If you read most other five star reviews for this store, they will mention Alex, and I agree 100%. He is very knowledgeable and willing to spend time helping you find what you are looking for. I came in new to the hobby, and he would take time away from other customers to help teach me the basics of painting and maintaining supplies. The other customers at the store who are painting and playing are also very friendly, and it has a set of regulars who are very accommodating and fun to be around. I cant recommend this store enough.

New to the hobby and I had a great experience. The employee Alex gave me a run about the basics and was super patient. Even with a line out the door for covid-19 restrictions.

Walked in and was greeted by Alex. We asked about contrast paints and were told to pull up a chair and paint models using the contrast paints. Alex guided us through a tutorial and then let us play a game of Age of Sigmar. He guided us through a demo of Age of Sigmar. It was a positive experience. I highly recommend the Plainview Games Workshop store as a new or returning player.

Store is clean, inviting, and bright. Shop manager is helpful and knowledgeable about products, without being pushy. Havent played there yet, but tables are set up with terrain for gaming. Looking forward to my next visit.

The staff, as well as the patrons I spoke to are very knowledgeable and friendly. They made me feel very relaxed in what could initially appear to be a very daunting and intimidating hobby. They didnt hesitate to answer any of my questions. The store is immaculate and very well stocked. I will definitely be returning to this business very often in the future.

I came across this store after shopping at Fairway on the evening of October 16th, 2018. Since my husband loves Warhammer, I went in with my cousin and niece to buy him something. I would have loved to have left with anything, but the only employee was too busy with his phone conversation to even acknowledge that we were in the store. The three of us stood in front of him for at least a minute and not once did he even tell us to hang on until he was done, let alone ask if we needed any help. I understand we may not be your target audience, but to completely ignore three people trying to make a purchase is unacceptable in my eyes.

Competitive pricing, warm atmosphere. New to the game of Warhammer but felt welcomed walking in for the first time. The manager even helped me buy a set that cost less than the set I was going to buy, that had even more models in it. Didnt need to do that. Ill return here in the future for paints, advice and eventually some sweet gaming on their tables.

Fun store, the manager is a great guy who is willing to jump to help people get into the hobby. The community in and around the story is fun and welcoming. Great place to roll some die.

The staff is polite and helpful but, as with most game stores, there isnt a lot of table space in the diminutive establishment. It is the place to go for Games Workshop products in Nassau County.

Just shut up and go here for your xeno slaying needs. And remember when all else fails, BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!
