Not a lot of other options locally. Wouldnt listen to specific printing requests, or didnt seem reasonably interested in what we were looking for. Paid $ for something to just have it end up in the bin. Ive been in here half a dozen times. The service seems dependent on who is on staff.

There are only a couple of places in Placerville where you can ship a Fedex package (as opposed to just dropping it off prepaid). You have Office Max or Mountain Mail. I stupidly went to Office Max first today because it is a little bit closer to me. What a waste of time. The line to ship was a mile long, the line wasnt moving, and there were just not enough employees there to help me. I left without anyone even acknowledging my existence.I decided to drive the extra mile to Mountain Mail, and Im glad I did. The shop is more accessible (better parking and quicker entry and exit), NO LINE, FRIENDLY and COMPETENT STAFF. My errand was done in a minute. I should have gone there in the first place, and I wont make the mistake of going to Office Max again.

All you could need in one place for your shipping needs. I ship through USPS, UPS, and FedEx and they accept it all. Thanks guys!

I always use this business when it comes to shipping large, unusual packages that I cannot package myself. Philip is always kind, prompt, and professional. I was a little short on my shipping fees, as the item ended up being quite strange, and Philip offered to help bring the fee into my budget. I was able to get the money to only partially take him up on his offer, but this place is THE place to go for all your shipping needs. A+ 10/10 from me. I wont go anywhere else.

Ive been a customer here for 13 years, through several different ownership changes. I rent a mailbox (and receive a ton of packages), and sometimes also use their shipping services. The current owner is by far the most efficient and professional, and he has made lots of upgrades to the place and the services offered. He has been willing to go the extra mile in terms of customer service, too, which I really appreciate.

He called and wanted to explain it to me so I would understand. Heres what I understand. I understand that when I came in to ask if mail forwarding was available, I was told yes, we can that, no problem. My information was taken, and no mention of an additional cost (which didnt raise a red flag as the USPS does this for free). I understand that for two months I have not received one piece of mail, a real problem since my wifes health insurance premium statements are included. (He tells me there are only two pieces of mail in my box.) I understand that at no time did Mt. Mail try to contact me to say there was a problem. I understand that now that I had to call to follow up, now I get the second story and the response, do you have a credit card on file? Yes, I hung up on him and made my first post. NOW hes suddenly concerned (Didnt call back until hed read the post) and wants you to believe Im unreasonable. Total BS. My review stands. Customer beware.

My wife and I have decided to use mountain mail anytime we need mail services. They are amazingly friendly and helpful. They ship out Amazon returns from several carriers. They are a great example of how you get better quality and service by shopping local.Also, while you are in there, you can buy a woodworking kit from JT Birch Woodworking for the kids. We have purchased a bird house kit and keepsake box kit.

My family has an antique baby bassinet that every baby since 1929 has slept in. Our newest family member is due December 2020 in Hanford, California. Mountain Mail packed and shipped this priceless antique from Placerville to Hanford. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. We are so happy that we shipped through Mountain Mail.
