Dont even think about buying anything from this Zales location!! It took a total of 4 weeks to get a simple gold ring resized. It was to be a Birthday present brought it 2 weeks before and had to wait 2 weeks after her birthday has passed.
New employees, they are all very nice and attentive. Great sales make even better experience.

Good quality products and good staff but ill tell you now if you have any item sent out for maintenance dont expect it back on the date they give you. Was told my ring would be there the 17th called later in the day and told they dont receive shipments on Saturday or Sunday but is completed and will be in Monday. Called today and was told its still with their vendor and wont be there until tomorrow. Cant wait to call tomorrow and get told another day. I understand these things happen but when you have a couple thousand dollar item of mine and keep extending out the date it becomes irritating
I had to bring my sons necklace into the store to have it fixed. The two young ladies working (Kailey & Lauren) were a real pleasure to work with. Not only did they take care of his necklace but they also helped my daughter and I find something for her. These ladies went above and beyond to make sure everything was done discreetly wrapped and ready.
Very knowledgeable staff that was able to me make my purchase. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Sara was amazing today when I upgraded my wedding ring set. I had gone into the store and narrowed it down to my top two choices, one of which was in clearance, but concerned about the price, she informed me of an upcoming sale and if I was willing to chance it (no guarantee it would not sale beforehand) I could get it in my price range. I came in and the ring was still there! Sara spent over an hour with me (patiently not rushing at all) wills I reviewed the two rigs to determine what was right. After making my final decision the remainder of the process was smooth and very exciting. I am beyond impressed at the patient and happiness she showed for me as I made my decision.
We bought our wedding ring here. Fine quality, and at a very good price. We got free cleaning, examining, and a lifetime warranty. We go in twice a year. Every time that we have went in they have treated us with kindness and respect. No hassle, no high pressure sales. I would highly recommend Zales for any watches or jewelry you want or need for that special occasion.
Today I picked up my wifes wedding ring after having it added to, for our 10 year wedding anniversary in June. I have shopped Zales from the very beginning in 2007 when I first purchased the solitaire and wrap to propose. Jason at the Plainfield store Perry at the crossing was a tremendous help! I had an idea of a ring I wanted, but he knew within a minute that they did not have that one in stock, but had better alternates. I found the perfect ring to add and my wife couldnt be happier!! The team here is wonderful. My fiance and I went ring shopping while we were dating, we chose them because of their friendliness and their products. The manager and crew were very friendly, and we talked for a long time. They made us as a couple feel very special and excited about our plans of getting married. I have gone in for cleanings since then, and team members have been helpful in explaining the warranty info and such. They even helped me out when I missed a 6 month check.

I went in to get my engagement ring and wedding band resized, and the girl working took my ring and quickly told me my ring was not a diamond and they could not work on it. She used this tool that looked like a pen from the game operation that kept malfunctioning when she tried to demonstrate. The other girl working came over to join in and they took at least 5 minutes trying to get the microscope to focus so they could inspect the center stone. They finally gave me my rings back and told me I should get a refund, return my rings at the old store, and come back to get a bigger ring thats actually real. They added, begrudgingly, that they were just consultants. I took it to a licensed jeweler who took one look under the microscope and confirmed it was a diamond. I will not be returning to Zales and hope no one else goes in and is incorrectly told their jewelry is fake!

I would have to describe my experience as mixed but overall great. Ordered a pair of really nice earrings for my wife well before Christmas. Received them on Nov 20th and noticed they were not as described with screw on backs, Naomi at this location was very helpful and said they would get them repaired at no cost to me which was fantastic and with no questions asked. All fine and was to get them back within a couple of weeks, plenty of time before Christmas. Well, this did not go as planned (and not the stores fault by any means) but, without the help of the staff and Naomi I dont believe I would have got them in time. Got them back repaired two days before Christmas thankfully. Great customer service and patience, though not the greatest overall experience, definitely would bring my business back to this Zales location in the future.

Their hours say they are open from 10-9pm. I went last night at 8pm and they were closed. Then went today and waited for them to put a sign saying they werent going to open til 10:45 when they should had been open at 10. This is poor customer service I need my ring fixed and I am trying to give them my money however they dont wanna open. Its annoying and time consuming.
This store is amazing and their manager is absolutely unbelievable! She was just fabulous at helping us through what could have been a difficult purchase. I will recommend them to anyone.(The Zales at Terre Haute also incredible manager. This company really knows how to treat people)
I came here today to buy my husband a new wedding band but I changed my mind they ddo not have good Customer service I walked in and no one said hello, or hey someone will be with you soon I understand its the holidays and you were a little busy but someone could have still said something
We purchased my engagement ring there (which I love) however since I have had my ring I have had to have it repaired twice now. The second time I have waited for over 7 weeks for it to be returned and they still do not have it by the looks of it. Not real happy with the situation and will not purchase anything else from Zales again nor will I recommend Zales to friends or family at this point. On top of that the sales person at the Plainfield location stated that they did not have and pretty much I was on my own because Zales no longer tracks the repairs and it is up to the customer to find out where they jewelry is. ZALES WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS EVER IN LIFE AGAIN!!!!!
Was in this past week 07/09/15. Was taken care of by Naomi. She was outstanding, she turned me from a Helzberg customer to a Zales/Naomi customer. She was very personable, and answered all of our questions. We had only went to this location because my wife was buying a ring from a woman who claimed she bought it at Zales. Once it was confirmed we bought it from the woman, and then we made a couple of more purchases from Naomi. It was VERY unfortunate that we learned Naomi was not going to be at this location anymore as she was just temporarily filling in. That is a huge loss for this location, she was very good!!

The customer service needs improvement. Had to get my ring resized. Representative was very bland and didn’t go above and beyond for customer. Probably not buying from zales again.

I cannot express how awesome the Zales gals are at the Plainfield, IN location. Sara, the manager, took the time to stop what she was doing (which seemed like a lot of paperwork) to show me everything that matched the description of what I wanted. We told her a price range we could afford, and she went above and beyond to give us something better than I had expected. Once we were done trying on all the rings, I had stated that I wanted to check other stores to make sure I am purchasing THE ONE to replace my original wedding set that was missing. Sara was never pushy during this visit, and she stated that she understood why I wanted to check other stores. I believe she knew that I fell in love with this Celebration wedding set, so she gave me pointers on what questions to ask the other jewelers to make sure that I got the best set at the best price to fit our budget. I went to Helzberg that was near by, and OMG was I hassled, and was shown EVERYTHING I DID NOT WANT! I was shown a ring that was outside our budget, and was the engagement ring alone. Although, it had a larger diamond, thats the only thing that ring had going for it. The sales associate at Helzberg even advised that I buy this ring, and if I liked the one at Zales better, I could return the one at Helzberg. I was appalled! I was also told that Helzberg were the only ones to offer a look through an ASET device. When I went back to Zales, Sara showed me everything the Helzberg associate had shown me with their jewelry, even with an ASET device. That was the LAST time I would be lied to or over paid over price at Helzberg, because Sara turned me into a Zales customer from now on! Here is the celebrity wedding set we purchased. The only thing I was very disappointed about was the fact that it was sold as 1ct, but the booklet I was given for it being a Celebrate Diamond was that it was actually only .96 cttw. Maybe it is considered 1ct when rounded, but I was truly saddened about that. I am sure Sara had no idea about this particular one being that size, for possibly some are over, and some under? However, when it comes to service, Zales in Plainfield gets 5 stars!
Poor customer service!!! This is the 2nd year in a row I was supposed to be notified of custom jeweler event and they failed to do so . I was just in there a month ago looking to reset my diamond into a new mounting . I looked a few places but decided to wait for this event since I already have an account there . I’m over the poor customer service I’m closing my account and going elsewhere !

My whole first impression of this store and the people are idiots. Sure some of their jewelry is very appealing but, fairly expensive for what its worth, and the workers are worthless. The first person I spoke to didnt know anything and couldnt answer my questions. The other man was unambitious to even attempt to make a sale to me. He answered my questions but put off a vibe like he had better things to attend to than selling anything to me unless I spent 10 grand on the spot. Considering this place... I left and bought my ring at helzbergh diamonds just around the corner where I was graciously assisted with as much time as I needed and much better opportunities and a one of a kind ring I couldnt find anywhere else. Dont shop at zales.

These people are idiots. Twice I have wasted time and gas to go there to get help fixing something and they couldnt help. They dont even have someone there to change a watch battery. How pathetic is that? I just wasted time today to get my ring fixed which was protected by the 100 day guarentee and all they tried to do was sell me on another warranty. Um, I didnt buy the ring, its my engagement ring. The women just stood there like Duh Duh Duh. and were no help at all. They cant even look up warranty information on their computers which is pointless. I wont be surprised if this store goes out of business because they have idiots working there.
The people are rude at this Zales and my husbands wedding band broke after only a month of wearing it. The piece with diamonds on the ring fell off because it was literally glued on.
Worst service ever, not only did a former employee mess up my future mother in laws breast cancer ring but they have promised to have our engagement ring resized and back within a week and failed to do so.
