The custom IEMs I ordered from a manufacturer didn’t fit properly so I had to find a place to get impressions to send back for a rebuild. This place is amazing. I’m 37 years old and a musician looking for a comprehensive hearing exam and custom earplugs for band practices and concerts. This experience was great! The doctor is professional, great to talk with and incredibly helpful. I wish I would have gone years ago! I could have saved a little of hearing from being exposed to loud music but I am fortunate that nothing too bad has happened. If you are in a band or rehearse any instrument over talking volumes, you MUST invest! Very reasonable prices!

The hearing aid practice that had serviced me for over 40 years closed abruptly due to illness. I was referred to Eartique. At the time, I had been experiencing issues with one of my new hearing aids not fitting my ear canal properly. Eartique in Squirrel Hill is the best place to buy hearing aids. I have worn hearing aids for many years and the aids I purchased in the early years were never very satisfactory because the objective of the seller was to get you to buy the aids then that was the last you heard from them. When you purchase from Eartique you become their client and they take care of you, regularly scheduling free checkups, immediately responding if you have a problem (or lose a hearing aid - it can happen and they lent me one to use until my new one came in). They know their products and business from all the complicated computer settings that are required today to optimize performance all the way down to the manufacturers with the best guarantee. They provide free batteries and replacement filters, though I am happy to say my new ones are re-chargeable. And hearing aids are getting better and better. It is amazing how much better the comprehension is with hearing aids that are only 3 years newer than my old ones.Final thought. Dont be misled by buying the cheapest hearing aid you can find. Making your hearing as good as it can be is important to your life and the Eartique people offer a package deal: included in the price is their constant care.
