I needed an original painting framed up (16x20) by Saturday, when my wife was returning from dropping our daughter off at University of Oregon. I just received the original portrait from the artist when my wife left town on Monday (which was perfect as this was supposed to be a surprise). Now its Wednesday and I walked in the shop, explained my predicament, knowing he could take me to the cleaners and I’d still say yes since it was a holiday week.Rather, he explained different options to me, and the amount of styles within each option was dizzying. More important he assured me that it could be done for pickup by Saturday, allowing me to hang it up and surprise her. Then he pointed out additional frames he already had made (beautiful wood with two tiered effect) and was able to mount the painting in minutes so I could take it home today! He had an amazing eye for the fit of the frame to the picture and its colors. It was a wonderful experience and not anywhere near what I expected to pay! Should not have even bothered taking a vacation day to get this done. I’ll be back for all my framing needs.
