Very nice ladies in here. We came here because Donna started at Ulta. She has cut my wife and girls hair for a long time and does a wonderful job. We really like how she takes care of their hair. The other ladies we talked to are helpful and nice.

Came here looking to find my fiancee a perfume she liked. We couldnt decide on any, but they had a pretty good selection. We also looked at hair products and makeup. Their prices are kind of high, but they have pretty much anything you could want.

I tried shopping at the store and they said I needed a mask to shop. The mask mandate has been lifted. I didn’t have to wear a mask at the court house today since it’s no longer required but I have to in order to go into a store in Plainfield. I won’t be buying my make up there anymore! I can shop in all the other local stores and mask aren’t required. This whole mask thing is to put small businesses out of business by our government. So sad!

Understaffed!!! Hard to get an appointment in. Employees watch you like a hawk the whole time you shop yet they dont help you on the way in. Needs a new general manager apparently. Hope they can get through these hard times

They have a massive selection of makeup and beauty products. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the fact that everything is so affordable and within my budget. I was able to get two different palates of makeup for under 18 dollars. 5 stars guys. Thank you!

Picked up my purchase bucket at door. Social distance is marked at checkout not much through out the store. No one way directional signs, other customers did not Social distance much. Cologne aisle was very close.

I went this morning and Hanna was such a huge help to me!! I’m an introvert so like asking for help was really scary until Hanna came up and had this positive energy that made me feel comfortable to ask her for advice and products that I could use!! I struggle with dry and sensitive skin and I never found the right products that helps me look good. I always looked caked because of my flaky skin and Hanna helped me find the perfect product I nearly cried when I put on makeup later in the day!! I have never felt so confident and beautiful!! Hanna, thank you so much you are an angel to me and I hope I find you the next time I go and need help!!

Nice place! Prices are definitely higher than the exact same product you can get from Walmart. Nail polish selection is fabulous, though I wish they had some inexpensive nail stickers and foil. Its also just fun to look around. The staff are ver friendly too - even during the Christmas rush, they were very nice!

Emily from the Plainfield Ulta is amazing. I have a unique skin texture and she sat me down and showed me several foundations and bb creams that worked very well with my skin. She gave me very helpful tips to do my makeup and was extremely friendly throughout the process. I would highly recommend her for makeup and skin care. :)

Your general manager, the blonde is a little snooty. However! That Jules was so warm, kind, and helpful! She was personable and helpful! Great job pretty girl!

Need better professionals that work there. I sent my husband in with the empty makeup containers. They sent him home with primer for mascara and a leave in conditioner that was made by an entirely different company telling him it was the updated version of what I had. I went to take it back and couldnt get a refund because indidnt have my HUSBANDS credit card in me! Decided to NEVER go back!

Nice place however the people do not want to help you. They seemed irritated answering questions and would point you at something and walk away. Horrible customer service

Energy from employees were not as helpful as I thought they would be - directed me to the most expensive products then left without providing any knowledge on it. Manager or woman in white coat did not come across as welcoming or in all, nice. Gave me a weird look when I approached for help then walked away. Hope her day gets better.

Today was my first time to go into ultra EVER as a matter of fact i had no idea they even had a salon in there until today...thanks to Google...lol...anyways the stylist Laura did an amazing cut Im actually really hard to please when it comes to my hair but she got it spot on...plus she was very gentle...i think i fell asleep a couple of times...I went straight from work which is never good for me but i knew i wouldnt get it done today if i didnt...lol...but anyways i highly recommend her...the other girl did an amazing cut as sWell on her client but idk her name....

Love Ulta! Have never had a bad experience here. Occasionally there will be a few very young cashiers whom are friendly enough, but could use a bit more training on their customer service skills.

When going there make sure you have your make up done or ELSE they will look at you like YOURE AN out side creature from the wild wild west, went to get my color matched and the Young lady that was helping me seemed in a rush, walked out and decided to go to a different store only because THAT NEGATIVITY SHE HAD WASNT GOING TO RUIN MY DAY.

I was brought here by my girlfriend, and its not as bad of a time as I thought it might be considering I dont wear makeup. You just have to make a game out of finding everything before she does. I failed miserably, but maybe youll have better luck guys.For the ladies, I think their prices are a tad high. I think they charge the extra solely for convenience. Solely operating as a makeup shop and having not much else to bring you in like a Khols or JCPenney means they usually charge a tad more. Wouldnt be a long shot to say I bet theyll start selling more than makeup eventually.

Your employees (the guy specifically) can be rude about situations and they get irritated when u ask for help.

My daughter had an appointment for makeup for prom. They called said the makeup artist was sick...so it was cancelled. Laura was so rude about the situation ..didnt even try to make arrangements or say Ill let u know if we have any cancellation or suggest any other places she could go last minute...proms a big deal for a girl. She was so devastated ..as I tried to explain that a 1 p .appt would not work bc she has ROTC Laura hung up on me. I am beyond angry and the lack of respect I mean wow ridiculous..never again will I go there ...they rly need to train their employees to have some type of customer service

I love the diversity in products Ulta offers. I was a shopper at the Plainfield, IN location for many years before deciding to join the team myself. The atmosphere, culture, and overall experience of Ulta is unmatched and makes me excited to go there each day :)

Staff was very friendly. Just a bit disappointed I received no free samples at checkout. I LOVE shopping online with Ulta so I will stick to that.

Can I give 0 stars? So glad there is an Ulta in Avon now so I never have to go back to this one. The employees are some of the rudest, entitled women Ive ever met in my life. Every time I walk into this store the employees are standing around talking, and God forbid you interrupt their social hour witha question. These snotty brats make you feel like a burden if you need to PAY for something. Management needs to tell these little girls to grow up. You work at a makeup store in Plainfield Indiana, come down off your high horse.

My maid of honor was kind enough to treat me to getting my makeup done here instead of me doing it myself. Ive never had someone else do my makeup for me and was really excited about it. We arrived for our appointment and were told that they were short staffed but not to worry they would get us done on time and we would look great. Unfortunately that wasnt the case. My face and neck were orange (i have a pale complexion) my blush was significantly lower on one side and the other side ran clear up past my eye. I had to do my own mascara and my eye liner looked awful. My face felt like it had gained 15 lbs and was very dry. Every time i asked for something fixed she just pounded on more makeup. I looked like i belonged in a coffin not my wedding. I walked out to the car and cried while i waited for them to finish my maid of honors hair ( which looked great) but we didnt let them do her makeup. The womans name was Bree (spelling)Any how it took like 20 or 30 mins (I didnt have to spare because we were late leaving ) to get my face cleaned off so I could do my own makeup. Literally made me late to my own wedding.

The product selection is great as are the prices, but the customer service is terrible everytime I go in there. The ladies working the check outs seem like they are miserable and dont want to be there which reflects on the way they talk to their customers.

I made an appointment to get a cut and bring up my balayage for 4:15. Get up there they tell me its going to be $230 because she was an elite stylist so Im like okay is there someone else to do it because I didnt want to pay that much. There was another lady you could do it at 6:30 for around $160. So okay cool tell them Ill do that and Ill come back since its in Plainfield Ill just shop around and get something to eat. Come back at 6:30 and they acted confused because they thought Ill come back later meant a different day after we talking about it could be done at 6:30 today? So then they were slammed and couldnt get it done and they didnt have time for it. So for one she could have given me a quote over the phone since she knew the elite stylists would be doing it and it would be expensive. For two I waited around Plainfield all day for NOTHING. Just got a oh sorry. Ive been getting my hair done here for a couple years now and unfortunately will never be back. Extremely unprofessional and rude for those elite prices.... lol

They dont even get 1 star. I will NOT spend another dime at Ulta. The salon manager, and general manager at the Metropolis, Plainfield lN location are very rude and lie. Of course the salon will match stories to insinuate I am lying about being told how bad stripping my hair was going to be. Im sorry, but any professional hairstylist would know to strip dark hair in different sessions not twice in one session and then add color. Which by the way didnt take!! I have/had some funky yellow color hair which looked horrible, burns and scabs on my scalp and all my hair broke off toward the crown of my head which caused me to now have bangs. I have pictures to back it up. Needless to say, all they could offer me is a conditioning treatment. Seriously I spend $130 and all you can provide me with is that?! I had to go to another salon and shell out more money to fix what you did!! I will be reporting the Plainfield location to the BBB.

Every time I have to enter this store my blood pressure rises. If it werent for the only place in 20 miles to sell a specific Clinque lotion that I love, I would never return. Almost every time I go to Ulta they are OUT of what Im looking for. After 20 minutes of searching for an inexpensive eyeliner brush the General Manager finally aproached me. She gave me a brush, told me it was for eyeliner and it would only cost me $12. Not too bad. Unfortunately, I get home and the GENERAL MANAGER had sold me an eyeBROW brush. (Does NOT work for underneath your eyes.) Also, when I asked if they were out of Naked Two, the woman working said Yes, weve been out for a long time. What the heck? Double your orders, lady. Along with the long lines, crowded and unorganized aisles, it is a nightmare for a consumer to simply find mascara. I hate this Ulta so much. Do yourself a favor if youre living in Plainfield, drive 20 minutes downtown and go to Sephora. Or better yet, go to the small Sephora inside J.C. Penny.

Took a while of waiting to be helped, but the employee was very kind and helpful. Pricey products, but thats to be expected.

The Plainfield Ulta is my favorite of them all! The employees are absolutely wonderful and their product stock is phenomenal!
