They had a good selection of shoes to choose from. My old shoes were very jealous of the new shoes I picked up. They were very unhappy joining the pair they made fun of when I bought them in the closet. Anyways...staff here was very helpful as well. Great service. My old shoes would probably say they hated it. But thier sole was just too smooth.

Bee lined for the clearance rack spent a ton of time with two kids picking out a pair...pair selected didnt list discounted rate, however saw a couple other boxes of same, so I am like we are good. Get to the counter...they are not on clearance, apparently when they run out of room they just put them there sometimes. So pick another pair, I prefer my receipt by email (cause I lose everything) girl chooses print for me before I can even press the button. Nice shoes, just annoyed by lack of consistency and common courtesy for someones time.

I came onto the store today to buy a pair of Converse. I couldnt find my size, so I asked one of the employees to look to see what stores had it close by. He went to the register and came back with two pieces of receipt paper. However, the paper that said that there was one in the store was folded over so that I would not notice there was one in the store, and he was trying to send me to Greenwood. I looked at the paper once I was outside and I noticed my size was in the store. When I came back in Amuri was a treasure. He looked for and found the size that I needed. This helped me from having to search multiple other stores. His hardwork and dedication is definitely appreciated.

Not only were they the only store in Plainfield that carried them, but they were super quick to check if they had them in stock, AND, the price was way cheaper than normal retail price. Nice store, shoes are somewhat organized. However, Todd the manager, is a mouth breather and about as rude as you can be. Audibly sighed when I asked if they had a shoe that I was having trouble finding. And I mean like a teen girl being told to clean her room sigh. Then practical yelled excuse me at my wife whom glared at him for the remainder of our time there. Please fire Todd. No one likes Todd.

Great store to shop, especially if you wear Mens shoe size 7 which are very difficult to find in your typical shoe department of any store. The store is clean, nicely kept, and staffed w/ friendly helpful employees. This makes shopping fun and enjoyable. They various discounts that they have within the store is very random and quite. But their flyer ad coupon is great since you save a lot of money on QUALITY, name brand shoes. If I could I would give 0 stars but it would not let me go further without marking a startTerrible customer service placed a online order to be picked up in store thinking they offered curbside pick up like every other store at this time called they said no I had to come in store with my iD walked in the store and they would not give me my paid for order unless I had a mask on called customer service to cancel order and they couldn’t cancel they said the only way was to return the shoes and I explained to customer service representative that they wouldn’t even let me pick them up she said I needed to call the store and ask if they would walk them out to me since she couldn’t do anything so I called the store spoke to the manager and told him I would like to cancel the order since they wouldn’t give me the order my card has already been charged he said they couldn’t and said he would be happy to help me if I would just put on a mask so as of now shoe carnival in Plainfield is holding my order that has already been paid for and will not cancel the order I also can not have anyone else pick up the order for me will never spend money with shoe carnival again for this reason if they would just offer curbside for the people who can not wear a mask it would be fine so now i am out the money spent on shoes and still have no shoes

Best shoe store ever! Management and staff are very approachable super friendly and eager to help. Our kids are often in odd sizes and we can typically still find a really good deal for them. Love their specials. Its the one store no one complains about going shopping at.

Price tags often dont match, they dont honor clearly displayed promos, large selection but very few shoes in each style, no back stock supposedly. Only found two styles of shoes in my kids size and they were not appropriate for the season (clogs in winter)

Went in searching for a pair of red casual shoes. I inquired about a pair of shoes I wanted to know if there was another pair since this pair had loose threads. I was told no with no further assistance as to another selection. I clearly appeared to need assistance but was not approached😕

Store was 85 degrees, I was sweating my brains out trying on shoes. Then the manager got snarky when I commented on their store announcement of buy one pair of shoes get another 50% off for the next 30 minutes. It only applied to the cheap shoes, because every nice pair had the yellow tag on them. Dont talk back to your customers, you do have some cheap shoes, get over it.

Extremely hard to find shoes in my size so I went to a big store. It was okay but hard to get a staff member to help. They could use me staff on busy nights. Good selection of styles and sizes though. Prices are higher than Wal-Mart by far, but you pay for more styles and sizes I guess lol

Most of the shoes felt like cardboard (flat, unsupportive and uncomfortable) inside, I brought it up with a manager and all I got was a sorry about that. I came in planning on dropping over $100 on a good pair of shoes (I work retail and my feet hurt all of the time). They couldve shown me atleast something or pointed me in the right direction. Giving a 2 star because it was pretty clean inside.
