These guys were great. I was buying a used car in the area (2+ hours from my normal mechanic) so I gave them a ring to see if theyd give it a once over for me. They squeezed me into their (obviously very busy) day and were kind, helpful, and professional about the whole thing. If I lived locally, Id be patronizing them as often as possible.

Went for a oil change. Got told my wheel bearing was loose and would need it replaced before my inspection was up next month. Was quoted 230$ to fix it with a alignment. Brought it in to get fixed the following week and the day of my appointment was told they didn’t remember which side it was and that they would need to take it for a ride, just keep in mind they supposedly noticed it on the lift during a oil change. Immediately I had a suspicion but continued on with the appointment. Get a call 1 hour later that the car is done. Go to make the payment and the total magically turned into 354$ without a alignment. They never even did the alignment. so I asked why it was so much because I was quoted 230 with a alignment! and the owner apologized and gave me a “cash only”deal of $270 because he failed to tell me it got so expensive because that day he suddenly could only get the most expensive part. Just a heads up for future business to others.

We ended up here while having a mechanical issue while towing our camper on vacation. They were able to work us in and get us back on the road on the same day. The prices were extremely fair and everyone was so nice. We are so grateful to have found them!

Took my Durango to 4 shops to get an exhaust gasket repaired. One guy quoted $800 to replace the manifold. The rest said they couldnt do it. One muffler shop recommended I call these guys. Next day my truck was fixed for a fraction of the cost. Very happy. Now I have one of my work vans set to go in tomorrow. They just got my business....

I had a new left side exhaust manifold put in on my Chevy Tahoe here for less than half the cost of a local dealer and several hundred less than another local shop. The dealer wanted nearly $800 and the other shop wanted $700, I had it done here for less than $400. Job was done quickly and service was friendly. Definitely would recommend this place.

Good service, they know their autos. Must have an appointment beforehand hand or dont bother going. Plan on leaving your car day all day. Busy place and they move slow. Does not do annual car state inspections. Prices are average to the high side. Hours are limited. Parking is good. Irene not the friendliest person in the world but passable. They dont do it all, but what they actually do its usually good.

Very fairly priced, guys pushed for hours past closing time to diagnose and fix my Subaru. It had died on the side of the road, these guys brought me right in and solved an issue Subaru couldnt. Definitely found my new mechanic

I have never been at a more responsive, congenial mechanic than Williams and Kingsley. Despite internet service being down and a full line up of customers, all staff handled each customer as if they were the only one, even going as far as to personally drive someone home while their car was worked on. I have never had such a professional experience at a mechanic. We were there for both a snow-summer tire exchange as well as the day before for my wife to purchase new roads. And they treated us like we were the only ones there who mattered. They are the only reliable mechanic I ever recommend to people when in Pittsfield. So thankful for Williams and Kingsley!

By far the most reliable auto repair shop in the berkshires! Prices are towards the higher end but with the investment you get solid work, sound advice and a reliable relationship that will last a lifetime! Ive never once had a poor or even subpar experience with the automotive or customer service at Williams & Kingsley. My fiancés family has taken vehicles to them for decades, theyre the only mechanics we trust; if they dont do a specific repair they only ever recommend the safest local shop they know.

My son had a Spec Stage II racing clutch installed at Williams and Kingsley. He complained of the car making a noise when he got it back. They told him that the noise was normal. He drove it for about two months and the slave cylinder blew. Williams and Kingsley cut us a break on the labor costs to put in a new slave cylinder. He received the car back and it was still making a noise. He complained again and they told him that it must be something in the transmission. My son drove it for 3 months this time and another slave cylinder blew again. My son ordered a heavy duty slave cylinder with a Z1 elimination kit (which made the slave cylinder external instead of internal). He called Williams and Kingsley to get the stack measurements for proper installation of the clutch. Williams and Kingsley denied ever working on the vehicle. He brought it to another mechanic and found out that the throwout bearing was put in incorrectly and ruined the pressure plate on the clutch that was only 5 months old. Williams and Kingsley did not stand behind the damage they had caused for installing the clutch improperly.

Never been there but I nothing but great things about there wonderful staff 😁👍👌👌👌can’t wait to get another car to take it there
