and I would have never known but they didnt. Reattached the cable without charge. Definitely recommend and Ill go back if something else need fixing.

Friendly staff and quick service! Air conditioning, complimentary coffee and a soda machine in the waiting room. Didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage or rip me off at all and was able to redeem a few coupons. A+

Terrible. They couldnt figure out how to get my cars hood open without my help and left my oil filter cover off. It took them a solid 10 minutes of watching YouTube tutorials to figure out how to reset my oil change/ maintenance indicator. These people dont know what theyre doing and will damage your car.

The last 2 times i came to this location to get a 10min oil change took over 2.5hrs long then after the kid took a quick cigarette break decided to take car out of garage i still had to wait another 15 20mins for the other guy to pull another car in garage then he started working on that vehicle before deciding to check me out then printer didnt work i just said forget the printout i was already there longer than i shouldve been. Ill go to different location from now on inoy reason i came to this location the 1st time i cane here i was in and out in 25mins i didnt expect the next 2 visits was going to be that long

We just moved here from South Carolina. These guys were fantastic! They had our car in and out quickly. They transferred all our information from South Carolina up to here and updated everything for us and did it all with a great attitude! Thanks for welcoming us to the burgh!

They get the job done, but thats pretty much it. Didnt vacuum even though the receipt said they did, left a screwdriver and a couple other things in my car (I guess to make up for the lack of vacuuming?) and theyre pretty expensive in comparison to Monro Muffler, but Monro was backed up so I came here instead.

I had just visited for an oil change today (My second visit to this location ) was disappointed with the level of service.The associate discussed the oil options with me & I went with the recommended option along with a tire rotation for an additional charge, I had informed him I had a website coupon of $10 and was told it will be applied once the work was done.Once done I was billed the full amount and made the payment as requested, guess what he did not take off the 10$ & said it was missed, The associate give me a coupon booklet which is a regular discount coupon saying I could use it the next time which I was anyway going to get 10$ off next time so it was of no use .Finally on me insisting he wrote a note on the system that he has to give me a discount of 10$ the next time.Went to my car and there was no sticker for the milage / next oil change which is normally printed and glued on the windshield on the inside, Had to go back and ask for the sticker which was quickly scribbled on a sticker and given to me to put on the inside windshield.Went back to my car the 2nd time and the oil change required message was still showing up on my dashboard display which is normally manually reset once the oil change is done, another associate came and got the message canceled through the settings.Highly disappointed with the quality of service which could be enhanced with the same attention give to servicing the customer as it is given to up-sell / cross sell additional services / products .

Been here 3 times.Trip 1: 1 hour oil change with only 1-2 other customers in the shop at any given timeTrip 2: They didn’t re-tighten my wife’s skid plate (first oil change on brand new car), which resulted in a metal projectile tearing up her car and flying off on the parkway.Trip 3: Leave car outside, led to office (no words spoken), stood in office for 15-20 mins., never to be addressed by a single employee...walked out, got in my car and leftDrive 0.2 miles down the road to the Penzoil place, it’s worth it

I walked in this place at 5:30, they have 30 mins to close! I got flat tire issue and they re doing cleaning or something, this old man told me that he cant help because they will close soon. I said you are not closed yet and it will take only 10 mins to fix it. He let me go without solving my problem and losing customers! Ridiculous

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. While there having my oil changed another customer who was getting an oil change had his transmission fluid drained instead and needed the car taken to a dealer. This should have tipped me off but I figured one time mistake. Until after driving a little an indicator light comes on and I realize some plastic from my air filter was in my back seat. They removed the air filter to try to upsell me and didnt put the stuff back. Apparently they dont bother to train employees and you risk having them harm your car. DO NOT GO HERE.

I came into the shop for brakes that were squeaking and an oil change. Instead of just taking my money and replacing my brakes, the clerk and mechanic. Its took me to see the brake pads and showed me that they were in great shape. They didnt have to tell me that. They could have simply taken me for my money and ran with it. Not too many honest shops around town these days. I appreciated that and they fixed the squeaking by spraying down the brakes to clear some break dust from the pads and routers. Quick, efficient and honest work from the team on hand.

Terrible Experience. Do not go here. We brought our brand new van here for its first oil change and the technicians didnt tighten the plug properly. The van leaked all over our parking space. When we brought it back the next day they refused to give us a refund. Will never be back.

Jiffy Lube was unable to complete the appointed mission of changing the oil because the drain plug was damaged by they claim a different Jiffy Lube. Either this Jiffy Lube messed up the drain plug or was messed up by the previous Jiffy Lube. Either way I have to go back to a Chevy dealer to get it repaired. Previous to this I had a really good experience for years with Jiffy Lube.

(11/15/16) Pulled up to empty bays before 10am on a Tuesday, and was informed that it would take at least 3+ hours to do state inspection because quote there are only three of us today; again, NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE THERE.
