My boyfriend and I are from Florida and before we went to a burger joint we had to stop here and I’m glad we did! It’s seriously the nicest store. Everything you can tell is just so fresh and looks good. I love how they have their own section for the cheeses! And how they had barrels of coffee beans! The meat looked phenomenal!! Looked like top notch meats. They had a great secretion of craft beers as well! I really wish they had a Fairway Market in Florida cause boy I’d shop there all the time!!

Love this market. The produce is amazing, an incredible variety - all fresh. The meat and fish are as good as you can get at any butcher or fish shop. The cheese selection is better than can be had at any specialty cheese shop. The coffee and tea selection is varied and all great and fresh. The staff is helpful and pleasant at all times. All this and you are paying supermarket prices. Give this a try.

This place is very convenient. I stop in here frequently on my way to the beach. I have never had a bad experience here. The cashiers are friendly, prices are decent, and the beer selection is impressive!

I saw all the great reviews for this shop and decided to go with them and order for delivery. Everyone in our family there loved the bouquet and said it was the nicest one they received. It was so big they decided to split the actual arrangement into 2 vases! Thank you so much.

Love this market. Hot lunch buffet, pizza, sushi and build your own salad bars are fantastic. The produce aisle is immense. The selection of meats, cheeses, oils, baked good is pleasing. I always leave work more than I planned on but am always happy with my purchases.

I love this place. You find everything and anything plus more . Fresh bread and big variety of spices is great . Big selection of fresh brewed coffee and tea from all over the world. A little pricey but it well worth it .

Used to be great but going down hill fast. My last visit ended up with several returns...molded cream cheese, sour white fish salad and bad brie. While returning the brie the lady in front of me was returning a baquett that had a fly in it...huh? I wont be back soon... The two stars were for the fresh lox which are still great. Get it together Fairway while theres still time.

Love this place. They have an awesome and huge produce section. They have some fruit you just cant really find at other supermarkets..figs and guava for example. The deli counter is good(buffalo chicken salad and various seafood salads are a MUST TRY) as is the meat shop. They have these kebobs with meat marinated in fairways own sauce which is dynamite..so delicious. Im not really a cheese person but the cheese shop is huge..you can smell it from aisles away. I also love all the fresh ravioli selections they have..pumpkin and lobster being my favorites. Fairway is the best in addition to all the fresh options they of course they have everything else needed to fill your fridge and cabinets with as well.

I always love coming here. It is slightly more expensive then a standard shopping center, however they have a much more unique selection along with specialized cheese, coffee, meat and seafood sections. Usually there are items that I can only find at fairway which is why I dont mind paying a slight 10% increase in price.

I really enjoy ready, hot meals, either prepackaged or I can mix & match my own container. Deli has many varieties as well. Staff is friendly and helpful and store is very clean.

While their selection is pretty impressive, you really need to keep a close eye on the expiration dates of foods. They are not very diligent about removing foods that have expired. I have seen cheese with mold on it because it was way past its sell-by date. I one time bought a package of roast beef that I realized after I brought it home had expired a month earlier.

I wish there were more fairways on the island. I come from Deer Park when I can, its just better here. Try the coffee and never look back.

Fairway is my go-to supermarket. Its pitched perfectly at the meeting place of quality and price. Its not the cheapest, but its among the best, with the most variety, and there are worse places that are pricier. Although you could splurge if you wanted to, you can also do sensible shipping, and Ive never walked out of here feeling like Ive been ripped off or busted the bank (looking at you, Whole Foods, Wild By Nature, and Uncle Giuseppes).

I absolutely LOVE fairway market. Its quite a hike coming from the South Shore of Long Island, but every trip is worth it. They have an amazing salad bar (easily the best Ive seen), and their selection of both organic and conventional foods are incredible. I cant say enough great things about this place. Their prices are even amazing!

The fair way market is big place covering all items of daily needs.Its clean equipped with in hour bakery, coffee shop and other eatable items.Its has huge parking lot surrounded by Bank n other shops.

The store sells great food but the help leaves something to be desired

Nothing like it use to be. I went in to shop and walked out with two thing. Had a coupon for 10.00 off 50 and couldnt even spend that much.

The Fairway market in Plainview is amazing;. I think if it as a mini Zabars. Perhaps not the best place to get your milk and cereal, but if you would like fresh ground roasted peanut (or almond) butter, or coffee from Costa Rica, or French bread sliced while you wait, or 100 different kinds of olives, cheese, or spreads you can try before you buy, then its definitely the best place to go.

Fairway is awesome but make sure you come with your wallet full of cash because it is also expensive. I, for one, do not mind shelling out my hard earned dollars on their delicious products from their olive bar, deli, and bakeshop. Everything I have ever purchased has been fresh and delicious. Its a bonus that they carry a lot of products that you will not find anywhere else.

It would be a five but the staff is REMARKABLY unhelpful and not all that bright. It seems as though they go out of their way to provide lower IQ folks with employment but its at the expense of their customers. The actual food selection is great but if you have any questions about anything dont bother.

Ive had only good experiences at Fairway of Plainview; however, a recent issue involving Fairways corporate Customer Service office has me a little peeved.I recently purchased a very large bottle of Fairway brand Pure Castile Soap for $9.99. It was on a floor display, so I dont know if it was a one-shot deal or not. Anyway, the soap itself is fine, but the label on the bottle completely bled off the minute it contacted water, leaving stains all over our shower.I was able to eventually get it off, and I needed to re-grout anyway, so when I contacted Fairway by e-mail, I wasnt looking for any kind of freebie or settlement. I made it clear that I just wanted to know if this issue would be addressed before I bought another bottle.The first time I wrote, I received a form letter by e-mail saying that they would be contacting me within 72 hours. When I did not hear from them in over a week or more, I wrote again, explaining that this was my second e-mail and that I would like to hear back from them before I consider re-purchasing this product. Once again, I immediately received a form letter saying they would contact me within 72 hours. Its now at least a week (maybe two) later and I have not heard a peep.This leads me to believe that Fairway is trying to somehow - and for some reason - cover up a product defect, and this makes me question whether I want to give them any more of my money, regardless of how much I enjoy shopping at the Plainview store.

Large selection of organic and conventional food choices. Prices can be a hit or miss when compared to Shoprite that is close by. Most fruits are heavily priced to warrant any purchase. Packaged goods prices are decent.

Went to fairway to buy fish for dinner and when I was walking into my house I smelled the fish while it was in a plastic bag. After opening the bag the fish smelled even more.Threw it out and had to go out for dinner. Im not eating fish that smells in a plastic bag and smells worse when you open the bag.My wife went to fairway to give another try on 10/13/18, she bought a few things for dinner one being a grain salad and once again the food was bad it tasted sour. IM DONE WITH FAIRWAY NOT GOING BACK.

Loved Fairway in Lake Grove, too bad they closed it. Tried this one and definitely not going back. Got bad shrimp salad from the seafood department. Place didnt look as clean as the Lake Grove store was. Should have walked out as soon as I walked through their doors, but stupid me decided to give it a shot.

Fairway is okay. They may have some products you cant find anywhere else but its so hard to locate items in the store. The shelves are stacked very high so its claustrophobic and its all over priced. I went for a protein shake and it was 3x the price of the same product in the Vitamin Shoppe. Needless to say I skipped purchasing it in Fairway.

When you live locally you get an idea of where to go for what you need. I go to Fairway mainly for seafood and meat, for their decent selection and good sale price. And sometimes cheese, for their selection. Some people like their coffee selection and price but I gave up coffee for tea. Their tea selection is ok and the price is just ok, not great. Produce is a bit pricy and so is most of general grocery items. Weekly sale item is competitively priced but as the store is a bit away from me, it doesnt usually draw me in. If you go, avoid busy times like weekends cause the aisles are narrow and its too crowded.
