My family and I went for ice cream. We chose to sit inside. There is outside seating as well but was a little busier outside then inside. Very clean, fast friendly service. Great place for ice cream!

Staff should ask if you need lids on blizzards & sundaes as I cant drive & hold drippy ice cream. I got it worked out tho. Love the ice cream for 64 years. 🤣

They enforce mask policies... Kudos. Dont post it if you dont enforce it. That said, food and service is what you expect from dairy queen. Solid value treats and food for the price. At this one, even if the line is long, its pretty efficient.

This please smelled like mold SO bad. They need to do a deep clean ASAP. The smell made me instantly nauseous and I had to walk right out. Absolutely disgusting. I dont understand how the poor kid working in there could even handle it.

Dairy queen was great on such a hot day! I really wish the inside could be open and people could walk and get their dairy queen but I do understand why it is not. Anyways the staff was great and fast and very friendly too!

Terrible experience. Today they had it posted on the electronic sign drive through only. The drive through line was backed out into the street because they were busy.Once your vehicle is in the line you are stuck and cant get out of line except for the way out after the delivery window. Only when pulling up to the speaker were potential customers informed that their credit card machine was broken and they accepted cash only.Stuck in a line without being able to order any food. Sat there for 10 mins not being able to do anything. After the 3ed car ahead of us pulled away us and the 2 cars in front of us went out of the line with no food.Very bad business. I dont know if we will be returning.

The drive-through line was forever and there are no controls to keep people from cutting through the parking lot and pushing into the front of the line. The inside was not open due to staffing. Would not stop again if there was a line. The ice cream was expected and they were efficient at the window.

They were so nice to me and when I pulled in they had a long line and gave very prompt service.i was impressed and our order was delicious. Way to go dairy queen Plainfield Quakers 🥰

“Due to a shortage of employees we are forced to temporarily close the inside of our store.” Seriously? It’s June 14th and 86-degrees outside. It was like this two weeks ago when I walked from the Legacy Farms subdivision with my 2-year-old and you wouldn’t let us conduct a walk-up drive-thru order for “safety” reasons. Hire more employees. Pay higher wages. Money lost is greater than any overhead cost you would expense by closing the inside of the store. A drive-thru line out to 40 is ~15 vehicles. Your parking lot holds 16 cars, not to mention the street-side parking behind the store. It doesn’t require a finance degree to figure out that hiring two more kids to attend to the front counter is more cost effective than closing the inside of the store. You really think you can’t profit >$25/hour through inside sales of frozen dairy?

Carryout was quick. Ice cream was good. Proximity to home is also a plus. Drive through is kind of a tight turn.

Its awesome ice cream. My personal fav is the cotton candy blizzard, but it is only around for the summer. You can never go wrong with any of the brownie or oreo blizzards tho! The Dilly Bars are also awesome!

Tried to go through the drive thru without a car because the patio and walk-in was closed even after the no mask was updated. What is the difference between walking up and driving up? Was refused service. Asked to contact the someone in charge was told they are a franchise store and they dont give a f about my complaint..nice manager.. will not go there ever again even if they open the patio and dine-in!! Rude manager!

Was told off by the manager for parking in his spot. I was waiting for my elderly parents to get into the vehicle and was attacked verbally by this kid. He told me he owned the building and I needed to move now! I would never ever go here.

Easy access to nearby walking trails from the alley next to the drive-thru, or sit at one of the picnic tables by the bridge and enjoy your ice cream!

Im a fan of Dairy Queen hamburgers, so Im always dissapointed when I find one that only serves treats. The lobby is too small and gets crowded real quick. The service is fast as long as customers dont take too long to order. There is only one register so it only takes one really slow moving group to make the wait unbearable. The lobby, even when empty, is loud so definitely look at your receipt right away to make sure they heard your order correctly. Aside from that, its still Dairy Queen and ice cream at Dairy Queen is awesome.

Good stuff, but the people werent inviting and the store was in need of attention.

Its a nice little place to eat ice cream and chat with friends and family. Theres both indoor and outdoor seating, and service is prompt. I ordered a mint oreo blizzard, which was a refreshing break from working in warm weather. I have no complaints.

Ladies are friendly at the drive thru. Even tho they were super busy I got my order correct and pretty quickly.

This has always been my favorite DQ in the area. I was disappointed with the blizzard tonight. I got a Pumpkin pie blizzard. Not sure if they changed it or just got extra ingredients in it. It was crunchy and the crust in it tasted more like Graham cracker crust. Not so good!

The order I received and the order I paid for was accurate. Everything tasted as it should, but my verbal order was different than the order on the receipt. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie verbally, but got and paid for a strawberry smoothie.

Not the best DQ but it is convenient for that end of town. Problems are either too much chocolate or not enough in the Shake. Sometimes shakes are runny even when paying extra for extra thick. Have to order hot dogs plain because they drown them ketchup or mustard.

Lived up to standard Dairy Queen. The kid who made my blizzard unsuccessfully tried to dump it out infront of me. He did not attempt the maneuver a second time with my kids ice cream cone.

I love their birthday cakes, and blizzards.Theyve been around a long time and is still the leader in frozen desserts.

Ridiculous customer service!! When you drive through the drive thru and the speaker isnt working properly and your trying to order, its never okay to get an attitude with a customer. Pull up to the window and ask who we were just speaking to and say they were rude. Oh thats just chasity completely unacceptable!! Not coming back

The Plainfield Dairy Queen is ok. Obviously the ice cream deserts are great, but the food is not great. As long as youre not expecting a meal, youre trip will be fine. There is limited seating inside, but a few more seats outside.

Always has signs up that state how they dont accept dairy queen coupons. Why not start their own brand then? How can you screw up putting ice cream in a container? Its not rocket science! Dont overfill it so it doesnt run out and all over the place when you smash a lid down on it. Is it that hard to find good help? Its like filling your drink, you dont fill it to the very top so it doesnt make a mess either... Idiots!

It took probably at least 10 minutes or so for us to get our 2 Dilly Bars after placing our order. Also, this is one of those super tiny Dairy Queens that mostly just serves ice cream and hardly any food. And it seems like Dilly Bars are a little bit smaller than they used to be. Some of the items seem a little overpriced tbh. The building could probably use some updating. They even had a CRT television hung up on the wall. What year is it again?

My boyfriend and usually like to get ice cream here on the weekends. I have worked in the food industry before, so usually im pretty understanding when service is a little slow. However what is really starting to bother me is the rudeness of your employees. This most recent of visit. Our order was taking a little bit longer then usual because a new employee was being shown the ropes. Ok, no problem. I understand. We recieved our ice cream and everything looked good, but when my boyfriend politely asked for a cup, so he could get some water. One of your male employees gave us the biggest eye roll! I know working in the food industry isnt always easy, but seriously we didnt deserve the bad attitude.

Quick service. Tables were clean, and the employees were nice and smiling.
