I am very pleased with what he was able to do with my guitar. It went from being very difficult to play to the most effortless thing to play. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs their guitar set up.

I bought a used telecaster and brought it to Mario for a setup. The guitar was nearly unplayable with how high the action was and how sharp the fret ends were. After the setup, the guitar nearly plays itself. I am so impressed with Marios work. Looking forward to bringing more guitars here in the future.

Mario, who is the owner of The Guitar Workshop, did an amazing Job on my Fender Telecaster Deluxe. I started to have problems with my Tele since when I bought it at the Guitar Center on rt. 59. For some reason, when I switched to the neck pickup and when I used the guitar in series, it gave me a huge volume reduction to the point where it literally cut off my signal! Unfortunately, it didnt give me any problems at the time of purchasing it, yet it did later on. Upset and angry at the fact that my first expensive guitar was already giving me problems within the first week I took it to the Guitar Center on rt. 59 (where I originally bought it) to get it fixed and to solve the issue with their Guitar tech. To my surprise and horror, the guitar tech looked at me as if I was the dumbest person on the face of the planet and said nothing was wrong with it !! As he began to look at it he said that, it could POSSIBLY be a selector switch problem or something. When I heard those words I knew the guy didnt know what he was talking about and I walked out having experienced the worst customer service in my life. About 9 months later I decided to solve this issue once and for all and found The Guitar Workshop on Google. When I arrived, Mario instantly diagnosed the problem of my guitar before he even began to work on it. He then told me that he should get it back to me within a couple of days. When I left, I was hoping... NO... praying to God that my American made Tele Deluxe was finally going to get fixed. The very next morning at around 10:30am, I get a call from Mario saying that he solved the issue and it was ready to be picked up. I arrived later that day, and with much hesitation and excitement I plugged the guitar into his amp and glory and behold the electronic issue was finally solved!!!! I know that if your reading this youre probablythinking that this review is a freakin short essay or something, but with all do respect I had to do it so that anyone with ANY Guitar problems at all can be assured that there is a Guitar Tech worth trusting and checking out. Go to Mario, hes a great guy with great customer service. Dont waste your time taking your guitar to Guitar Center. Trust me you wont be disappointed!!!

I own a LOT of guitars and Ive taken them all to Mario over the years. His prices are great, his turnaround time is incredible compared to other shops I dealt with before discovering him, and his work is impeccable. Take a guitar to him for a set up and see for yourself, you can thank me later..

Mario did an awesome job setting up my Gibson Les Paul! I never had a setup done and (I know I sound like a noob but Ive played guitar for like 17 years) Ive never heard of doing it. I always just pulled the guitar off the rack and played it as is. I bought the guitar used and it didnt seem right to me so I looked into it and thats how I learned about the setup. Found Mario through a Google search to find a guitar workshop instead of Guitar Center and he had great reviews. I brought it over and he asked some questions and I picked it up a few days later. He got it back to me faster than I thought it would be. I plugged her in and she plays like a dream! Never had a guitar play so smooth.

Not a professional musician but I’m willing to learn...So I bought a decent guitar and needed it “set up”.I found The Guitar Workshop online and I’m glad I did.Mario, the owner, is a genius! I recently brought in a j-200 Jumbo. It had a cracked nut. So Mario built and cut a bone nut and saddle. The workmanship was clean, neat and very effective. The guitar played good before Mario went to work on it but now it really plays and sounds excellent. The intonation is spot on, it plays like butter and the notes resonate evenly with great after note sustain. So check him out! You can do so in good faith. I am an active musician that has taken great pride in maintaining my guitars for 30 years. Great service, very fair price.

Mario is Awesome at his craft. Highly recommend if you need work on your guitar beyond the basics. He can help get your guitar set up the right way. Ive taken 2 guitars to this guy. Seagull S6 and Taylor acoustic. Set them both up perfectly. Fast turn around. Very fair priced. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Very nice guy as well. Even though he said my guitar was messed up...cause its a lefty! :)

Took my Stratocaster in to have them put in a set of Texas Special pickups and have the guitar setup. It came back to me with lower action than I thought possible. The guitar sounds and plays beautifully. I would highly recommend taking your guitar there for anything you need done. Got it back within a couple of days.
