I came in with my purse that Is a small Adidas bag and one of the girls came up to me and told me I couldnt have a bag in the store per store policy. Mind you there Is no signs or policy display in the store stating this as well.So fine am not the one to complain. So I went an left all my belongings in the car and stuff my ID an credit card in my bra. But what really bugs me that a lady in the store had a big MK duffle bag. Soooooooo my small Adidas bag was not okay. But her big duffle MK BAG WAS? Can someone please explain this logic to me. .Then it runs through my mind. Why only come up to me is it because am Hispanic and she was white. Was this really store policy? Did they stero type me and thought I was going to steal?This makes me very angry and I love spirit Halloween. And this is not store policy because I was in joilet spirit Halloween and I did not get treated like this.I will be speaking to corporate on this. Because this happen infront of my kids and my kids were the ones who pointed this out. That they only approach me.

Based on my experience the star rating should be ZERO. I went to your store to exchange my daughters cheerleader costume since it was raining and I was carrying my 3 year old I decided to immediately upon entering your store ask a sales associate for assistance in finding a larger size. The sales associate response was “whatever we have out on the floor, that’s all we have, we don’t have anything in the back”. This type of response is unacceptable and I asked her why can’t you physically help me look for it or have someone else assist me if it’s too much too ask. I then looked for the costume myself..... I waited 5-7 minutes for the manager to be located. I explained to the manager my experience with the sales associate and how I don’t appreciate her being lazy and unhelpful, I went on and on to explain it’s raining, I have my 3 year old and he is very active, I would appreciate their assistance (I shouldn’t be explaining anything to no one to receive their assistance). I also asked the manager if they do not have the costume I would want her to call a different store to locate the item since I had already looked for the cheerleader costume and I was not able to locate it. I handed the manager MY bag in which the costume was in along with MY receipt of purchase for the costume. The manager took these items and stated she would call a different store. After waiting several minutes the manager came back and said she was not able to contact other stores and handed me the customer service phone number. I asked her for my bag and receipt, she kept looking for it going back and forth and LOST my bag and RECEIPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the “manager” stated “I don’t know where I left your bag or receipt and you threw the costume at me so I don’t know where your receipt is at and my manager said you have to leave the store or I’ll call the police”. I never threw my bag at her.All I wanted was assistance in exchanging my 8 year old daughter’s costume. Cameras may be reviewed to confirm the above statement is true. The two individuals working at Spirit Halloween identified themselves as Noelle and Haven. I am requesting a larger size for my daughters costume and I want my RECEIPT back. I have my bank statement of the original purchase made on Saturday, October 19th. I don’t understand why is your staff rude and unhelpful. I have been inconvenienced even more! I will never ever do business again with Spirit Halloween after this experience, I have always bought my kids their Halloween costumes at party city but since the location closed I thought I gave your company a try.... BIG MISTAKE.
