Well if you order a cake for pickup at 10am expect the staff to have it ready at 3:30pm and for it to be lopsided and uneven. This store always disappoints in every department from in-store stocking to online grocery orders. The only reason people put up with it is because it is one of the only stores in the area.

The store is always busy stocking shelves which is good because they cant sell whats not there and they are very helpful and polite

The bike section was a disaster!!! NOTHING is where it’s supposed to be! We took our son to get a bike for his birthday, we spent over an hour trying to figure what each bikes price was! He pick a bike that day it was $98 and when we went to pay it was $228! The lady manager who went to price check was rude af. We didn’t get him a bike here we will just make a trip to Lubbock and get him there

For a VERY small town they have a large variety of items. It is truly a general store. I enjoyed wandering the store because it was neat and clean. That was a pleasant shock.They actually had some lovely items that other Walmart stores dont have (like Houston and Dallas) in their housewares and home department. They had a set of CorningWare dishes that Ive been trying to hunt down for several months.🥰 Beautiful elegant white embossed with filigree

AWESOME walmart. They recognize that plainview has virtually ZERO truck facilities and allow parking on the property on the far corner of the lot. Thats super awesome, I hope the GM here continues to allow that.

I contacted Walmart a month ago to give them a chance to make it right before posting a review. Each person said the next person was going to take care of it. Finally, a local person called the same promises, never did anything about it or a second call. I’m not mad or seeking anything but wrong needs to be called out.

This Wal-Mart is suffering from staffing issues. They have had trouble all through 2021 keeping shelves stocked and the store orderly. It is sometimes a very uncharacteristic example of the brand. The employees do try, and it is through no fault of their own. Simply put, the entire area is needing workers.

Do not take your vehicle here their service department ruined my wifes cars oil pan and blamed it on the previous oil change place. Kent and his crew are definitely clueless as to how customer service is supposed to be conducted.

Asked some lady and I use the term loosely a question and was told I have employees for that. I the looked at the name take and all I saw was Stoe Manager. Wow rude and disrespectful. Will not go back if I have any other choice. 1 star was to write a review. Real rating -1000.

Clean well stocked store, I always know I can come here to get all my basic family needs.

I love to shop at Walmart, they make it easy to shop in store or online, and I love to use the curbside pickup service.

This store seems to always be busy and usually only one cashier on duty. The line can be all the way back to the clothing department and no one calls for more help. I understand that there are self check outs, but we usually have a couple hundred dollars of groceries to check out.

This Walmart is cleaner then some of the other location i have been to. Employees were friendly. I had a good laugh to find out that the Topo Chico sparkling water was placed in the import alse and not with the other sparking water.

I researched laptops and spent about 39 minutes looking at what Wal mart had. After making my decision I searched for someone to help me and finally found a young man walking through the department. He looked at the laptop I wanted and proceeded to tell,me that they didnt have any in stock. I asked him what he did have which was 3 or 4 of the higher prices ones. When I asked why they didnt post out of signs by the ones that were not in stock he walked off. Dont go looking for this laptop!

My friend Sandi works for Crossmart. And they supply the books among other things in your local Walmart stores. She didnt want to make the drive top Plaineview alone due to a storm coming in. She went to work. I went shopping. We had fun while she worked. The storm came in and it was flooded. Not to bad. We made it home safely. The Plaineview Walmart is awesome. I cant wait to shop there again.

Typical Walmart with under stocked shelves and limited selections. Not the cleanest. Long checkout lines. Cashier had been there 9 hours and needed a break.

We went through the self checkout and had some trouble. The man on duty took us to the front register and helped us. Great experience.

I go once a week, and it never changes!! The staff is never any help, and it never fails, 2 check outs open, and only 8 self checkout with lines 6 or more people waiting!!! Id give a 0 if there was an option. This Walmart is a JOKE. We can never get help the past few times we bought big things that needed an L cart we had to find one ourselves and carry it out ourselves.

Has Truck parking available. Was able to shop and stay which is always a plus.

I like the store but they need to have my registers open during the even or why have all them registers if not going to use.

Asked for assistance from an employee & she paged overhead & I never received help. I called on my cell phone to attempt to get help & it rang over 15 times on two separate calls & never answered. Yet, the was an overhead page from another customer on the phone asking for a department. Finally found someone in the automotive center to at least load the product in my basket. Poor poor service.

One cashier and a line of at least 30 people! Self check outs open but you are working for them at that point for free. The Walton family and Walmart do not care about their employees or customers!

The PEOPLE who greet you inside always greets you with a smile. The other employees have always been helpful if Ive had a question. And If Ive needed someone to help me with a large carry-out, theyve always assisted me.

Walmart is Walmart but this one is in a great location for those I-27 drives. They are open 24 hours which is a huge plus. And they carry my favorite hair gel here!

Brand new customer waiting area. It is siupper nice. It has a L shape bar area for 9 personal elctronics to be plugged in. 2 big tvs and lots of chairs and some round tables with chairs. It is the nicest waiting area in a business that I have seen in Lubbock.

Its Walmart now though you get to work for Walmart without pay because they dont offer human checkouts anymore

The 4-stars are for the online grocery pick up part. The inside should be reviewed separately, but I do not have enough experience with the inside of the store to properly rate it. The grocery pick up service is typically very good. The few times I received a poor quality item, the online system issued a refund. I have only gone inside a small handful of times. The last time, only a few registers were open, and there were long lines. Employees wore masks, but many patrons were not properly wearing their face coverings. The store was clean, but many shelves were not stocked fully. Theyre changing the lay out, so at the moment things are hard to find and unorganized.

The grocery pick-up is a great thing, but it could use some attention to detail.It took 2 tries to get everything I paid for, and i still didnt get 1 item. When i got the receipt it showed that item out of stock. I asked for them to substitute it with something else, and they said they couldnt do that. I live 30 miles from the closest store and they couldnt give me a different brand of the same item? Pretty aggravating!

This Walmart is a great place to shop. The store is cleaner then you would expect from a Walmart. The employees and management here are very friendly and will help you locate any item you need help finding. As of this past week, this Walmart, and some other Walmart’s, are now selling Chick fil a sauce as well as Chick fil a Polynesian sauce.

Visited the store an hour after opening I noticed lots of empty shelves. Apparently no restocking was done prior to opening. And did not see anyone restocking other than outside vendors. I understand covid numbers are escalating and people are panic shopping. Theres no reason for empty shelves an hour after opening.

Mostly well stocked, except for gallons of water. Not a one to be found and there is a DC about 5 miles away. Other than that it is a great store to visit.

It was so busy and there was only 3 cashier working for some reason and most of the self payed was open for about 20 minutes until they called for 3 employees to run the registers and the lines were very very very long we were standing in line at least 30 minutes maybe even longer it was bad I dont have fb or anything like that to but a picture of how long...... the lines were but I believe the gentleman in front of us did cause if the ceo or someone big were to walk in there at that time would not be happy and would be like what is going on. I go here at least once a week or so and its my favorite probably cause its closer to me than most and I been going there for every and I have not seen it like that ever and yeah it could be because of the virus but still it was very crazy

Waited 15+ minutes in the sports dept. wanting to buy ammunition. Told three employees I needed help. Nobody showed up. I left.

This location used to be well stocked and had a wide variety of products.Now the items I used to regularly get are unavailable or no longer in stock. This is in over the counter medications, general household products and groceries.

Different from other Walmarts. Had to go back outside for a shopping basket. Other than that everything else was as convenient as other stores.

Great location.
