HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -- I have been waiting weeks for a 3-5 day turnaround from an email only option to contact customer service. Why? Because Im getting parking tickets in the mail and vehicle registration notices for the car that I SOLD to Car Trackers in June 2021. They promise to file paperwork *on their website*, but they did not. Now crickets! NIGHTMARE.UPDATE: They finally got back to me and sent me the information I needed. Remember this is the information they were supposed to submit so I wouldnt get a parking ticket or notice that my registration was overdue. Because they took so long, I missed the request for an appeal and I had to pay the parking ticket. A $150 Im in the hole for something that I didnt even own not to mention do! I only gave them one star because I couldnt give them 0 stars. I suppose now Ill give them 1 star.

Car Trackers is legit. Sold my 2017 Dodge Daytona to them. They beat Carmax, picked up the car from my residence, did all the paperwork...can’t ask for much more. Do your homework first on the numbers though so you are prepared. Such as...how much you owe on the vehicle, how much it’s worth, which you can do by looking at the market value for the condition/year/color of your vehicle. Be honest with yourself. If you didn’t care for your vehicle, don’t expect top dollar. Doesnt hurt to shop around Auto-nation, dealerships, Carmax for some appraisal offers. This will give you a better idea of what the vehicle is worth.

I transported a car for them and a guy named Mohammed paid me with a check. So I deposit this check on my mobile app, then he calls me and says I charged too much and he cancelled the check. So I took them to court and of course I qon. I still have not seen any money from these crooks. I have placed a lien on them. If I could give them a less than zero I would.

I was online and i was asked by kellys book to evaluate my h3 hummer with new engine and transmission, the value came in at around $11,800.in few minutes i got a call from car tracker and got a written offer for $10,000 since they said they had to go from the original miles on the car regardless of new engine. I called back to accept the written offer and ask if there is any room for negotiation and they ask me to speak to the manager Mohamma Qureshi and provide a live video using my iphone over the car. I got a call from this manager even before we can do the video he start negotiating a price below the written $10,000 price they offer me few days earlier. I new this was a scam and got a better offer from Carmax. The car tracker try to steal my car for a cheap low price even below trade-in, dont trust them and stay away if you value your car.

The service with Car Trackers was great and I was happy with their offer of $18,000 over the phone. They then came out and appraised the car and lowered the offer $2,500 from what they had told me over the phone. However the appraiser said the car is in brand new condition (it’s only one year old), but market values change. They had told me $18,000 the day before, so I’m not sure how they change that much.About two weeks later they reached back to tell me they could increase the offer to $16,000, that was when I told them that I had gotten an offer from Autonation for $17,110. They said their policy is to beat the competitors, so send it over. I sent it and got a response that they could not beat it. Their reasoning was because the manager said so. Would definitely or recommend wasting your time with them.

I posted my car for sale the afternoon of 12/11. The morning of 12/12 they reached out to me and mentioned they were interested in my Subaru. We chatted for a few minuted and during that phone call I made it very clear to them that my asking price was FIRM and that I would not accept anything other then a full price offer. After I got off of the phone with them I decided to do some homework and check around for reviews. After reading all of the negative reviews I was uneasy about the previous conversation I had with them and felt that I should call back and make sure that there was no doubt that I was very firm on my asking price.. The guy I spoke to the second time assured me they were aware of the price and that he even spoke with the purchasing manager and that he too was happy with the price.Still somewhat skeptical I agreed to meet with them and began to rearrange my afternoon to accommodate their schedule. I meet the estimator and he even mentions that he sees noted in their system that I had absolutely NO wiggle room on my asking price. He spends 30 minutes inspecting my vehicle, calls the office to let them know my car is in brand new condition ( less then 25,000 miles) and was exactly as I had described. He then proceeds to make an offer $2,500 less then my asking price which is already $2,500 under KBB…I should have trusted my gut and cancelled my appointment with them after reading all of their bad reviews.. Everything I read online led me to believe this would happen and I gave them the benefit of the doubt anyway… They reached out to. They agreed to my price and then show up and offer $2,500 less. I truly believe they never had any intention of honoring their word.Please do not support these guys and their business. Save your self the time and frustration..

Most likely a scam. Theyve been calling be over and over and over again, for months now. No matter how many times Ive told them that I sold my car, they keep calling. If you reject the call, theyll call a second later again. Ive blocked every number that theyve called from, only to be called by them again from a different number everytime I block the previous number. From the other reviews from people that have had appointments with them, it looks like they are a scam in person too. Dont trust them, go somwhere else. I never leave reviews, but I did for this company because I dont want anyone to be scammed.

Run don’t walk away from this company of liars. They will say anything to get the appraiser to your door. Then they look for a reason to lower the agreed price. Unfortunately, the appraiser found nothing to lower the agreed on purchase price. He even said it was the nicest car he’s ever appraised. “I can’t find one thing wrong with this car”. That didn’t keep his bosses from changing the agreed price. If you value your time hang up the phone if they call. This is a scam operation!!!!

Please dont waste your time on appraisal. Car tracker called me up and asked if they can appraise my vehicle by directly coming. I didnt know who they are but i said yes. After the call i checked the reviews and its very bad but still waited for them. I clearly told them i have offer for 14324 and was ready to show them the offer as well. Also since i showed other dealers i know this car is very good and its just 15 months old with 12800 miles driven. They Said they can really match it but once they saw the car they quoted 11800. So pleaseeeeeeeee dont waste your time.

Dont trust these people. They offered $13,500 on the phone, scheduled a time to view my car, took 45 minutes of my time and then offered $9,500 with no explanation other than we would want to take it to auction. I was up front with everything about my vehicle, there were no surprises from me at the last moment about my car and yet they offered $4,000 less than what they originally did. Dont waste your time with them.

Aggressive and unprofessional low ballers. They offered me $7k on a car in excellent condition valued at $10.5k by two other independent dealerships. You should not trust their good promises for a fair deal, they feed on peoples need for instant cash.

Not good experience. They offered the amount. Asked later for carmax value certification. Lowered the first offer. Bad feeling. They change the word from the original. Tell you about the cot of tires and cleaning. That was already your cost with used cars. Not recommend.

Flaked out twice on coming down to look at our car. We ended up taking the car down to them the following weekend. My husband came home with the car to think over their (low) offer. He called them back and countered a new amount and they came to an agreement on a sale price. Car trackers rep agreed to come with a cashiers check to pick up the car and never showed up. Wasted all Saturday waiting around for them. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional company.

Sold my car to them because I thought it would be hassle free even though I knew I would be getting less, however I sold my car in December and they still havent transferred title out of my name and I am continuing to get notices from the DMV. I dont think it would take 4 months to transfer a title. Contacted them about the issue and they still wont do anything. Highly dont recommend them if you want to have a stress free and worry free transaction.

SCAM! FALSE INFORMATION. BROKEN PROMISES. DO NOT USE.Appraiser missed first appointment and I was not told about. I had to call to find out that the appraiser would not come and that was an hour after the time they said they would be there. The second appointment came and she was an hour and half early.... Cannot get their time down correctly and do not care about the customers time slots they have asked for. Very unorganized. I wasted my Sunday morning waiting for no one to show up or give me the courtesy phone call that the appraiser would be late or for a reschedule.Once we got talking, everything was going great. Truck is in amazing condition and the appraiser asked me to quote her high so she can quote her manager and work the deal. She did not try to negotiate with me just told me what was being done when she wasnt one the phone. I believe that these two had this processes down for some time on what was going on because by the time they were finished BSing each other they met in the middle.As I filled out paper work, I was told that no paper work would be submitted nor will the truck be picked up till 48 - 72 hours after the check had cleared the bank. I had all this done Sunday ( bank is closed ). So the check was written for the next day. Not even 24 hours later I was being told that the DMV process had been started and they wanted my truck.... I did not deposit the check.48 hours after the date on the check, the DMV process has been almost completed and there is nothing that can be done. The GM continues to say Sorry I cannot do anything, We did all the paper work for the DMV just after 24 hours, We cannot cancel the sale, .... pretty much saying they do not care about their customers and just care about the cars. Not once did Austin say, let me check with our DMV Rep. Let me see if we can work something out here.Do not use this company. They provide false information. Do not confirm information before going to DMV. This is a company that is very selfish and will not work with customers/clients.Overall, terrible experience. No help. Very unprofessional. Lots of talk that you want to hear with broken promises.These reviews should not be taken lightly. This company should not have your business!

Here’s the backstory:I posted my car for sale on CL as everybody else. A few days later, I noticed that the prices for my car were fluctuating so out of curiosity, I did a KBB value check. Within a day I started getting emails from them requesting to have a conversation. This seemed rather odd, so I did some research and apparently, they have a partnership with KBB (we’ll get to this later on). The first conversation went pretty smoothly, as they pitched a pretty low offer but I told them it was comically low and we had a laugh about it. A day later, I received another call from a different agent. He told me that he spoke to his manager and made a slightly higher offer that was oddly specific down to the dollar amount. And again, I told him that it was comically low. We had a nice chat and I told the gentleman that the car is priced below the going market rate, and since the car is in perfect shape, they would just pay me the low offer and post it for the market rate, scalping the difference. The agent laughed and agreed that’s how it goes.Heres the thing, after that conversation ended, I’ve received almost ten emails, all then of them phishing for random information about me and the car, and again, all of which ending with the exact amount offered by the second agent down to the odd dollar amount.Heres what they do:When they see cars going for a higher market rate than their KBB value, they immediately jump in and low ball offer at the KBB price point, then after an inspection, drop the offer by a few thousand dollars.Here’s what I found out:After doing some research online, I found out that this their standard practice in acquiring cars they see a high profit margin in. The idea is that if they’re able to bombard you with enough offers with the same price, you will simply accept that as the fair market value of your car and just accept it. After doing some digging through the car forums, it would appear that this is their standard practice.This is super shady and unimaginably distasteful. I would think twice about doing business with them, as if they’re willing to do this to their sellers, I wonder how they’re screwing over their buyers.

I submitted my car appraisal request on their website, and within minutes Will from Car Trackers called me asking me about my 2012 Honda Civic. He set up an appointment for 8pm and he was on time and professional throughout the entire process! Just sold my car to them and it could not have been more stress free! Everything adds up when it comes to a car. These guys are doing their best to make a living too. First off make sure you car is absolutely empty. If you dont want to waste your time and theres go the extra mile and get it detailed before you go into the selling process. So to recap empty and clean your car. If you spend 150-200 getting a detail it makes everyones job easier and they dont have to guess wheater your car is bad investment they can see.Now my experience was great. I set up an appointment and they came tonsee the car. They spent about 15 mins going through the car looking for unreported damage, checking for issues etc. I had a 2017 prius so it was in good shape. They called to get a price offered me a fair price $2,800 more than carmax and it was a fair price.

I had an appt with Alex from The Car Trackers on Friday 07/26/2019 from 11:00 - 1:00. Alex called about 12:30 and said he would be at my home between 3:00 - 5:00. Mind you I originally took the morning off work now I had to take the entire day. Alex showed up at about 4:15 wearing a t-shirt and jeans (not professional). He looked at my vehicle and gave me a high offer. I came back with a bit higher offer. He stated he needed to go to his car and call the office.After about 10 mins I looked outside and Alex left in his vehicle. I called him and he said the the Prius that he is driving can not be parked for too long or the battery will die (which was a lie). He said he will be back in 10 mins. Alex never returned. So I called the office and was told by Asif (Supervisor) that Alex called the office and the office told him that the offer was too high and to come back and give me a lower offer. Instead of coming back Alex left because he was too scared to give me the offer that the office wanted him to give me. I wasted an entire work day just to deal with this very unprofessional company. Do not do business with The Car Trackers they will waist your time. They are not serious about doing business and I question if they are even a ligitament company. They are TRASH!!

SCAM!! this place is not a legitimate business, it is a group of guys that sit around ignoring phone calls and texts all day. I entered my information online on a Wednesday and got three phone calls and two texts all from different sales people blowing up my phone. I got Steve on the phone and he offered $2000 knowing that the starter was not working. He set up an appraisal for the same night and some guy shows up. He had NO clue about any of the details of the car. He could not do the appraisal and said a supervisor would be out the next day. NO ONE SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY!! my husband then calls again and gets Anthony who says we can get 500 for the car. We agree and he says he will call back with pickup details. He never calls us back and ignores our texts and phone calls. I call again the Monday after and they have no idea that Anthony made the offer and are bold enough to offer 240 now. Asif, who claims to be the supervisor calls and low balls me and my husband yet again. He said our car is going straight to the junkyard and they are doing us a favor by buying it. He went as far as saying that he is doing us a favor. These guys are scammers and simply want you to give away your cars. STAY AWAY from this shady business. I have put a complaint in to the city of Placentia and to the BBB. These guys need to be stopped immediately. I fear they are taking advantage of people who dont know the difference. Screen shots of ignored texts and emails can be provided upon request. My husband told Asif that we were going to write about our experience on yelp and he said he didnt care and that my husband was threatening him. We have a right to free speech and to let others know to stay away from these people before they fall for their lies and get scammed.

I wanna sell my 2017 RS7 since I graduate, the price of Carmax is 84,000$, I also get offer from cartracers online is 88,000$. when they checked the car and contacted his supervisor, offered me 76,000$, I just said Bye. Do not trust them and waste time.

I was trying to get a fair price for my bmw m5. I got appraisals from multiple places. Car Trackers apprasial unit was quick with their response and answered any questions i had. They gave me a great price for my car and made the process easy. I am going reccomemmend my family and friends for any car needs to contact Car Trackers.

After the appraiser was over 2 hours late and I had to call multiple times to get updates to his location and estimated time of arrival, he spent 45 minutes picking our vehicle apart and then lowballed a ln offer even after I received an electronic offer from Kelly Blue Book for fair a fair and reasonable selling price. This is what I get for not trusting my instincts and staying clear of internet shenanigans. Hopefully people see this review before moving forward with cartrackers.

Came out in the middle of June offered me $7,500 for my 2014 Chevy Captiva.. call every other day to see if I changed my mind. Came back out three weeks later because I asked for $7,700 and then change the offer to $3,600 because my vehicle did not have navigation. Really? I can go down to the stereo shop on the corner and put in a $200 stereo for $4,000 worth of value on my vehicle? They are just looking to take advantage of people. I found a parking lot ding the size of a pencil eraser and said it dropped the value a significant amount because thats what people are looking for. The guy coming by to look at your vehicle is on commission, so everyone involved in the deal has a vested interest in low-balling you. Youre better off taking your car to CarMax or STG. Brand new tires have 10/32 worth of tread on them. My lowest Tire had 5/32 of tread and my front tire has 9/32 of tread but they told me they would have to buy all brand new tires for the vehicle.

Car Trackers bought my Civic. I went to Car Max and they low balled me an offer so i contacted car trackers and they had Ammar help me out and negotiate the price for them. Ammar was a gentleman and he was actually able to give me the price i wanted and took the civic off my hands with no hassle. if you ever hit them up tbh just say you want to deal with Ammar because he actually gets the job done and looks out for the client AND the company

Contacted thru the website for a quote. Guy called a bit later taking about only 200 for my car, said it could be negotiated higher when the guy came to see it. Made an appt., guy was late,told me he had a check for $200 but would have to look over the car. After picking it apart, offered an insulting amount of $50. And kept trying to say it was the best he could do. Then had the blz to tell me have a good day. Pirate would be the best PG description of the event.

Ever since I bought my first car in 2012 Ive been doing buisness with carmax. I took my car to Car Max like I usually do, but this time I wasnt satisfied with their offer.
