I did not know where to begin when it came to wedding dress shopping. A coworker recommended Pebbles to me, so I went with a couple friends and my mom. I filled out a questionnaire before our appointment so they could get a feel for what I liked and didn’t like. Adrian helped us and she was so awesome! She had a few dresses ready to try on when we arrived. She listened to feedback about what we liked and didn’t like about each dress and started to pull others based off of that. I tried on about 5 dresses total. The last one was the dress I ended up buying. It wasn’t one that she originally pulled but she was a great listener and is great at her job and ended up pulling the perfect dress. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Pebbles. They have a great selection and reasonable prices. Everyone was so nice and not pushy at all. At the time, I didn’t have our venue or date secured yet so I didn’t purchase the dress the day of and they were super nice about it. Dress lead times are pretty long and things are even worse because of COVID so I was really worried about getting a dress in time for our wedding on 9/26. My appointment was 6/13 & I went back to order on 6/20. I picked up my dress on 8/20 and they set up an alterations appointment for me the next day. They do not do alterations on site but they have a couple of places they refer you to. I went to Lana at Professional Bridal Alterations and she was amazing! I had a great experience at Pebbles and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a wedding dress. I believe they have bridesmaids dresses and other formal dresses available as well.
So personable and patient compared to other shops. She said Yes to the Dress😅
I had such an amazing experience at Pebbles Bridal! The employees were all so friendly and helpful. I went in with my best friend just to get an idea of what wedding dress shopping was like, and we only ended up at Pebbles because they take walk-ins, but I ended up finding my dream dress that day! The employee who helped me asked what I had in mind, and I gave her a description of what I was looking for. She told us to go ahead and browse and pick out anything I wanted to try on, and then she went and looked for dresses matching my description that were within my price range. The dresses she brought out based on my description were 1000 times better than anything I picked out myself, and the very first dress she brought out to show me ended up being the one I chose!I wanted to add lace sleeves to my dress, and Pebbles made that process so easy and fun. Their seamstress was so talented and took care of every little detail to make sure everything looked exactly how I wanted it to. She made the tulle sleeves and then helped us place all the lace applique on the sleeve to create the look I wanted before sewing it into place. She spent so much time adjusting everything until it was just right, and she was so patient and kind and easy going. It all came out so beautifully.Im so happy that we stumbled into Pebbles that day, because I cant imagine I wouldve found a more perfect dress or had such a great experience anywhere else. My dress ended up looking like it came straight out of my imagination. Thank you Pebbles for my fairy tale wedding dress!
Excellent service, great selection for every bride. We came in with low expectations, no appointment and come out with a beautiful dress, (a difficult decision to make since there were more than one that we like),. The stylists are friendly and knowledgeable. The place is well lighted with comfortable seatings for friends and family. Our stylist, Jasmine was so attentive and very helpful. Recommend to all brides to be!
First, Ill say that this is a second marriage, and Im not a young, blushing bride, but I was certainly treated like one at Pebbles! I had the good fortune of having Adrienne as my stylist. She was so patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. After trying a variety of dresses and still being undecided, I returned the following day with my daughters and to my surprise, Adrienne said, We just got this dress in and I think it will be perfect. Indeed it was, and how amazing that she thought of me! My experience at Pebbles from finding the dress through alterations and pick up, was absolutely fabulous. Every staff member I encountered held the utmost professional standard, but in a very warm and friendly way. I thought pricing was fair and service was priceless. Thank you Pebbles!
In 2017 fell deeply in Aww of this place, the whole experience, the staff, people and dresses. The customer service was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The place is cute and the experience feels personal and catering. I saw many lovely dresses all sorts of styles, and found the perfect one for me. Whenever I see my dress I feel like there is another day in my future that gives me hope that I will get to enjoy it again. Thank you Pebbles Bridal in Placentia for everything !
There were some good/great parts about my experience at Pebbles and there were some pretty bad parts about my experience at Pebbles so Ill walk through each step of my dress experience and give you the highlights and the lowlights of each point:1. Dress Selection - my initial experience at Pebbles was pleasant. It was really easy booking an appointment with them and the experience of choosing my dress went well. They allowed me to try on lots of dresses and were patient as I kept going back and forth between a few. I also had in mind of adding flutter sleeves to a dress since I couldnt find a dress with flutter sleeves already on there so they brought out the seamstress to help me see my vision come to life.My only critique during this part of the process was that my attendant basically wore a casual tank top with sweats. I think I would have appreciated some more professionalism as this is a place servicing brides that are paying a lot of money for these dresses. I wished she would have looked the part.2. Fitting/Alterations - This is where my experience at Pebbles tanked. My first fitting went fine as they were figuring out how much to cut, how to do the bustle, they were finalizing details on how to add my flutter sleeves, and etcThe 2nd time I went in, I was supposed to pick up the dress. However, I was sorely disappointed. The flutter sleeves were waaaayy too long and the bustle points were placed in wrong locations that made me look like a literal cupcake. So I told them to fix the sleeves and just take off the train so I wouldnt have to deal with a bustle because I was told that this is just how the dress will look with a bustle because of the pleats and its fabric. I wish I would have just taken the dress home and taken it to a different seamstress to save the train but my mistake was giving them another chance. The third time I went in was about 3 weeks later and they actually called me about an hour before the appointment to tell me that THEY WERE NOT READY because they didnt have enough time to finish removing the bustle. This made me lose whatever confidence I had left in them. They wanted more time and wanted me to come in the next day but I couldnt make the time they suggested. They offered to push the appointment back 30 minutes later and I agreed to that. When I came in, there were pins still in the dress and the flutter sleeves were shorter but still screwed up. They did not lay nicely at all. these sleeves were awful. The sleeves laid differently on each arm and it was just ALL bad. The left sleeve was longer than the right sleeve. Also, the edge of the sleeves were jagged as they did not cut the fabric correctly. They said they could fix it, but at this point I was so disappointed and distraught because my wedding was in 2 weeks by this point.Thankfully I found a different seamstress that was able to add BEAUTIFUL flutter sleeves. During the meeting with the seamstress, she also pointed out that the stitching on the V neck of the dress was very weak and pointed out that there was about an inch of beads that were missing on the neckline. As she walked through the dress with me, I began to notice just how poor the craftsmanship was of the alterations. It was pretty upsetting since I paid about $600 for the alterations... The lady at this new alterations place only charged me $90 to fix everything. I really regret having not taking my dress to this new seamstress in the first place.TLDR: Overall, Pebbles is great if you want to purchase a dress for them. However, if you want to get alterations and add other details to the dress, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are other reviews on yelp that echo what Im saying... the attention to detail regarding alterations is just not there.
I bought my wedding dress here and the employees could not have been kinder. A wonderful experience!
I just have to say this store is rude. I would never ever buy my dress here the way they treated my mom on the phone about bringing 2 people from the same household. They didn’t budge made no budging at all to even taking turns being in the store or anything!!! No understanding nothing! You take moments like this during Covid and it’s like these are the businesses who should fail! The ones who have horrible customer service
First time wedding dress shopping and the Consultant Amanda was a blessing as she was able to manage and smooth over all my anxiety of what I thought the experience could be like! She seemed very knowledgable about the dresses in the store, of different styles and was able to get a vibe for what I was liking. She made sure to make me feel comfortable and was friendly throughout. I went into wedding dress shopping thinking they wouldnt have anything nice in my size or that they would not let me try too many dress on or that I would feel like I had to purchase....none could be further from the truth. I did not find my dress but I def had a great experience and thank Amanda for her time and knowledge.
I went to another bridal shop this morning and they only had two dresses in the style I was looking for. I came to Pebbles to see if they had anything better. I walked up to the store and it was still closed. Looking through the window I got a little scared since I only saw about 5 dresses hanging there. But once they opened and we entered, boy was I surprised. There were so many dresses to choose from! Jenny helped me and found 12 dresses in my price range. They were all so beautiful! I was able to narrow it down to 6 dresses but it was truly torture trying to decide between those 6 as they were all so gorgeous. Jenny was very patient and even gave me lots of time to look over the dresses on my own. I still couldnt decide so Jenny helped me try on those 6 dresses over again! Little by little I eliminated dresses until I finally said yes to the dress. I was so happy with my experience and I didnt feel pressured. Jenny assured me through the whole process I could come back later if I needed time to think it over. I love that they also had several discontinued sample dresses on sale which was great since I was on a budget. I started my dress shopping experience thinking it wasnt possible to keep it at my $1k budget because online this style was several thousands of dollars. But they had so many choices in my price range. And the dress I finally chose was actually under my budget!!! I would recommend this shop and working with Jenny to any bride!
This is the 4th & last bridal shop I visited in my search for my wedding dress. I dont normally write reviews, but Pebbles was so amazing that I felt the need to really thank them for their . help. First of all, their dress selection is really great. I was specifically looking for a crepe dress & most stores only have 3-5 dresses in terms of selection choice, but Pebbles bridal had easily 10+. The biggest difference was that the sample dresses they had at the store were BEAUTIFUL. The overall quality of the selections were diverse & all amazing, by far the best I had seen (& at varying price points).I also only have about 3 months to my wedding so while some stores immediately remove half the inventory, Pebbles really works with you. I found a dress I loved & they offered to sell me the sample in the store if they couldnt get it in time. I am not a very fussy shopper - the color was perfect, the dress was in basically new condition, & the size was just slightly big for me. I was absolutely delighted to buy the sample dress!Lastly, the consultant & (I believe) manager that worked with me were warm, professional, and honest. You really feel like theyre on your side & trying to make things easier for me.So far, out of all the wedding planning checklist item - buying a wedding dress was a very enjoyable experience purely because of Pebbles Bridal!
Even tho we didnt get my daughters gown here, the service was top notch, friendly and no pressure to go above what we could afford. Great selection!
My future daughter found her dress here! Great service.
I was actually planning on visiting the Pebbles Bridal in Woodland Hills after reading all of their amazing reviews on Yelp, but was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a location in Placentia since my family lives in Orange County. I came here with my mom and sister and had the best experience! My consultant was so helpful and made a lot of really great suggestions, and everyone there was really nice and friendly. And I loved how they had the mirror set up in a big room with a sofa so my mom and sister could comfortably sit while I tried on dresses. I fell in love with a beautiful Pronovias dress, and even though I hadnt planned on buying anything that day I felt so confident that this dress was the one that I ordered it right then and there. Im so excited about my dress and am so happy that I had such a great experience finding it!
They had the dress I needed and were very helpful!
Excellent service. They are all very nice and I recommend this place.
I wish I could say I felt beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day but I did not. I spent the morning rushed and felt insecure in the dress all day. Everything was ok up to a week before the wedding. The alterations were done and I was happy with the dress. I left the dress at the bridal shop because I was waiting for my veil to arrive and I wanted to try it all on together. They assured me the dress would not be touched and would just be in holding. This did not happen. The veil arrived on the Thursday before the wedding on that Saturday. I could not pick up the dress as planned as I was busy with last minute changes to the wedding. My maid of honor picked the dress up on Friday for me. I tried it on with the veil Friday night to discover the dress had been altered. The buttom of the dress had been sewn to create a fuller effect. The long train did not lay open and flat as desired.and the chest was larger than my size. I am a size A/B cup, the dress had C/D cups sewn in. I was horrified! I left a message Friday night and received a call Saturday morning of the wedding. Although we stressed it had be sewn and tampered with and sent the manager photos of the dress from my fitting and with what I had the night before she kept giving us excuses. First she said the dress may be tangled, which it was not. It was clearly sewn. Then she said thats how the dress is. Again I referred to the before and after photos I text her. After going back and forth with the manager, she said she would send an associate to my home to see the dress and attempt to fix it which I was thankful for but I wasnt sure what could be done at that point.Heres what happened. I rushed through my hair appointed which meant I did not get the hair style I had planned due to the time constraint. The sales associated saw and admitted it had been sewn and cut the layers to the dress would lay as intended BUT the dress would no longer bustle! The bust of my dress was not fixed. My the neck line looked horrible since the top was WAY bigger than my chest size. In my wedding photos it is evident it does not fit and it looks shadowed because the cups were empty and my chest looked flat. When I sat in the dress the chest would go up towards my neck which felt and looked awkward. I had to pull the dress up the whole night to keep it from falling. I spent over $2000 dollars at Pebbles Bridal and was not happy at all. I feel the money was not worth the dress I got, not to mention the money spent on my wedding photos which had many I could not use due to the awkwardness of the bust line. The bottom of my dress kept getting stepped on since the dress would not bustle. All the dances were awkward since I had to kick the train back as I danced. When I see the dress now hanging in my closet I just get upset. I wish I could keep the dress as planned but I have bad memories associated with it and now I dont even want it.
Good selection and prices
Beautiful dresses expensive . But if you are looking for help in the clearance rack you will not get any. Clearance prices are around $500 and up
