Awesome store. Extremely nice staff. Store is clean and kept up very well. They let me try playing wtvr I wanted. Offered me help and chatted with me and my friend. This store is even great if your not looking to buy something but to have fun.

Erik is a great musician / teacher and just an all-around great guy. He knows how to get kids really excited about learning how to play guitar. His prices are great and they have free parking. You just cant go wrong with South Hills Music.

My three sons all take music lessons at South Hills Music. They are fantastic there! Very easy to work with. My boys all have different teachers and I cant say enough good things about all of them. Highly recommend!

Fixed a broken but on a guitar that other places estimated would cost 3-5x what they were able to fix it for. Friendly and obviously know what theyre doing with instruments.

My daughter takes guitar lessons here from Sean. She LOVES it. I get my guitar fixed and tuned up here and Eric always takes care of me. You cant go wrong with south hills music.UPDATE: Sean has left, and she takes lessons from Eric now who is just as awesome. My other daughter now takes lessons from Carl on Drum, who is amazing with her.

My daughter broke the string on her violin almost as soon as we got it shame really have a chance of any way we came here and not only was he willing to help but he wanted to make sure we learned how. Right off the bat you can tell that he works with kids and I definitely will be considering lessons. Kid friendly and highly recommended.

Erik is hands down the best guitar teacher you could ask for. He can play and teach anything, and is just plain fun to hang out with. His lessons could help the most timid novice turn into a rock star.

My kids love taking lessons at South Hills Music. excellent teacher and a very nice atmosphere. free wi fi which is cool and it seems to be the only music store in the area with a parking lot which is great!

Bought a guitar for my son for Christmas here. Staff was quick to help me pick out the right one and was friendly. Have not signed up for lessons yet, but staff seemed very willing to help with that as well.
