All started with a call and talked with Angela. She had asked the measurement I came up with, but was unsure. Brian then was called he was working in the area and said he can stop by. He then measured and left a catalog. I had put together a door package on Home Depot website and shared all details with Angela. My wife and I decided on color and Angela took it from there.I have to admit just like other purchases I have made the wait was a lot longer than expected, but seeing the finished product made it well worth it. The wait had nothing to do with B and B but how the world has changed.All in all I wouldn’t change a thing. Angela kept in contact and up to date with the arrival of my doors! Can’t ask for anything more!

I contacted Brian after a cable snapped on my garage door in the middle of the afternoon. I explained the problem and assumed the garage door was going to need to be replaced. He said it might not be as bad as I thought, and said he should be able to squeeze me in. I told him it didnt look like a squeeze it in kind of job, but I would wait. He showed up when he said he would, and had the door repaired and the garage door reprogrammed in about 30 minutes. I was very impressed. Brian gave me a price estimate before starting the work, and told me how long it should take to repair the door. He used better components than what were on the door, including the cables. Pricing was very reasonable, and he didnt try to upsell me on products or services. He is very professional and courteous, and I look forward to using him again in the future.

The garage door took a few weeks to get. Once it was in Brian set up the install date. Install went smooth. New rails, lined up the beams for the door opener....and the wife loves it! Changed the appearance of the house. Love it and a great job!

I Called Brian and Angela to schedule maintenance on my old loud garage door that was 15 plus years old. It was a Genie chain driven garage door opener. I wasn’t happy with how loud it was so I decided to purchase a lift master belt driven elite series to replace it. I was shocked how reasonable the price it was and so was my wife so we didn’t hesitate to go ahead and purchase a new one. I was beyond happy with the friendly customer service from start to finish. Did I mention their pricing is amazing and fair? They’re truly amazing people who have a customer in me for life. Brian came out to fix my garage door today (broken spring) and I could not be happier with every aspect of the service I received. Both Brian and his wife (who I spoke to on the phone several times) were very personable and professional. I received a call in advance of Brian coming out to diagnose the problem (squarely in the middle of the two-hour window they gave me), and he set me up with an appointment for the next day. He did the work quickly and well, and he also tuned up the whole thing, including tightening some loose wires on a sensor that have driven me crazy for years. All this for less than half what another company (who didnt even show up the first day I scheduled a quote) quoted me for the repair alone. I will be enthusiastically recommending B and B to anyone who needs garage door work done.

WOW!! I couldnt be more happy with my experience with B & B. I was able to have someone come out the day I called to get me a quote and some ideas of what we want. Was surprised at all the 5 star reviews when I was looking for someone to take a look at my wonky garage door opener so gave them a call. From the other reviews it seems like a husband and wife team... Im not sure if the wife was the one I spoke to, but the woman that answered the phone was helpful and able to schedule me soon and for only an hour window on my lunch. Brian arrived exactly at the beginning of the window and I explained my issue (which turned out to be something silly) but he fixed it quickly. He was professional and knowledgeable. Im always happy to support local businesses and this one is definitely top notch.

Had a busted spring and Brian came out in a snow storm and replaced the springs in less than an hour. He even put some new heavier bolts in the supports and lubed the door. My garage door closed crooked and got jammed partially open. I was convinced by friends that have had similar things happen, that I would need a whole new garage door - and I was prepared to have to pay for that, or at least new rails and parts. Brian came out within two hours of my call, assessed the situation, showed me what had broken and said that he wouldnt be able to tell how much damage had been done until he got the door down. He ended up having all the needed parts at his house! He went home, was back in half an hour and finished the job in an hour or so! He told me that I didnt need a new garage door, nor did I need new rails. He managed to get everything fixed for under $150! I was bracing my self for a much larger bill. I called B&B today to see if I could have Brian come and fix my garage door, which was off kilter and wouldnt open. He was able to squeeze me in for a service call quickly and was here within an hour of my call. He fixed a broken cable and replaced some rusted out brackets and overall, I found him to be friendly, forthright, and knowledgeable. He did a great and thorough job fixing my garage door as well as giving me a heads up about some other issues that I should keep an eye on, as they may become problematic in the future. Brian was great. Had a problem with the spring on the door and he was able to come out the next day, diagnose the problem, recommend a solution, and fix the door by the end of the day. He was very willing to work around my schedule and make sure my door was up and running again as soon as possible. I had a torque master setup that failed after only 5 years. Brian suggested switching to the more common torsion spring, which will last me twice as long and will be easier to replace if/when the spring breaks again. When it does, Ill be sure to call Brian again.

Gotta call from home that garage door had started to fall off the track so I started Googling and found B&B. SInce they seemed to have the most reviews and they were almost all glowing, I decided to give them a call. About an hour later, they were at my house, figured out what the problem was, and shot me a price that was lower than I had expected but exactly where I was hoping!It took them about 30 minutes to get it completely fixed and working perfectly again.I also had them give me a price for a new door (for future reference) and they were a ton cheaper than the big box stores!! Today my garage door decided to stop working. After searching and calling other places in Plainfield, I went with B and B because 1) a person answered the phone (not a call center) 2) They are local in Plainfield. We talked for a bit on what was going on and then he said he would be right over. 20 minutes later he was at my house, even calling and letting me know he was here since I have kids and they were napping. Now thats customer service. He then proceeded to diagnose, repair, and even lubed my other garage door with in an hour. This is service. He is very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does, but also cares about the job and customer. Those are two traits you rarely see together anymore.
