Soon as I got there they were so polite the staff is just excellent the office is just clean and doctors just wonderful very sweet and patient with you and explains everything thanks for my friend for sending me there ☺️best place to go 🤗😊

I was immediately greeted by the friendly receptionist. This was followed by the initial exam done by the technician, who explained each element of the exam, and was efficient and courteous. The doctor came in and did his part of the exam, answered all of my questions, and was professionally pleasant and warm in his interactions with me. myeyedr in Plainfield came highly recommended. Following this experience, I will also highly recommend this doctor and clinic.

OMG! Dont even think about stepping inside a MyEyeDr. store. My eye exam alone was a few dollars shy of $500. My apologies for this being so long. I just want people to know about all the hidden charges, extra fees, and sky-high prices. When I walked out of the exam room the sales person said, I owe my $10.00 co-pay along with an extra $49.00 hidden charge for a test they never mentioned. I got my receipt and left.The next day the salesperson called and said I owe another $174.00 fee they forgot to charge me for the exam. I told her, I’m done with this, I’m not interested in getting my prescription or contacts at MyEyeDR. The next day without my permission, MyEyeDR. billed my Insurance Company an additional $174.00 plus another hidden charge of $87.90 they never mentioned. I believe they are flat-out crooks and their sales people act like slick, used car sales people working on 100% commissions. I’m out $500 and I dont even have a prescription. At least 4 of these reviews are between 3 - 7 years old. Their actual current rating is most likely 2 stars at best.________________________________________________________________________Response to owner: January 18 2021Pardon me for not believing a single word you have posted in your response. My office visit was in June of 2019 well before Covid. Nobody, including yourself, ever called or emailed me to apologize for charging me $500 for a routine Eye Exam, adding on additional charges without my permission, and for not giving me my prescription or refunding my money until three months later after we threatened legal action against you.

My experience was wonderful. Everyone was so professional and helpful. The Dr was so very nice and made me feel so comfortable during the exam. The lady that helped me pick out a pair of glasses was so patient and honest. I really appreciated that. I will definately return here for future eye care.

I went to this office last year for my annual exam, the doctor was nice however the rest of the staff was rude. I refused their $75 eye scan, because I have insurance and did not want to pay out of pocket for an additional test I don’t need. They were quite annoyed I said no, they must get commission.When I went to order contacts 6 months later they ran my insurance wrong and wouldn’t sell me a smaller pack of contacts, it was either one month or 6 month pack. Now, I am up for my annual exam and refuse to go there again. They called to schedule and I said please don’t contact me again. BUT I AM STILL GETTING CALLS EVERYDAY.

Dr. is fantastic, cant say the same for office staff. They dont call when your glasses come in. You have to call them. I had this experience 3 times in the last two months. First with a pair of glasses that were made incorrectly, then for the correct pair and now - for a second set. I will not order another pair of glasses from these folks again - ever!

What a great team they were very helpfull and caring. They fit my fir contacts and glasses and not once were they concerned with how much they can get but what i could afford. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Dr. Is awesome, friendly, fun, and very good. Both of my kids enjoyed their experience getting their eyes checked. I would definitely recommend them!

I moved to the west side and was looking for an eye doctor. My original eye doctor, Dr. Silky (who I love and have been seeing since I was a child) alway had the latest eye/and sight technology. I was wanting to find a place like Dr. SilkyS office. He recommended the Ossip in Plainfield. And so did my insurance (bonus). At my visit they gave me a new client discounts on one of the eye tests. And the doctor was so patient with me, and so nice. He recommended some contacts. He gave me two weeks of samples (2 different brands) to see which I liked best. The staff was friendly, my doctor was young but did a perfect job. Only downside is there cost. Even after my insurance I had to pay $100.00 just for my comprehensive example. But I will go back next year. They check yours eyes for everthing. And they ask questions to see what is best for your lifestyle.

We’ve always had a good experience here. Recently, we were misinformed regarding our insurance benefits. They not only recognized the mistake but took ownership of it and made it right. Thank you!
