The grooms looked great in their suits. As the father of the groom, I was very pleased with my suit. I highly recommend buying a suit at Savage. For a few dollars more you get a great value and the customer service is excellent. Having the tailor next door is a bonus.

There are nothing but good words to describe Savage Suiting. Small hole on the wall shop with an awesome vibe. Mathew and his wife are a great team. I was referred to them by my good friends who have gone through them for some amazing suits. They cater to anything you need whether its from their line of suits to a bespoke custom suit. After having to change venues multiple times and re-planning my wedding in under a month, Mathew was able to get my groomsmen and me in, fitted and dressed all in a short period of time. Even after the final fitment of my suit, I was a little concerned on my pants fitment, Mathew went back to the drawing boards and we got these babies just how they should be. We ended up going with their virgin wool lineup as I did not have enough time for a custom suit but I will definitely be back. The pictures speak for themselves! I just want to go back and get another custom suit made just to rock it. I cannot thank them enough for the amazing suit. You will not be disappointed.

We encountered Matt & Brittania -Savage Suiting- at a bridal show in Fullerton; Orange County. they were friendly and personable and talked me into visiting their shop instead of some department store or other -lesser place- my fiancee -now wife- and i visited their shop. it is smallish but comfortable and well stocked with quality luxury mens wear. we talked about colors and fabrics, and bow ties and cuff links. they set up a meeting with my groomsmen and i for an initial fitting. at every appointment they were so friendly and offered various refreshments.i bought suits for my groomsmen and ring bearer as well as myself. so we all matched perfectly. the only glitch was that the first shirt i received was not quite the right color. But Savage Suiting still gets 5 stars because Matt handled it so smoothly and got me and my party the perfect shirts and suits; all well within my time line. the next time i need another suit i will definitely go back to Matt and Brittania at Savage Suiting. if you are in the Orange county area; thats where you should go as well.

I had an excellent experience with Savage Suiting. I dont often wear suits, and really have no idea on style, fit, etc. Matt helped me pick out an appropriate suit for my needs, explained and helped me pair it will with accessory items. On top of that, the turnaround time to pickup was extremely fast. Overall, Im very pleased and Id recommend any of my friends to go here for their suiting needs.

I came to savage suiting looking for a suit for my wedding. I brought my best man with me, and we both decided we wanted custom made suits for the occasion.Matt and Britt gave us their undivided attention for over an hour while they walked us through fabric and liner choices for the suits, offering advice at times when the decision making process became overwhelming. We were able to customize every aspect of our suits, down to the color of the threads holding the buttons and a custom message for my fiancee sewn into the lapel.The experience was so laid back and unrushed. It was more like hanging out at a buddys house than shopping. They offer complimentary cocktails for their customers, and Matt and Britt made sure to keep our drinks full as we talked!You can tell that this places customer base is centered around weddings, but Ill definitely be going here for all of my suits from now on (Im an attorney, so I wear suits pretty frequently).Thank you both for making suit shopping the most fun and stress-free part of planning our wedding by far!

You need clothes that make you look sharp. Department stores are never going to have what you need. The owners give you service as customized as their clothes. Once you buy one piece, youll be designing your next piece in your head, and ready to get more.

He was so professional, hospitable and kind. He was prompted in all his correspondence with us and always made sure we were well taken care of and that we safely received my suit shipment. We got the perfect suit and colors we were looking for our wedding day and my whole suit outfit fit perfect. Plus, the price was amazing and Matt totally met us at where we were at with our budget.

This place is awesome, we needed something like this around here. I went in to get a tux for my sons first communion and walking into the store made me just want to hang out and buy something for myself. They have a lot of great custom options to fit different budgets and a great selection of shoes. Ill be going back next week with my bro n law to get his prom tux, Matt offered us a great deal. This is a great family owned business and I highly recommend it.

Needed a nice shirt & dress slacks for my husband. Because we like to support local we chose Savage Suiting in Placentia. We had read all reviews good & bad and chose to think for ourselves. I have to tell you we were not disappointed! Matt & Brittania were very attentive, engaging & personable. They got what we wanted without overselling us. They recommended a local tailor if needed, who is equally accommodating. If I had 5 thumbs Id give them all up to Savage Suiting.

Savage Suiting was a huge help to me. Theyre like part stylist, part educator, and part clothier. I had outgrown my old suit and needed a new one. This company got the name right Matt is savage. He cant measure and is a Rip off with prices. He almost single handedly ruined a wedding. He took our groomsman measurements completely botched them. We gave him the opportunity to fix the error and the 2nd go round was even worse. 8 groomsmen all wrong. None of the Hems were close the sizings were off by 2 plus sizes. You play by his rules and he is impossible to get ahold of in any kind of timely manner. Another company stepped in Thanksgiving night and saved the day. Come to find out not only does he measure like a blind man he price gouged us. Worst of all offered no refunds for the suits he botched having to dispute charges with the bank. Dont let the free bottom shelf booze fool you this guy is a hack at what he does professionally. Do not waste your time and money this business doesnt care about anything but taking your money. A snake in the grass, one of the worst experiences of my life.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement!I had very high expectations because my boss recommended Savage Suiting if I ever needed a suit. Not only did I need a suit because I was the best man of a wedding but so did six other guys I know including the groom and the rest of the groomsmen. I thought to myself this could be a really fun experience for everyone so I called up Matt to get the scoop. I must say I was impressed with what Matt had to say- whiskey, cigars, suits. It was a no brainer so I set up an appointment.We get to the showroom and waited outside for about 10 minutes because Matt and Britannia were running late. I didnt think it was a big deal at the time but this foreshadowed the whole experience. The fitting itself was fine. Although we did not get offered a cigar, we left feeling relatively happy because we all thought we just paid for affordable, great looking suits.Now its time to pick up the suits. We all went at separate times because of our work schedules and the times Matt was available to meet. I get to the showroom at my lunch break to try on the suit and the pants are the wrong size. So I drive back to work, suitless. I continue to have sizing problems two additional times! Eventually I got the correct sized suit but I still needed tailoring. Turns out all my friends had sizing problems as well and one of my friends drove an hour each way 5 times to get his fixed! My friends ended up cutting their losses and took their suits to a tailor to get the size right. This whole exchange lasted weeks.I hope you are still reading because this is where is gets good. Matt calls all of us to apologize for the inconvenience (after my friend wrote a bad yelp review) and asked that he takes the review down. I said no problem but we all fell we should be compensated for the terrible service. Matt offered to cover the tailoring fees but I felt we should be comped the full price of the suit. Matt said no and even blamed sizing on one of the guys for weight loss along with other excuses. So I rebuttled asking for half price of the suits to put this yelp issue to bed. A week has passed now and he still hasnt responded.To sum it up, this is the most unprofessional experience I have dealt with. I am shocked with the lack of ownership for all the mistakes that have happened. Oh and by the way another wedding party I knew was going to purchase suits but then found out we all had problems.

Please save your money. This place is an absolute joke. Savage suiting? More like savage pricing and terrible service.Best man of the wedding lined this up and was promised a great experience with whiskey and cigars. Whole experience took 15 mins and no detailed measurements just basics. Turns out the color we wanted was only available in the $400 suit package that didnt even include a shirt. We said whatever well do it thinking wed get a fitted tailored suit for that money. I show up to pick it up and the waist is two sizes too small and jacket doesnt fit. All the groomsmen had the same issue. I thought ok honest mistake Ill come back.(I live 45 mins away). Come back a second time and suit fits ok but bottoms need to be hemmed and was not a slim fit suit as promised.I figured they would take care of this, especially for a $400 suit. Instead I was told to take it next door or to my local tailor, making me have to drive 45 mins again to pickup the suit. The recommended tailor hemmed my pants wrong and actually ended up yelling at me for being picky. I decided to cut my losses and take my suit to save myself another 45 min drive.All in all this is probably the worst suit experience Ive ever had. I couldve saved myself valuable time and money by just going to Mens Warehouse and getting two tailored suits for that price. Never again will I go here. It wouldve been fine if they had gotten sizing and fitting right, but all the groomsmen had an issue. Stay away if you value your money.Oh and one last thing. He cancelled on us twice when we were on the way for a scheduled appointment. Very unprofessional and carried on as if they hadnt done anything wrong.
