I am always worrisome and skeptical about auto shops - for obvious reasons.I have been to many where I have not returned for a second time. To put things in context, Im 31 years old and I am no stranger to doing my own mechanical work across several trades.S & S Auto is a straight shop with good people that know what theyre doing. I have no hesitation suggesting them to others. They are courteous, patient, and always accomadating, and super professional.

Very shady shop. I popped in early in the morning for a safety inspection (no emissions because of the year) and I was told I am not allowed to wait for the car. They told me to leave it with them and come back in 2 hours. This is a huge red flag, so I went to Midas on Jericho Tpk instead and they were done in under 15 minutes. Im glad I listened to my instincts!!

The pump had 87 octane selected, but the attendant selected extra and I was charged an extra 90 cents a gallon. This is a gas station scam to boost profits.
