Josh made my day. He solved an urgent issue for me regarding my husband’s frames we purchased in a different state at a different optical store, and he had two backup plans ready. He also correctly adjusted an arm on my frames first shot(that never happened anywhere else I’ve gone). The man knows his inventory as well. This is what you want when you go somewhere for help. I left very, very happy. If you need eyewear and want to be treated like a friend that actually likes you, go see Josh.

My family of 6 have been going here for the past couple years and Josh always makes my kiddos and I feel great about wearing glasses/contacts. When my oldest daughter first got contacts Josh took the time she needed to make sure she was comfortable putting the contacts in and taking them out. He is honest and very helpful when it comes to finding frames that fit within our budget and look great. I would put 5 stars but the Doc is always running at least 15-20 min late. Luckily Josh is there to make the time spent waiting enjoyable. If you need glasses Josh is the person to see!

Josh and the rest of the staff at Meijer Optical in Plainfield create a great experience for their customers. Dr. Gould was extremely patient with my daughter (6) during her very first eye appointment. He was thorough and took the time to ensure that she had a good experience and a correct prescription. Josh and Tori made sure we got the perfect frames and walked me through my insurance options so I got the best deal I could. It is nice to see their smiling faces each time I shop at Meijer.

The doctor is excellent and Josh is friendly, hilarious, and great at helping us find exactly what frames and special features we want for the best possible price. 5 people in my family have glasses and we all look forward to getting our eyes checked and picking out new frames because of the awesome team at Meijer Optical!

Josh has been great on several occasions. He went above and beyond when I broke my glasses the week of my fathers funeral. I had so much to do and no specs! Josh treated me like family...not a customer. Best place to get your glasses in Indy area.

Josh at this location is awesome! He is the reason this place gets a review. The doctor, Michael Gould, is not good. He messed up my prescription. This led to a recheck, incorrectly made glasses, and a big headache for me. A month later I am still waiting to get my glasses from an online service due to the prescription mistake. I wouldnt use this place unless you already have a prescription or good insurance. I had neither when I walked through the door. I never even received an apology for the mistake. Spend the extra money on a private practice OD or DO.

I highly reccomend Meijer optical. Eye exams are quick and simple. Dr. M.Gould is great. The optical manager and manager assistant are a knowledgeable and vibrant team. They patienly helped us all find the perfect pair of glasses. The kids had a great time with the both of them. This is a fun place for your optical needs.
